“Let me start by saying how friendly and courteous the staff are at the Singapore Kitchen in Hove and when it comes to the food, we will only buy a takeaway Chinese from the Singapore Kitchen. All of the dishes we’ve ordered from them have been absolutely delicious. We are a family of four who cook almost everything from scratch ourselves and therefore any takeaways we have, have to be exceptional, and they certainly are! I write this review just after ordering my next take away from them. Thank you!”

“A Brighton institution, and legendary burger bar that I have been coming to since I arrived in Brighton in 2021, been a regular at the Carden branch for 15 years. Food is solid, reliably well made, very tasty, adequately portioned and great value for money. Burgers are very meaty, decent chips, and nice milkshakes. If it wasn’t great, we wouldn’t keep coming back. The recent makeover looks really good too.”

“Apart from delicious fish and chips and roasts and great service, it’s a very friendly and diverse place, everybody feels welcome and safe here - very child and dog friendly. Out of 3 pubs in Marina - Master Mariner is always our choice. Fantastic place to stop for meal or drink any time of the day or watch sport on a large TV screen. Always a real fire on a cold day Without exaggeration - this place is a part of Brighton’s history”

“Fantastic service from the amazing staff, especially the bar/reception teams. I requested a room with easy access and they accommodated me in room 5, which had (appart from 1 small step) level access. Lovely bar and reasonably priced drinks, I had the nachos which were outstanding. A few small gripes: They do not supply any toiletries. The TV is quite small. Bar closes at 22:00. Otherwise, flawless and highly recommended.”

“Our first time staying at this old gem. It was arranged for a special birthday of mine, delayed by a year due to my partner having emergency surgery a year ago. It did not disappoint and we cannot thank the staff enough. We had the most amazing sea view room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The friendliness and service from all staff was fantastic. Special thanks to Connor who has not been at the hotel long but whose customer care and service could not be bettered. He is a real asset to the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. He helped make our weekend go smoothly. We had my birthday meal in the hotel restaurant, The Wardroom, for 10 of us. The food was exceptional, as was the service. Thanks to Stan for that. All in all, a birthday to remember. I cannot recommend the hotel more highly.”

“This isn't your trendy-overpriced-pretentious instagram venue with annoying queues. Just a great menu, decent portion sizes and fantastic flavours from an unobtrusive traditional ramen bar. If you want superb ramen authentically served as you'd get from a genuine Japanese ramen diner then you can't get much better than this place.”

“Just celebrated my daughter's 18th at the Prince Albert St restaurant and have to give a special shout-out to the lovely Hannah, our Server for the evening, who really went above and beyond to make our meal as enjoyable as possible. From the moment she greeted us at the door, she was all smiles, helpful manner and was happy to chat with me about tattoos!! She even arranged for one of our meals to be repackaged into take-away containers when one of our party had to leave early unexpectedly. Food was great - and even the manager (sorry didn't catch his name) popped over to have a chat with us about the footie match that night (!!) - plus of course to see how our evening was going! A really friendly atmosphere and truly great service. Recommend!”

“I just love kebabs , so m a regular customer at GDK, Brighton, the food is always good amd price quite competitive. This time also visited on 21st October and had great experience due to amazing service from Sheikh. He welcomed us with a warm smile (which was always missing), suggested food and also took our feedback after dining. Great service”

“Brazilian BBQ served on swords endlessly along with a side bar of other foods from meatballs, lasagne, onion rings and chips. Great drink selection, had a sweet strawberry lemonade that hit the spot just right. Overall atmosphere was very chill, staff super friendly however the red/green card they give you was kinda small so if you go make sure it's visible”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights with my friend. We were bowled over with Michael & Paul’s top class hospitality, friendliness & attention to detail. Beautiful room with a comfy bed & everything you could ever need including phone chargers, umbrellas even plug adapters . Lovely guys & I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Brighton. 10/10”
