βReally vibey pub. The staff were all very friendly and the place looked very clean. I loved that they had board games to play. The menu was great and included a heap of vegetarian options. The food was delicious as well as their drinks. I definitely would recommend to anyone who is in Horsham.β
βAmazing experience at Cote Tunbridge Wells. Hosted my daughterβs 9th K Pop themed party upstairs in the private dining room - couldnβt fault it. Mocktails, amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. She has the best birthday ever, as did her friends. Cristina and the team are exceptional.β
βVery good place. We loved the food and drinks (chateaubriand plus Malbec). Beautiful interior as well.β
βLovely refurb of the Palmiera! Lovely and fresh with some nice arty touches. Great deals for for food and drinks. Free pool on Tuesdays and lots of sport available. Fun for kids and a great spacey garden space out back too. Lovely friendly staff !β
βI was in Brighton for 9 days, and found myself returning to this lovely pub, 3 times! The food was so top notch tasty. Great vibe, friendly service, great gin selection. Attracts a nice crowd as well. If I lived here, it would be my local for sure!β
βThis place is a Hove staple, itβs beautiful inside, with amazing chandeliers and a beautiful bar. They run a consistently great Jazz night and the bar is always full of good mix of ages and people. I had Thai food here a long time ago, it is a good standard of pub Thai and very reasonableβ
βWhat a place to celebrate a staff Christmas party. When we entered, it felt like we were in a fairy tale town. Posh, lovely decor, clean toilets. Whole restaurant looked amazing, you couldnβt find any faults. We ordered our drinks and food and it arrived with smiles. All the food looked and tasted amazing; we all loved it! We want to personally thank the management for serving amazing food and delivering brilliant service. By the time we leave all my staffsβ faces are full with smiles! Highly recommend! Thanks Hen and Chicken SOUTHWATERβ
βI've really enjoyed all my visits to this cafe/restaurant, in Horam. As there's plenty of in door & out door seating. They offer an excellent selection of drinks, cake & desserts. It's also a nice place for a short stroll around their fishing ponds.β
βGreat spot, but more importantly I recently had a Sunday roast there, and it was one of the very best I've ever had, and I don't make such statements lightly! I had the veggie version, but my partner felt similarly about her meaty one.β
βBeautiful place, vibes, food was excellent and really really reasonably priced. Would recommend the wraps and hot chocolate! Steph and Francesca made me feel very welcome, thanks you.β
βThis is a wonderful little gem of a cafe which can easily be missed along the hustle and bustle of Lewes Road. I come in and find the atmosphere inviting and very calm. Definitely a great Ma & Pa joint with plenty of friendly locals (and good food!). Cozy chairs by big windows are a great place to be for some brunch or a morning coffee. Drop by and give it a try!β
βVery modern hotel with everything needed. The car park isn't on site, but it's only a short walk. I would imagine it's a great place to stop in the summer, with views over the Marina. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. A good hotel base for exploring Brighton.β
βStayed in Brighton a few times but this time was exceptional! Amazingly warming, welcoming staff. Mike was very attentive and although first time meeting him, he felt like an old friend! Very much a people person and excells in his role. My partner booked the room with the balcony and was a very spacious room with a huge bath tub. Breakfast was fantastic too, best hash brown I have ever had and I have had a few. This is one place you will definitely return too after staying here. Fabulous all round. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable and having a parking space (although not guaranteed) was so helpful too. Xβ
βThis is a Proper pub. Very well managed, clean and easy going. The couple that run it clearly take pride of it. Very fairly priced, comfortable country side vibe feeling pub thats always a laugh. entering the pub always makes you feel like you have gone back in time as it has real originality and is not a try hard bar which is a rare find these daysβ
βOne of Brightons only remaining Proper pubs. Fair selection of cask ale.as well as lagers. Nice, friendly staff and locals alike. Amazing pie n mash for Β£7!!! Pies are from the famous pie shop next door.β
βI stumbled across this gem of a pub in Brighton and couldn't be more impressed. The prices are genuinely some of the best you'll find in the area-great value without compromising on quality. Whether you're after a pint or a cocktail, everything is reasonably priced. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient from the moment you walk in. You never feel like you're waiting around, and there's always a warm, relaxed atmosphere. They strike that perfect balance between being professional and making you feel right at home. Highly recommend for a casual drink, a night out with friends, or even just a laidback afternoon. Will definitely be back!β
