“What a lovely pub, this was our first visit and we were impressed. We were greeted by a member of staff as soon as we came in (very polite); we hadn't booked, but he found us a table and explained how the parking works when I asked. We were really impressed with our food, came out hot and within a reasonable time. It's a great place to eat if you're having a night at Hollywood Bowl or the nearby Omniplex cinema. Will definitely return at some point.”

“Since new management have taken over, every meal I have had has been cooked really fresh, I recommend the kebab in nan bread...absulutley amazing.. other take aways i have tried you can tell they have just heated up the nan bread in the microwave, even the chips are so fresh.. I was also so very surprised that after 3 times of ordering they complemented me for being a regular customer and gave me 10% off my order a nice touch i thought..I. would highly recommend to anyone food came hot and quickly..keep up the good work guys.”

“Thought I’d add something to make a real awareness of this place for people who visit and future people to visit. It is simple, is your is average chippy style shop with multi range of foods covering burgers, kebabs, pizzas, curries and pies. Yes it’s a high street place. It’s not your 5 star Michelin dine in location or place so take that into account. Yes it’s various fried food so it will be naturally oily and things are fried on a mass basis. But I tell you one thing as busy and hectic as it can get the guys really do their best efforts to get it right despite the outside noise and disturbances they will get it right you just have to check and have your own input also. Cut some slack they work really hard in there and they do the best effort to deliver. I have been a various number of occasions and my foods been done to how I liked it. Yes it’s made to their style so it’s expected to be different from others places but that’s the point. New place. New style. New taste. Yes language barrier might or can be a thing but it’s not hard work with them and they’ll in return work with you to get your food right.”

“On Friday I came into the store, as I had lost my phone and I was panicking and I was very very anxious. I asked the young staff member on the tills if I could borrow the landline to ring my mom so she could track my phone, he kindly let me use his personal mobile phone. Not once did he lose his patience with me, or rush me. I had his mobile for a good 30 minutes and thanks to him, I was able to track my phone, get in touch with uber support and my phone was dropped back to my home address later that evening. I want to just thank him and say he is an asset to your store. It’s rare to find people like this in today’s society, all the other stores I went into turned me away, and treated me like I was a liar and a thief but he helped me and even though I couldn’t buy any food he still helped me. He is a true credit to your company, and I hope he gets a promotion.”

“Walked in and ordered, less than 10 mins my order was ready, drove home 2 miles, dished it up, still hot and more than enough for 3, very good value and excellently cooked. all for £27”

“I went to Big John’s and the chicken was excellent. It was well seasoned, crisp on the outside, and juicy inside. The portion was more than enough and tasted fresh. The service was polite and quick, which made ordering easy. The only downside was the cleanliness of the place. The tables and floor could have been better maintained. It didn’t ruin the food, but it stood out. The chicken made the visit worthwhile, but the experience would be stronger if the space matched the quality of the meal.”

“We ordered three pizzas late of Friday night, they were made freshly in front of us, were ready in no time at all and were great. The new owner is a very pleasant guy who obviously values providing a good service for his customers. I wish him all the best going forward and would certainly recommend this restaurant.”

“Ordered food from here. It was really good and didnt have to wait 2 long. With the order i ordered a kinder beuro milkshake which was nice but the only downside was the wrapper had been blended in with the milkshake. So as i was sipping i was getting bits of plastic. Rang them up to explain that i wasnt happy about the milkshake cos i was basically getting bits of plastic every other sip And they said they are really sorry about it and to stop drinking it. They said they would send a replacement out asap and asked what else i wanted on the house. So i got sent 2 free milkshakes for the mistake. The man on the phone was really polite to Customer service was really good.The other two milkshakes was sent out was on point. And i will deffo be ordering again just for the milkshake”
