“I had reason to visit Russell’s Hall hospital A&E yesterday.. to try and assist with a neurodiverse lady who had been admitted the night before. To say that the department was busy would be an understatement. But.. l was SO impressed with the staff.. all of them working so hard to deal with the never ending flow of critical situations and some very difficult patients.. one man was shouting and swearing from his cubicle, others were getting very stressed and impatient.. but the staff remained professional and courteous. I could not do it and l regard myself as quite resilient in stressful situations.. Thank you to all the staff.. truly incredible people xxx”

“Getting to see the Doctor is more difficult than getting to see the Pope. My comment about the new NHS appointment booking system is unchanged. It’s awful and no one likes it. But credit where it’s due and Dr. Sanikop is an absolutely wonderful doctor and has no equal. Her colleagues and staff are also a cut above the norm.”

“I have been using this doctors surgery for a number of years now and it has become better and better. Like any other practice it does have its downfalls, however considering how busy it is you are always able to see a doctor if your issue is urgent. It may not be the doctor you want, but if you're ill surely that doesn't matter! I have seen a number of doctors and all have been helpful, friendly and willing to help. It is however always worthwhile telling the receptionist when you call what your problem is, as some doctors may have a specialism in that particular field. There is also a new and improved pharmacy based on the premises who work closely with the doctors, so your prescriptions can automatically be sent to them. This pharmacy is open long hours, both throughout the week and on weekends. Only superficial improvements to be made would be the decor and more receptionists on the desk / answering the phone.”

“I’ve seen Rachel Young on two occasions regarding my breathing problems. She comprehensively explained tests that I needed to do before my next appointment to aid getting a definite diagnosis. I felt reassured that I would be getting the very best management available. At my second appointment, a diagnosis was made. She went on to explain the medication I needed to keep me as well as possible and how to use it. She also sent me a link to print off the instructions as a reminder. “had a very difficult episode with my aunt and the staff especially Angela were absolutely fabulous from the chap on the initial desk, then the young lady on the second and another lovely young lady on A&E (there are a couple of real grumps on this desk but that's for another time) The nurse chap who i didn't get the name of was also really good with great empathy but the star has to be Angela. She really went the extra mile in making sure my Aunt felt comfortable and at ease and stayed with her when she sensed the need. 5 stars all round!!!!”

“Just wanted to make a "good" point about my recent 2-3 visits to the surgery and praise how awesome and supportive the GP"s have been. It's not that they were not before it was that I never knew any different and thought because of the time restrictions and the workload they needdd to be focused and regimented with appointments however Dr Gregory, Dr Matharu and Dr Khan were exceptional took time to listen to ALl my concerns answered ALl questions knowledgeably and with attention ti my understanding and satisfaction made ALL the referrals that we established I needed and just overall were COOL! Please pass on my gratitude directly to them. I have visited the surgery a couple of times to try to thank them but have been told understandably that I would need to make an appointment to see them and although I still have and establish further complications I don't want to take an appointment that someone who is worse off could use also the fact that you gotta get up so early and be on hold file so long is a small factor and I don't want to suffer that if I can solder on for now.”

As the level of care and afishant way they deal with patients. I think it's good practice that the nurses book the patients appointment.
