βWe visited Castle Farm for Sunday lunch for the second time and it was fantastic again! The food was plentiful, delicious, and perfect for sharing, and the team were so friendly. The sticky toffee pudding was honestly the best Iβve ever tasted! Weβre already eyeing up one of their curry nights or Malaysian brunches, as weβve heard amazing things. An absolute must try!!!β
βPopped in while traveling. Arrived not too long after opening and were seen immediately. All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food we had was out of this world and everything we saw others ordering looked just sublime. We had the swordfish which melted in the mouth and everything comes with veg and both roast and dauphinoise potatoes. If you have the chance to eat here, do so you will not regret it.β
βA great little spot in Wotton! A friendly welcome from restautanters who really care. We went in on Monday Mexican Night with a small menu that was spot on. Great flavors and if I was local I would be back! Thank youβ
βWhat a find! A gorgeous intimate restaurant in the centre of Cheltenham, quietly serving up some of the best food in the area. There were several of us so we had most of the menu between us and every single dish was a winner! The wine list is brilliant and the house sparkling wine is divine! The service was utterly charming and we felt very looked after. Thank you!β
βSuch a lovely and calm place with a friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely excellent!β
βWe ate here while waiting for our tyre to be changed after getting a puncture on our way to our holiday destination. The food was delicious and the service was great. Thanks for making our pitstop enjoyable!β
βI have tried many kebabs out of there but let me tell you that this is right there as top kebab shops not just for its quality but quantity as well The fries were crispy and the taste of chicken or doner is so good.it is conveniently located near double tree hotel and walkable from Aztec west bust stop. You can always park and order a takeaway. Order via just eat or deliveroo or Uber eats are not possible as they *cash only* but they let you order ahead. But still I feel it's worth taking that walk for the stomach filling yummy kebab..it has high hygiene rating too but I wish they can give more dishes than current varieties and deliver too...β
βFantastically fresh seafood, really tasty with a nice spicy flavour to some of the dishes, Friendly and welcoming hospitality. Would have stayed longer but didnβt book rooms locally- will definitely do that next time. Didnβt have time to take more of a selection of photos, we were too busy eating!β
βLovely meal! We went for lunch and enjoyed the Saturday Lunch set menu which was great value. The wine and selection of Wiper & True beers was also excellent.β
βSimple menu but the food did not disappoint. Experienced the shared starters followed by shared 500g sirlion Hereford steak with fries and salad. Terrific. Deserts were e excellent and finished off the evening perfectly.β
βWe had a truly exceptional dining exeperience. It was our anniversary dinner, my husband requested we have a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival which was very kindly prepared for us. The occassion was acknowledged throughout our meal, with a βhappy anniversaryβ message on our dessert plates. Such a lovely touch. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowleadgeble, we felt very well looked after. We started with the selection of breads with soft basil butter. It was a great variety of fresh bread and breadsticks. We both had the scallops for our starters, a nice mix of well balanced flavours and excellent nduja! The mains (duck, venison) were perfectly cooked medium rare with lovely sauces and flavours. The only item we would skip next were the confit potatoes, which unfortunately were undercooked and did not have much of a taste to them. Our desserts were a tiramisu and the pistachio eggnog mousse, both perfectly light and not too sweet but well balanced. We finished our meal with limoncello (as you do). Everything was top quality and full of flavour. The wine selection was interesting, great variety especially on the bottled special wine list, with very reasonable prices. We went with their recommendations for each meal and the pairings they suggested were great. The restaurant is on the smaller side and the table we were seated was on the smaller end, however this did not take away from the enjoyment. We could tell how serious they take their food, service and customers. The restaurant is expensive but you get what you pay for. We canβt wait to be back.β
βSuper friendly cook, excellent food and portion for a reasonable price.β
βThis place continues to be the best fine dining experience around. The menu is compact and exquisite and everything is cooked to perfection. The wine list is very comprehensive and advice is offered on pairing with the menu. All in all the best place to eat in Thornbury.β
βWe tried Domaine16 for their Bottomless Raclette. Itβs safe to say I definitely over indulgedβ¦ The new potatoes were absolutely delicious on their own, let alone with melted cheese on top. The meats and pickles on the charcuterie board was also really tasty. We had a side of baguette and even that was delicious. Service was impeccable and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We finished with the chocolate fondue which was also delicious.β
