“Another Haworth local gem, this traditional bistro cum deli has the gallic-vibes dialled up to 11. Located right in heart of Bronte village itself at the top of Main Street, it’s renowned for 'choose you own' cheese and meat boards; quaint stew pots (chasseurs and bourguignon etc); the rather fun raclette grill (pictured) and many more trad’ French dishes - even L’escargot for the more adventurous! Friendly staff, extensive wine list - most avail’ by the glass and dog-friendly, much like Haworth itself, it’s a warm, atmospheric hug from start to finish.”

“We dined at Tuana for the first time this weekend. We deliberately chose close to opening time to ensure that it was quiet. The refurbishment was beautiful and although only a few tables occupied, the atmosphere was lovely (noting that the music could have been a little quieter). The menu was extensive and advice given on dishes really helpful. The quality was good and plentiful. Excellent customer service - attentive without being intrusive. There were a few surprise and delights too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly dine here again.”

“My first visit to this place has I have heard so much about it so on first impressions easy to travel to also plenty of parking then nice welcome large shop area or waiting area the staff were super smart also very friendly I can see my two young niece n nephew loving this place has it was very spacious with a great view also where we sat you could see the animals outside so it was a nice distraction but the food the full breakfast was spot on the service spot on the price you can’t complain to sit in a nice warm relaxing atmosphere really impressed .The farm animals were an added bonus”

“Wanted to go here for ages. It's beautifully decorated with chandeliers and subtle mood lighting . We were offered a chance to get drinks at the bar or take out seats, which we did, and the staff were so lovely. They came with water and menus quickly and gave us the right amount of time to look at the menus. We ordered some wine which was lovely and the food order was taken soon after. The food was delicious, and the starter was huge. I had scallops in a bisque, and the 2 types of bread that came were warm and really spongy and fresh. The main course was cooked perfectly!! And we were too full for pud this time. No starter next time or something smaller!! This was a lovely evening, and we will deffo go back”

“I recently went for brunch at The Brooks in Brighouse and it was awesome. Right when you walk in, the place feels welcoming and cozy, making you feel right at home.The menu is packed with all sorts of yummy options. From the usual brunch goodies to some really unique dishes, there's something for everyone. I picked something off the menu that not only looked amazing but tasted incredible too. You could tell they used fresh ingredients because every bite was super flavorful. The staff at The Brooks were great as well. They were super friendly, always there when you needed them, and knew the menu inside out. They recommended some really good dishes and drinks that went perfectly with what we were in the mood for.The vibe of the place is just as cool. It's got a stylish yet laid-back decor, making it a perfect spot whether you're out for a casual brunch or celebrating something special. Plus, sitting outside on a nice day in Brighouse is pretty hard to beat.All in all, The Brooks is definitely a place I’d go back to and tell my friends about. “I went for a hearty, wholesome full English (vegetarian) breakfast. My Uncle had the non-vegetarian, and my cousin had the Eggs Royale. For me, everything tasted precisely as expected (and hoped for) - particularly the poached eggs, which were made perfectly (runny golden yoke in the middle when cut into). Overall, the atmosphere was busy, but cosy- an ideal place to enjoy breakfast on a Saturday morning. Plus, I appreciated the open kitchen plan - you could see how everything was being cooked. Would definitely come back here again - and I recommend it for those looking for a cooked breakfast that doesn’t disappoint.”

“What a gem of a place. I had a meal last night, the service was impeccable and the food was top notch. I had a Pad Thai and it was fresh, vibrant and well presented. Best one I have had in the UK by far. The lady who served me was really helpful, friendly and gave me lots of interesting information on the different foods and places in Thailand. The owner was also in and came over to chat after I had finished my meal. His passion for providing a top experience was obvious and the staff there shared that same buzz. I was booked in at the Travelodge next door so this place was so convenient to have literally next door. I’d highly recommend it as a great place to grab a bite if you’re staying there.”

“I am extremely fussy when it comes to breakfasts and very difficult to please. For example I don't generally bother with breakfasts in hotels as the quality of produce used is usually not good enough, cooked on mass and left for ages. The breakfast I had at The Lounge is without question the best I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the quality outstanding. A particularly special mention for the black pudding, which again was the best I've ever had. Great service on a busy morning just after the remembrance service in Myrtle Park, and the staff are all lovely. I'll definitely be back and will be eager to also try the evening menu!”

“Wow. 20 years I've been coming here and never had a bad meal. The food is truly exquisite with perfectly balanced flavours, interesting combinations and always beautifully presented. My recommendation is go midweek for the £16 2 course menu. Great value. I am an ex chef and ex mystery shopper so am exceptionally hard to please- I flipping love the food here. Go try it. “The best pub I’ve ever been! We were there last Wednesday to only have a drink... we ended up having a few and having tea as well!!! Extremely lovely and attentive staff, specially the (I think) manager of the pub. The food was really good and we had a deal! (2 selected mains for £12). The delivery was quick, and everything was packed securely, which made the whole experience feel very professional. The Distro in hell pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavours and a crispy, golden crust. The cheese was rich and melted just right, and the toppings were fresh and generous, making it a real treat with every bite. As for the Distro burgers, they were nothing short of spectacular. Each one was cooked to perfection, with juicy, tender patties and all the right fixings. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in both the food they serve and the service they provide.
