“We had a brewery experience day with zak the brewer on Saturday 15th November. On arrival we knew it would be a great day as greeted by zak with bacon sarnies and coffee quickly prepared. The brewery room was cozy and felt perfect for a personal day for the 3 of us. The day was hands on and the samples during the day made it flow well. Zak was full of knowledge, good humour and great personal service. He is a huge asset to the company and the whole day. Lunch was served at a good time and come to us all within our own private brewing room. To finish the day we had a choice of our own beer to take away. We will be back again to see zak and see what else we can brew. Overall the day was more than great. It was amazing. Richard worthing.”

“I first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! We’ve been back every month since, it’s brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if it’s someone’s birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, I’m surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys we’ll see you next month!”

“One of the best place in Worthing and surrounding! Delicious food, very good portions and not as pricey as you would think, buying main two sides comes with it! My experience over the years just getting better and better! Owner always around very professional and friendly staff! Location just couple minutes walking distance from the Worthing sea side! Been going there from the day they open and will continue as they have best chicken wings and T-bone stake!”

“I came here in search of food to cater for my severe nut allergy having not felt confident to eat at another restaurant. The girl behind the bar was brilliant, and Chris the Chef was extremely thorough at checking all the ingredients and ensuring there was no cross-contamination. 10/10 for the service, and I will 100% eat and drink here again when passing through for work. 10/10 for the atmosphere too!”

“The quality of the food and service at The Corner House pub was absolutely exceptional. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a Sunday roast — look no further! You’ll be amazed at the portion sizes, especially the Yorkshire puddings, which were out of this world. Every single vegetable was cooked to perfection, with real care and quality shining through. We went as a small family of four and were completely blown away by just how good the food was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too, making it the ideal spot for a family meal. If you want a Sunday roast done properly, make sure you get in there early — I can only imagine tables get booked out well in advance. Thanks for a wonderful experience. — Martin and family”

“We did the bottomless brunch with Szymon aka shimmy!! What a brilliant time we had. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he was attentive and made us feel like the only people in the bar despite the bar being full of Christmas parties. Would thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch and Harlequins especially if served by Szymon!”

“Ok. Let’s start saying that I went to this place with very little expectation to find Sicilian street food, contrary wise this place exceeded my expectations. A precious little place in duke street that stand out for all the competitors in the street. I went safe for coffee and cake and it was ever so good that I decided to have an arancino al pistacchio after, and I was literally transported to Sicily with the flavours of the food. At the exit I managed to compliment myself with Davide the owner of the place, which was exquisite. His passion is clearly expressed into the food and the attention to details. I would not hesitate to come back for a coffee and cake, quick or long lunch, an aperitivo or a nice traditional unique Sicilian meal out. Ideal for everyone, from kids to adult and wheelchair friendly with ground floor access and tables. The unpretentiousness of this place makes it ideal for a solo meal as well as a romantic date to impress. Sicilian typical product also available to buy at the counter....not to be missed the “Crema al pistacchio”. In conclusion, this place is a must go either if you are Italian or not, and you will easily spot why is second to none. So far the best “arancini” in Brighton.”

“Favourite pub in the area, one of the few old fashioned boozers. Absolutely fabulous landlady and landlord who are just a pleasant to be round. Have been bringing my football team here for a few years now. The Battle was once renowned as the avoid at all costs pub, but the pair have brought the good vibes back again!”

“Stopped by for a quick half and to use the toilet. Was a quiet little local boozer in the afternoon, didn't have food so couldn't review. Looks like they do burgers and roasts aswell as karaoke nights. Gents toilets were ok, didn't smell particularly or anything”

“My partner and I took a chance and entered this venue which was surprisingly quiet. The menu had brunch items which were appealing. We chose our table, the decor was really cool, servers were exceptionally friendly and when the food came out, it was excellent. Reasonably priced and great quality. Served with a smile. “Ever been to High Brooms? No, me neither. Until today. Sunday Roast tourism takes you all round the houses. Today’s pit stop the Leicester Arms. Tip of the day: Pay the taxi fare before you’re out of signal range. The pub sits slap bang in the middle of Penshurst. Albeit Penshurst is so small it doesn’t really have a start or an end. In essence you’re between Penshurst House and Gardens and the Post Office, and opposite the town hall. The building is rustic with a warm village feel both outside and inside. Staff friendly, good toilet artwork and whole rolls of bog paper rather than the stingy dispenser nonsense - always a plus. Anyway, the roast. Oval plates that lip up at the sides with gravy up to a circa 2mm waterline leaving the hull of the potatoes and vegetables submerged. Two hearty slices of juicy pink sirloin and a Yorkshire pudding athletically perched on top. If art exists to be appreciated ad infinitum this installation was ripped apart in minutes. Devoured. 90 mins of travelling and an eating time shorter than a F1 pit-stop. Worth the visit? 100%. Washed down with a brownie that was warm, satisfyingly sludgy and had a thick slate of white chocolate inside. Lovely surprise. The menu quoted £8.50 the bill read £10. No complaints though, I would have paid £11 for it. All in a good day out.”

“Just revisited after a range of improvements have been made by the new owners. The hotel/bar/restaurant has a much better flow to it now and the bedrooms have been decluttered, leading to a much better look, with a place now for your luggage. Rooms seem really good value for the area. Would definitely come back again.”

Once we were in the lounge Natalie guided us to where the hot meal counter is and checked on us to ensure we were comfortable. Thank you for such a warm welcome at one of our favorite lounges in South Terminal!”

“OMG !! Why can’t I leave 6 stars ??? Anna, Lauren and the team absolutely Smashed Christmas out of the park…..AGAIN !!! The children getting to see the reindeer and Santa Claus was so special. Memories that will last a lifetime were made and we as a family can’t Thankyou enough for how special it has made Christmas. Please please do this again next year. “Thank you Hove Place for a wonderful Christmas lunch! Here goes a gushing review… Today my partner and I had booked in for Christmas Day lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We thought the £145 price per person was a bit steep (especially as there was a £6 supplement on the steak), but we’ve eaten in there before so we were confident it wouldn’t disappoint, and it didn’t! Firstly, we were greeted warmly by all of the staff, I thought they might be a little jaded after the first lunch sitting, but they were all full of energy and festive cheer. We enjoyed every single course; I loved my venison starter and the Christmas pudding dessert. We both agreed that the turkey was the best we’ve both ever eaten. Neither of us are huge turkey fans and I only eat it once a year at Christmas and generally regret it. We were served one thick slice of turkey each, in a stack with stuffing and a Yorkshire pudding, so we both anticipated to experience a mouthful of dry meat. How wrong we were; it was succulent and moist (yes I said that word). The food came out a good pace and the service from the lovely Courtney, our waitress, was great. The ambience of the pub is perfect for Christmas so we’re definitely going back again.”

“What a fun place to stumble upon whilst driving past. The staff dress up in cowboy outfits and the Halloween decor was really fun the kids loved it. Good food, kids enjoyed the pizza and the burgers were tasty. Refillable drinks is good too. It is on the pricier side.”
