βWork christmas do, reserved for 13 people, easy booking, good communication beforehand. Table was decorated beautifully, food was delicious from xmas menu. Service was friendly and accommodating. Music was good, not too loud but just right. Not too busy at bar.β
βAlways a great visit, made even better with the new food from Carlito Burritos. Had the beef tacos. Amazing, and great portion of meat. Kids love the donkeys at Christmas. Staff are always lovely.β
βCosy & quirky little pub with helpful and friendly staff. Decent selection of beer. Free jukebox. We popped in here for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon, they played great tunes. Table service only, which was excellent and ensures that every customer gets a seat.β
βWe were (very) late for our booking and hadnβt been able to get through to ask for it to be moved. The staff were all so accommodating and the manager (sorry didnβt catch his name!) was just great and made a big table up for us very quickly. It was so appreciated and I will be recommending the pub to everyone I know! Thank you again for making space for us.β

βGood experience! Stopped by for a quick pint and a light snack. Daniel greeted us warmly and even offered to describe the beers if we had any questions. We ordered a fish pie, which was hearty and delicious. Thank you Pump House!β
βHereβs a review template: I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here! The food was nothing short of amazingβit was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their menu. The staff were equally fantasticβso friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I canβt recommend this place enough. Iβll definitely be back. Veggie and meat dinners with cauliflower cheese. Itβ
βHad an amazing night in the function room for my birthday. Staff are lovely and It was so accommodating, we were able to bring our own sound system and had our own bar for the evening. Lots of fun in a great space!!! Thankyou so muchβ
βTop three Brighton pubs. Small, cosy, great selection of drinks. Bar staff always friendly when I've been there.β
βWent here for my leaving drinks and absolutely loved it. Friendly peeps all round.β
βUsually you need to book. But... as it was a sunny sunday I felt like a Sunday funday roast lamb day so managed to sit outside at the back, in the βοΈ. As you can see this roast did not disappoint. Meat was tender and portions was pleasable. One dig I must point out is that the cauliflower cheese portion that size would've been demolished solo if if it had a burnt crispy layer on top, it was just a bit meh and samey. Other than that it was great meal and really enjoyed it. Would recommend.β
βThis is a Proper pub. Very well managed, clean and easy going. The couple that run it clearly take pride of it. Very fairly priced, comfortable country side vibe feeling pub thats always a laugh. entering the pub always makes you feel like you have gone back in time as it has real originality and is not a try hard bar which is a rare find these daysβ
βReserved space here for a birthday celebration and had a fantastic afternoon. A perfect Brighton pub, relaxed vibes, bright spaces, great music, nice Thai food menu, a really good beer selection including gluten free and alcohol free options on tap. Friendly and chilled staff add to the easy going but thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. It felt a really inclusive and friendly pub and was clearly popular with Brighton and Hove locals. Good for kids as well during the day.β
βGreat Sunday vibes, the team are amazing and create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Well definitely be back. Oh, and they have impeccable taste in booking promoters!β
βHad a family trip to play Skalextrix today. The person working in the upstairs arcade was absolutely brilliant. Really made our day - absolute star. Lovely family day out.β
βWas a bit dubious when we first arrived as not a great deal of kerb appeal. Once inside, this changed dramatically and was greatly surprised how fab it was! Staff was friendly and the food was well portioned and tasty. The milkshakes are great!β
βAlways a pleasure visiting Pablos and theyβre always the first choice for dining out for special occasions. The food is always amazing with very generous portions so you always feel like youβre getting your moneys worth and to top it off the customer service is always top notch with attentive and friendly waiters/waitresses. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the toilets/tables are always clean and tidy.β
βJust back from a 2 night stay at this gorgeous hotel for a pre 70th birthday treat with my husband. I've stayed here a couple of times before and I will definitely choose this hotel again and again. The rooms are super comfy and clean, the staff are amazing and the food is well worth staying in for. I really can't fault anything about this hotel. Come and stay and be treated to old world charm and hospitality.β

βAlex is always especially attentive when we come in. The atmosphere is always amazing and we love the feel of the upstairs of ECC. Amazing staff & amazing drinks recommendations. Weβll be back every time weβre out in EBN.β
βOmg!! This is by far the best food ever. The staff are so unbelievably fantastic and were so good catering for my Daughters peanut allergy which is why I came back and will be coming back again. I highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed. So glad I found this fantastic place!!!β
βHad lunch here with some friends. Large popular pub and not ruined by a makeover. The food was very good and reasonably priced. They have special offers depending on the day of the week. The Harvey's beer was in good condition. It was a Tuesday and fairly quiet. I understand it gets busy in the evenings and at weekends. There is a large outdoor seating area if you like that sort of thing. Will definitely go back when next in Lewes.β
βFeels like a proper English country inn, with great atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a function room to hire (I was there for a party) and the buffet was great. I'd be tempted to go try the rooms and the main restaurant sometime.β
βWe stopped off for food at Sunday lunchtime and I cannot recommend the roast dinner enough! One of the best I have ever had . They catered to my dietary requirements (gluten free) and served delicious food . The service was wonderful and staff was very friendly . I would come back againβ
βCasta amd Madge found yet another CAMRA Good Beer Guide regular. Four real ales and a real cider. Had my first ever beer from Hand Brew ( Canterbury, Kent.) . Very good. A lovely front room ( couple of tv's) and a surprisingly large beer garden. Upstairs for another room with darts, pool, TV's etc. Serves food. Close to railway ststion.β
βOur evening at Thieves' Kitchen was fantastic! It was our last day of our holiday in Worthing and we are really sad that we didn't find our way to the pub sooner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. There were four of us and we brought our two dachshunds with us, who were given a warm welcome with a water bowl and dog biscuits, just like us. We highly recommend it and will gladly return if we are ever in the area again!β
βGreat atmosphere, great beer and wine. Watching the Rugby right now so must dash...β
