“Great place to stay! The rooms are freshly renovated and feel brand new. Super comfy bed and a small but cozy bathroom. The pub downstairs, owned by the host, has a great vibe with friendly locals. There are nice restaurants and a spar 2 in the same street. Bus stop right at the door takes you to the old town, or it's an easy 30-minute walk. The host was very responsive and even left us some Easter treats. We highly recommend staying here!”
“Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food was good. I had some "small bites" to share with my husband. All tasty and no complaints.”
“Very good food and very friendly staff”
“This is not a house! And it is not in trowbridge! But it's a lovely place to spend your eves! With no food to cook it does what a pub does best! Tasty drinks at tasty prices! You're going to find free pool! A free jukebox and very funny (albeit very very slightly racist) people! Sure it doesn't look incredible from the outside or the inside. But you're going to get a type of fun that expensive hipster bars just will not offer you!!”
“The Royal Crescent was a great stay. Lovely grounds, amazing service and just relaxing. So quiet it was refreshing.”
“Had an amazing meal at Thai Balcony in Bath. We went for the set menu (£36 per person) and it was excellent – loads of variety, really generous portions, and every dish was full of flavour. The curries were rich and aromatic, the stir-fry was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the starters were a great mix to share. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely too – cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a nice evening meal. Overall, brilliant value for money and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the UK. Definitely recommend if you’re in Bath!”
“One of the most traditional pubs in Bath, with a pleasant atmosphere and very peculiar barrel-shaped doors”
“A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.”
“Food was delicious. Staff and service were great. Really friendly. Could have done with a little bit more i enjoyed it so much - 1 floret of cauliflower cheese was too tight!”
“Small bar, but hugely welcoming. Was the perfect place to catch a couple of pints as I waited for my tour bus. Centrally located in the heart of Bath.”
“Excellent service, great food and good portion sizes. Sat out in the back garden in the sunshine, very pleasant.”
“Visiting Bath and very glad we came across this pub, first on Saturday and the place was buzzing (in part to a private function). Great selection of beers, food was lovely (fish & chips, carbonara). Came back again on the Sunday for the football, was quiet but great to watch the game. Favourite in Bath, will be back!”
“I held my retirement Party here on 22nd August. It was held outside in the marque. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety. The staff were really helpful, & brought out the food & drinks when we were ready. They kept the bottles of prosecco nice & cold. Thank you to the team.Regards Jacky.”
“Great pub, beer well kept, reasonable price given the location, darts, great live music on a Saturday night.”
“Stayed here a couple of times now. Fantastic service from the moment you arrive. Lovely rooms, great pub downstairs with entertainment, good food/drink selection and loads of board games you can take up to your room. Only a 15 min walk into the centre or a 5min taxi ride. Staff were fantastic. Will 100% stay again if we are back in the area.”
“Proper village pub in a lovely setting, with cosy rooms over the bar. Stayed here for a night whilst doing some walks of the surrounding area, enjoyed a couple of beers in a very friendly atmosphere, had a good (and quiet) night's sleep, followed by a hearty breakfast before setting off home. Would recommend to anyone planning on doing any walking in the area and looking for a place with character to bed down for a night or two.”
“My 1st visit to this pub on Saturday 4th of October.went to see live band & had a great evening.Band were great.locals very friendly & the 2 staff members were very efficient & really nice/helpful.Cheers.”
“A 2 part bar with a pool lounge one side and a proper high stool bar in the other. They have 2 great tables at a pound each for pool, open mic nights on Tuesdays and a dart board that's free to use! Nice selection of drinks and a great comedy club in the basement. One of my go-tos for a night out in Bath every time.”
