βMorrisons is a solid, well-stocked supermarket that offers a great balance of quality and value. The fresh produce is usually top-notch, and their bakery and deli counters are always inviting. I appreciate the wide aisles and clear signage, which make for an easy and relaxed shopping experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, whether you need assistance or a quick chat at the checkout. Their cafΓ© is also a nice bonus if you fancy a bite after shopping. Overall, a dependable stop for all your weekly essentials.β
βMost of my shopping was able to find in store seems to be priced in line with other supermarketsβ
βExcellent customer service from Rich. He found the chicken drumsticks I wanted.β
βThe staff, Morgan, is very professional and helpful in advising us to buy bike for our kid.β
βI took a family member to BrisDoc in Weston. Very impressed with Dr Andrew Bull, very intelligent, patient and friendly. Our waiting time was only 10mins.β
βGreat service. The driver was on time and so polite. The car was clean and the driver was very engaging! I Would highly recommend! Will be using again, thank you very much Cole Cabs.β
βThey are very good but always very very busyβ
βHad an issue with a collection order that didn't work properly and wasn't received. The chap inside was running the place alone and was really accommodating and helpful and managed to get my order sorted.β
βI visited this Morrisons Cafe with two dear friends on the 8th January 2022, and was absolutely delighted by the experience. As a lifelong lover of Morrisons Cafes, this visit certainly did not disappoint (unlike my visit to the Morrisons Cafe in Hartcliffe, which can only be described as gutting). The man on the till on this particular afternoon was so lovely and deserves appreciation for his fantastic service. Our food came quickly and was clearly made with care - the toast was spellbinding and all of our eggs were cooked to perfection. We sat by the window, listened to the great tunes playing overhead, and for a little while, all was right with the world. Thank You Morrisons Cafe Fishponds.β
βPerfect place to stay when visiting friends gor the weekend. We even found the quick route to it without using the motorway. Soft comfortable beds, I had a wonderful night's sleep.β
βThis was very busy, but the food was great - nothing special but very tasty and lots of it! Plenty of room both inside (with tv screens, it was match day and the footy was on) or outside on the water front, where we sat with the dogs. Great bar with lots of drinks to choose from. It was noisy and busy with the footy on, but it was all good natured bantering. You canβt go wrong here for this type of food!β
βJust bought a new dishwasher & fridge freezer with Nathan who couldn't have been more helpful if he'd tried. I've used this shop a number of times over the years and everyone always seems really happy to work there. Nathan was highly representative of how friendly, personable, efficient and amenable the whole team here has always been each time I've visited. Great service... thanks so much!β
βTahiya is amazing at her job. Great customer skills. And food always on point. Thanks for your service. We will always be backβ
βOne thing that is important to my family is consistency and that's why my eldest prefers this Macdonald's to any other. She gets her nuggets and chips and they're the same every time! When we use the drive through the staff are always great and seldom is there anything missing with my picky children and wife customising their orders. When we order via just eat though there have been multiple occasions where something has been missing or the custom requests have been wrong. Which is odd... Big shout out to one of the managers, a young girl with blonde hair who has always made sure we have got what we wanted and they everything is ok and also one of the younger girls with brown hair who's been on the drive thru on a few of our visits makes sure everything we've said is double checked. My family are difficult and I appreciate that they don't mind how particular they are!β
βPopped in to your restaurant between 9-10 pm and ordered some late dinner place was quiet inside and about 7 cars in drive thru the guy (chubby curly hair beard and glasses ) cleaning was really professional and a hard worker I usually pop in every 2 days and every time I have the guy has been working hard well done to him truly deserves team member of the week/monthβ
βGood food, good service. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Food was of a good standard and presented well. The drinks were tasty! Price is okay for what you get, after all, it is Friday's. Tables were clean and there is good social distancing measures in place. Booking a table is recommended as lots of the tables have been cut off. We had much better service here than we did at Cribbs! We would definitely use this one from now on.β
