“First time coming to this restaurant and there’s a reason this is the number one pizza place in Birmingham. The pizza I had was Eat, Meat, Repeat and it was absolutely delicious. Also got some garlic bread with it and that was gorgeous too. All reasonably priced as well and the drinks are bottomless so have as much as you want. Staff nice and polite and the atmosphere was great. Will call here again.”

“We came in here for a quick snack, it was 3:30pm so it was pretty empty! We had popadoms which were lovely. Got the lamb biryani which was 10/10, just what we needed, really flavoursome. Maybe add some potato? Will be back to try more. Reasonably priced.”

Today I waited two minutes for my customised order of rice to be cooked from scratch ! Fantastic place for students. It allows me to treat myself to a take out ❣️ 100% would recommend. Excellent !”

“I went to Zen Metro with my mother and she absolutely loved the food. She is an extremely fussy eater. The food was absolutely beautiful, it was so tasty and fresh, the mocktails were fantastic. “I come to the Restaurant Hub in Selly Oak all the time as a student, both to eat and to get some work done, and it’s consistently one of my favourite spots in the area. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed enough to study in while still feeling lively. The staff are amazing and always make the place feel welcoming. A special shoutout to Pedro who is always incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful every time I visit. His energy genuinely makes the experience even better. “Oof spectacular Indian restaurant good Indian music classics, I recommend the Mint choc ice cream for dessert and the tikka chunks with free salad and mint yoghurt sauce un bon appetit mwah. The staff polite and friendly but remember £10 below spend its cash only but £10 above spend accepts card payment, other than that can't fault them, water is free and food is fresh and tasty, will come back again and not even busy on Sunday much”

“Went here for the second time the other day and had a lovely experience. Staff are all really friendly and attentive, great atmosphere and a well run family business. There's a good variety on the menu and portion sizes are generous. Service was spot on, we didnt feel rushed and equally we weren't left waiting too long. We were a party of four and everyone really enjoyed their food. The pork belly starter was amazing and the steak skewers were also a real hit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I'd rather spend money at small, one off businesses like this, rather than at big food chains. You're doing a great job and we'll be back!”

“I don’t get too emotional about food. Most of the time I taste, shrug and move on with my life. When I dined at Poli, a casual pizza restaurant, on the first bite into the pickled grapes I stopped dead in my tracks and assessed what I was tasting. It didn’t stop there, the buratta, courgette Pizza, sourdough bread. All dishes were dancing salsa style on the dance floor of my taste buds. I forgot where I was and when reality slowly settled back in I had a smile on my face. Goodness gracious, the dough used in the pizza and side of bread has so many textures and flavours it makes my mind spin. When you have dough that good, when it’s prepared perfectly in a wood fires oven the result is outer crisp, crunch and inner elasticity. I have to give Poli a respectful bow. You are my favourite pizza restaurant.”

“For myself, this place is a small part of Heaven. I discovered it when my son was a baby and needed a quiet place to drink tea or coffee. Seven years later, I go with my son to have dinner there, and we both enjoy it. The place is very clean, the food is great, and the staff is lovely and hardworking. “I'm so glad we chose to go here for lunch and would definitely want to visit again. The atmosphere was lovely, nice decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend got the pitta, lovely fresh bread and smelled delicious. I got the kebab with salad and naan. The kebab was amazing. It was bursting with flavour and the salad and fresh tasting naan on the side was perfect. The prices are very reasonable and they don't overcharge on drinks like many places. Highly recommend.”

“Where to start this gem? From the website, the ordering process was super easy. But the kids loved the look of the food and wanted to go in, so we booked and headed over. Lots of parking near by. Walked into the restaurant and it was a very nice atmosphere. We were greeted quickly, lewis and Minnie went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. The kids were spoken to by each server, which they loved. The food was amazing. The OG Burger is mouth watering good! The pizza's are so moreish! We quickly ordered and the food arrived very quickly. It was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The owner popped by and asked how we found the food, we told him it was amazing. The kids took interest in the oven, I explained how it worked. But Minnie and the owner got them involved in a pizza making session. It was do heart warming. The kids loved it. The business is run professionally and without any hiccups. The food tastes amazing. They've gained a customer for life now. If it isn't me, it definitely is my kids. Thank you so much to all of the team. What a wholesome and enjoyable experience.”

“Had dinner here 2x last yr and again this yr and i absolutly love the food. Service is 10/10 food quality and taste 10/10 presentation 10/10. “Order ahead as it takes them at least 30 - 40 minutes as they have a thriving take away business - the food is zero frills and 100% on the taste and far too cheap for what you get - if it's food alone that you are after, then go there - if it is atmosphere, service and no compromise quality then my favourite has to be Rajdoot in George St, Birmingham - the food there will knock your socks off and impeccable decor and atmosphere - but it comes at a price - but if quality equals price then not an issue - if you want a Patek Philippe then you have to pay the price”