βThe William the Fourth pub is a charming spot for a delicious meal. Our group enjoyed a feast of juicy burgers piled high with toppings, crispy chicken wings bursting with flavor, and chips cooked to perfection. But the food wasn't the only highlight of our visit. The pub itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with cozy corners and a welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. And as a bonus, they even have Blue Moon on tap! It's the perfect place to relax with friends or family over some great food and drinks.β
βHad a really lovely lunch at The New Oak today . The burgers etc from Burger Off were gorgeous, and Iβm not really a burger eater. The Landlord and all the staff are so Friendly, nothing to much trouble . It has a really lovely atmosphere and friendly locals , we will be backβ
βPopped in there for a random drink on Thursday night what a Nice pub, Chilled environment and vibes! Georgia who was working was lovely too!.. Not sure what other whisky apart from Jack.d they have but will be back to find out!.β
βTiago and Anna do a great job here. Community Skratch Music appreciates the opportunity every year to use the pub as the venue. Top marksβ
βWent here for a lunch break after having a trip down memory lane. Had a shandy and some chips and my server Kelly was awesome. When I told her I had lived in the area 50 years ago she say right down and asked me to tell her everything The chips were delicious with vinegar ( not typically served in US) and the shandy was perfect (no one knows how to make one in LA) The rhubarb apple crumble was soso and may not have been homemade. I will try the Sticky toffee pudding next time. The venue was cute and they had a great outdoor sitting area and the people were really nice. I would go again and again.β
βWhat a gem of a pub. Beautiful decor, warm welcome, superb food (the seafood chowder was magnificent) and wonderful service. Will be returning very soonβ
βStopped by The Sportsman Stonehouse and had the Meat Feast Calzone...it was spot on. Loads of flavour, plenty of filling, and the dough was cooked just right. The price felt fair for the quality, the place was clean, and there is lots of parking spaces. The staff were really friendly (Louise and Taran) and welcoming, which made it a nice visit. Iβd happily come back again.β
βMy sister and I made a pilgrimage here from the U.S., as our 3rd great grandparents ran the pub about 200 years ago. We happened in on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the Sunday roast along with l excellent service. Everything was delicious and top notch. On learning of our presence, the manager came and welcomed us. Thanks for everything, Seven Stars!β
βWent for the Christmas party night, beautiful decorations, very festive!! Good choice of food, decent portion size, good service, reasonably priced drinks, fab entertainment. My only slight complaint was the entertainment was very, very loud, Will take ear plugs next time! Staff were lovely, friendly & attentive. We would go again. I'd like to go back for a Sunday roast and other things on the menu looked interesting as well! 5*****β
βGreat find in Brighton. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend the chicken shish, calamari, salad and prawns. Best meal we had all week!β
βHave eaten or drunk at this pub a few times now, and have yet to be dissapointed. The food is always incredible (the duck dish on the special menu is particularly tasty), and the drinks are good value with a good variety of beer on tap, spirits and cocktails. Have always been welcomed with a smile and good vibes from the bar staff, and the Saturday night bands are are always good entertainment too! Will always pop in if I'm in the area βΊοΈβ
βAbsolutely loved this meal. Can't believe it's taken me so long to get there. Definitely some of the best Thai I've had in Brighton. Great flavours and generous portions. Lovely staff and ambience. Menu changes regularly but our sea bass and pork belly dishes were superb. Highly recommendβ
βIs this Brightonβs best kept secret? Hands down, the Charles Napier offers the best quiz night in Brighton. Taking place every Sunday night, quiz master David Potter throws out questions over a broad range of subjects that will have you wishing you had studied harder at school! Great, quirky pub too, with a warm welcome and fine selection of beers. Thoroughly recommended.β
βThe Gladdy is back !!! After the long awaited dismissal of the last manager, ( what a nobber !!) (who definitely didn't understand how to run this bastion of old school brighton pubs ) it is now under new management and what a breath of fresh air !! this place is banging once more. Great staff, regular gigs, music and real punters !! And now open past 9:00pm !! One of the best pubs in Brighton !! Always great gigs. See ya there !!! P.s. Don't vote tory, Not my king xβ
