“I haven't had such a delicious cappuccino in a long time! The cheesecake I tried was absolutely amazing—creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The Coffee Place is a wonderfully clean, cozy, and welcoming café with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Thank you for a lovely time—I will definitely be coming back!”
“We stayed in a triple room with a private bathroom on the first floor. A very cozy place, very clean and with a very good breakfast. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful and just a few minutes from the center of Bath. Very good willingness to serve customers on the part of the place managers.”
“Really warm welcome from the two ladies. “Real” hot chocolate was absolutely amazing. Bacon and cheese pastry was really delicious. Bonus was our dog getting some treats. Will definitely be back.”
“Great filter coffee. Not a lot of seating inside but gets the job done. Very friendly baristas and high quality brews.”
“Sooo good! Great coffee and amazing biscoffee slice. Friendly staff.”
“Had a order for 20 plus people. Everything went to plan. Everyone's order was packed and labelled individually. Delivered on time with no hiccups. The food was fantastic as it always is. I would highly recommend this curry house.”
“Visited a few times. Although it's always had other people there, I've been served straight away and not had to wait. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Drinks have been made as requested and tasted great.”
“A great spot for brunch! The café is spacious with beautifully designed interiors. I had the Royale Stack, and the portion was satisfying. The dish was well-seasoned and balanced with some fresh greens. The pancakes were soft with a slight chew, and had a lovely milky flavor. Really enjoyed both the food and the coffee!”
“I had a mac n cheese bowl and one of their many ridiculous matcha flavours (hot matcha with caramel). It was all very delicious and the staff are lovely. Had a seat in the corner. It is a bit noisy and is mostly 2 seater tables, not loads of comfy seating. I did go at a busy time.”
“We generally stop at this little cafe when we do our local food shopping in North Street. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is pretty prompt. There's inside & outside seating and you can usually find a table. The coffee is reliably good. We sometimes have brunch/lunch and have always enjoyed eating here. The menu changes periodically and whilst there's no 'traditional' breakfast, the choices are always interesting. Food is freshly prepared, hot & tasty and usually has lots of fresh herbs. Sausage rolls are good too!”
“Very good coffee. If you are having the coffee in I confirm that it is served in porcelain cups (I confirm that because some previous reviews may suggest that is not the case and actually nearly put us off going to this cafe. Luckily we decided to try it anyway). We were very pleased with our cappuccinos and particularly enjoyed the custard pies (custard in filo pastry) which were warmed for us and cut up into manageable bites. Nice friendly staff - good atmosphere. We will certainly return.”
“Amazing coffee and sandwiches! Fresh sourdough baked onsite and both the egg mayo and roasted veg sandwich fillings were super fresh! Lemon cake was also amazing! Really good cafe in a cool spot south of town”
“Cute coffee shop that has a cozy and local feeling to it. The flat white was delicious and well-made, being very light and smooth.”
“Convenient stop for taking a break from cycling down bristol and bath railway path. Bike parking available just outside the coffee shop. Very nice match latte and granola. The place was decent and clean. Definitely will visit again.”
“I have a delivery from the mango house and first everything was packing perfectly then I was impressed for the quality and quantity of the food it was only for me and it seems like for two or three persons. I really like the share dish and the Bread is hay they add to my order. Really recommend!”
“Very good efficient, friendly service. Good provision of vegan produce - the soy latte was smooth and the vegan carrot cake even better. Very good VFM & definitely visiting again!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lunch well spent! Stopped by Heather’s Café on my lunch break after calling through an order for a jacket potato — and it was ready and waiting when I arrived! Super convenient and perfect timing. The potato itself was generously filled and came with a decent-sized side salad, which was a nice touch. Tasty, satisfying, and great service. Will definitely be back!”
“From the smell as you go in you can tell that the coffee is going to be good. I had a really nice latte that was more on the strong end with woody and slight caramel notes. For £3.75 it feels pretty steep and I wanted to hate it but actually do rate the coffee. Service was friendly. The decor is simple but nice with plenty of light. I did also like that they had a coffee flavour wheel on the wall that I could look at while trying my coffee too.”
“Delicious hot chocolate. Ordered a large and a small for a total of 7.5£ i think. Totally worth it. It was a lovely weather, we sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks.”
“Staff were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. A great variety including for vegetarians. Bed very comfortable. Beautiful lounge. If ever I'm back in Bath I will definitely stay here.”
“A beautiful little jem of a setting, adorned with butterfly’s upstairs, very welcoming to us and our dog. The food and drinks came out very promptly. The homemade scones and sweet potato soup where delicious and the sandwich was a savoury delight. Complementary dog treats and lovely service, everything homemade .Cannot recomend enough!”
“Call in here if over this side of town. Nice local cafe, very nice! much appreciated. Would always call here and yes parking very easy nearby for non walkers and non cyclists. Shellards Rd bus stop right nearby also.”
“Great little cafe. Food quality is really good and reasonably priced too. Tried lots of things on the menu now and they are all great. Well worth a visit.”
“I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst working in Bath. Beautiful setting, rooms are very spacious and homely. The staff couldn't have done more to make our stay better. I will definitely return for a stay with the Family! Thanks to all at Waterhouse!”
“We found Bristol Twenty through the Great Taste awards list and have ordered from them a couple of times now. Their coffee beans are exceptional! All of the variations we have tried have a really nice taste. They will be our go-to coffee supplier for the foreseeable future!”
“It is a amazing place with great services. It's closed to Bristol airport. The building has a unique style, make you feel like you are in other century. The bed is really comfortable and the food amazing. I would like to go there in other time. Thank you very much.”
“Beat coffee shop. Great bacon and egg rolls. Great coffee and hot chocolate. Lovely staff.”
“Lisa is a lovely host, so friendly and so attentive making sure we had everything we needed - it really felt like she added a nice personal touch to everything about the place, and she's willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a perfect stay. She was more than happy to arrange an early check-in for us which was a life saver for our plans. Immaculately clean, modern and cosy, the best facilities you could ask for (amazing shower, Smart TV, mini fridge, snacks & drinks, fan etc), and we both felt the bed was the comfiest we'd ever slept in! Good location also - never difficult to book an Uber/taxi and not far from the airport or city/train station. I can't think of any improvements I'd suggest whatsoever. Really can't fault this place, it's everything we needed and more! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone :)”
“Lovely little coffee van! Amazing vegan and gluten free options for cakes and great non dairy options for drinks too. Great staff! Will definitely be visiting again :)”
“Lyn and Franky's property is a great place to stay, if you're visiting Cheddar, and the wider region around Somerset and North Devon. The guest house is a really decent size for 2 people, is well laid out and has all the amenities you would expect. The property is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cheddar, as well as a range of pubs and restaurants. Lyn provided great recommendations for places to visit and where to go for dinner. In the morning you're served a homemade breakfast using ingredients from the surrounding farms and local shops. Highly recommended!”
