“We lucked into the most magical day on our Cotswolds tour with Chris as our guide! What to say? We were excited for it but the tour so exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. Chris brought us to several villages-- and on the fly curated the trip around our expressed interests and those of the additional guest (who was also an amazing human and like a friend by the end of the tour!). He is unbelievably knowledgable. But what sets Chris apart is the way he distills complex history into an understandable story that very quickly facilitates enhanced appreciation for the deep significance of these places beyond their obvious beauty. I took pages of notes and came away with an intense desire to learn more about the place and British history. As an added bonus, Chris is funny, witty, helpful, kind, and interested. He is passionate about history and traveling and that all just enhanced is story telling. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Chris for that gift. On the more business like side-- pick up was prompt, van was great, water appreciated, tea and lunch spots authentic and wonderfully charming. So fresh that you can see them baking the bread before putting the toppings in it! “Scruffy but who cares. Unpretentious. It's where I get my bananas! They are basically a veggie shop but sell lots of other things that are good for you (though you may have to scramble over a sack of potatoes or a person to get to them). Now I come to think of it they carry an amazing lot of stuff, from said bananas to frozen meals (posh ones) to bread to aubergines. Lots of organic food/veggies. I like it very much.”

“tldr; Absolutely Brilliant. Great service, high quality work and totally fair and honest. My wife and I have used these guys for services and MOT's for several years and have recommended them to friends - they are great. I don't normally go in for submitting reviews but my experience today just highlighted how good they are so felt I should contribute. My car failed it's MOT today on an issue that will cost a lot to put right, but rather than just booking it in they recommended that I approach the manufacturer as they've seen other examples of this issue recently. I've contacted the main dealer and now I'm booked in for an assessment to see whether it will get fixed for free (or subsidised). If it turns out that I will still need to pay full whack to get the repair done then I will of course bring the business back to Bristol and Bath Car Services but if not then they have sacrificed a significant sum of money by going above and beyond in their customer service. Experience already told me that they deliver the highest standards of work, but the honesty, integrity and care for their customer they showed today should be an example to any business.”

“Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?”