βAbsolutely excellent customer service, yummy sandwiches but it would be great if they had more vegan/dairy free options.β
βSuper cozy and tasty coffee shop! we had a weekend breakfast and it was super fresh and tasty!! Super fast and friendly staffs :)β
βFantastic family run business, fish and chips are great and Nickyβs homemade chilli is back! All cooked to order and super fresh. So lucky to have such a great take-away in the village.β
βWe all had a fantastic evening at the Pear Orchard (The Hollow) Myself and my siblings arranged a surprise Anniversary for our parents 55 years! The evening was perfect in every way. Highly recommend venue. The memories we made and the fun we had in a hidden gem in Kingston Seymour will be treasured forever. A special thank you to Ed Catherine Mia and the team along with my lovely family who helped me to make this happen. Forever greatful Jo xxxxβ
βIt was my first time eating at Kasbah Grill and I canβt describe how incredible the food tasted - bursting with flavour and so colourful too! You can tell itβs freshly made with perfect spices, will definitely be coming back! The owners were chatty and super friendly too, see you soon!β
βMy sister and I came here for some lunch prior to visiting an event. With such a pleasant atmosphere and amazing food, I feel this deserves a 5 star review. We were served by a beautiful, young lady named Aylin. She was ever so kind and welcoming, making our experience all the more satisfactory. All of the staff present are very customer focused. There was chilled music playing in the background of the lovely, relaxed dining area. We ordered the meze and the dishes were served in a very timely manner and tasted absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I really enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. Dessert options really caught my eye, and we were not disappointed! They tasted phenomenal; particularly the Baklava which I would definitely try again. Would recommend this excellent Greek bar and restaurant to anybody in Bristol :)β
βAbsolutely divine food and fantastic service. Definitely recommend the 5 course tasting experience.β
βBest kebab I have eaten, ever!! Great food, good portion sizes and friendly serviceβ
βSecond visit and a second delightful evening. Interesting menu and entirely different from our last visit. I tried the non-alcoholic flight this time and it didn't leave me feeling like I'd missed out, just like they promise. Interesting and well paired with the dishes.β
βWe recently celebrated my partner's 50th birthday with an unforgettable private dining experience, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The food was simply divine. The meatball starter was nothing short of *orgasmic*βevidenced by the appreciative noises around the table, just packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chicken main was tender, juicy, and bursting with deliciousness, while the coffee Panna Cotta was a decadent dessert to die for, with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The drinks flowed seamlessly all night, keeping everyone in high spirits, but what really made the evening special was the chef. Not only was the food outstanding, but the chef himself was a true characterβengaging, entertaining, and brought a fun, personal touch to the whole evening. It was an evening of amazing food, great drinks, and endless laughter, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate such a milestone. Highly recommend for anyone looking to create a memorable dining experience with friends and family!β
βThe doner meat was incredinble definly nΜeed to try this spot defintaly worth it the moneyβ
βLovely authentic Moroccan food! 10/10. Great seating too.β
βSimply one of the best Middle East food I ever had, really authentic, simple and tasty!β
βThe Dining Room at Whatley Manor is a must for any foodies out there. The tasting menu by Ricki Weston is the best weβve had for many many years. A big thank you to Connor (a wise head on young shoulders) and Matt for looking after us. We would also recommend the wine pairing as it does complement and balance some of the dishes and addresses a couple of comments from other reviews. Itβs important to have the complete package.β
βAn amazing place with extremely tasty fresh food and a great selection of craft beer. We had dinner one night then went for breakfast the next day and kept coming back. After trying a few other places in Portishead, this is definitely our favorite. Our kids loved it as well.β
βWe went on a Friday morning, we donβt live in Bristol but we met my daughter and she suggested going here for breakfast as she does live in Bristol and had heard about it. and we were travelling to London flying to New York. The lady who served us at the till was very helpful and when I asked about gluten free she knew the answers and asked if I was celiac or allergy and noted it on the til. The food arrived and the four of us all loved the breakfast, it is the best breakfast I have ever had. We all said the sausage, the bacon and even the toast were so nice/ the lady who cleared the table asked what we were doing that day and we told her we were going to New York and she was very friendly and chatty with us too. My daughter will definitely go back again with her partner and we will return when we visit them. Amazing food and service.β