βThe Beefeater Frome Flyer is in a really convenient spot, just a short walk from Gracie Barra Frome Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which makes it our go-to place to grab a bite after training. The team often pops in after classes, and itβs always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is a real highlightβgreat value, plenty of choice, and perfect after a tough morning session on the mats! Consistently good service, decent portion sizes, and a nice place to relax with the team after training. Highly recommend if youβre in Frome, whether for a casual meal or a post-training breakfast.β
βI like this place because it is bigger than my old school and has a lot more new lessonsβ
βBest kebabs in Bristol easily. Good portion sizes allways hot and cooked to perfection! The Β£25 kebab box is a absolute must!β
βNever overcrowded, easy parking. ATM, car cleaning, toilets and now a new petrol station almost ready. Friendly staff and always have enough choice of food and non food items.β
βThe bacon and sausage roll I had was greatβ
βI always go in, rather than drive through, cos I always want a wee. Too much info? Despite being busy, they know their customers. My coffee is always made for me when I reach the counter. Can you visit too much?β
βCO-OP is an excellent store that never disappoints! Despite being a chain, it always feels local and welcoming. The shelves are consistently stocked with fresh produce, quality groceries, and everything you need for daily shopping. The staff are polite, efficient, and always ready to help, which makes the shopping experience so much better. Plus, CO-OPβs focus on sustainability and support for local suppliers is truly commendable. A reliable and trustworthy place to shopβhighly recommended!β
βJake is great. would recommend. 10/10β
βI had such a great time seeing TSHA play last night, Drink prices were very reasonable served by super friendly staff. No issues with tickets, bouncers were cool, and it had a great crowd. I would highly recommend.β
βFantastic service. Google advertise they shut at 9pm. Arrived at 8.30pm. Shop is closed. Apparently they do close at 8pm Monday to Saturday. Lady running the shop could not apologise enough then continued to serve me. Amazing. Do yourself a favour and go here..... Not the blackhorse garage subway that so say is open 24hrs. It is the shell garage and budgrens only.β
βSofa shopping, letβs be honest, is the single most exhausting pastime known to humankind. Forget marathons, childbirth, or Brexit negotiations, nothing will drain your soul quite like trudging around Cribbs Causeway with your wife, looking at a thousand slight variations of padded rectangles. The problem isnβt really the sofas themselves (although God knows some of them look like theyβve been upholstered in the skin of a startled badger). The problem is sofa shock. That moment when you realise youβre expected to lower yourself onto yet another beige monstrosity, nod appreciatively, and then get back up again, only to repeat the process across an entire retail park. It is, in fact, a tidy little paradox. The longer you sit on a sofa, the more comfortable it becomes, but in direct correlation, your will to live diminishes. Ten minutes in DFS and youβll happily fork out for a beanbag. Twenty minutes in SCS and youβre thinking, βDo we even need furniture? Couldnβt we just squat, like medieval peasants?β Now, sofa shopping is not something you do regularly. Despite what the shops would like, itβs not a jaunty every-three-years affair. No. This is a once-in-a-decade blood pact, like renewing your passport. The evidence is right there, jammed down the side of our current sofa: a Radio Times from 2002. David Tennant wasnβt even Doctor Who yet. So, in a moment of male genius (read: cowardice), I sent out a search party in advance, namely, my wife. She produced a shortlist of sofas she liked. Which, as is the way of these things, meant a shortlist of sofas I liked. My role was not to choose but to greenlight. Itβs marriage, not democracy. And thenβ¦miracle of miraclesβ¦ we walked into SCS Sofas, Cribbs Causeway, and I saw one. A sofa I actually liked. βWhat about that one?β I ventured, expecting to be told it was the wrong size, wrong shape, wrong vibes. Instead, my wife said: βThatβs the one I like.β Bullβs-eye. Done. Sofa harmony achieved. Except of course it wasnβt done. Oh no. You donβt just βbuyβ a sofa. You must choose colours, sizes, shapes, cushions, protection, and payment schemes that appear to have been devised by Goldman Sachs. But, and hereβs the real kicker, we were rescued by Sophie. Brilliant Sophie. Patient, charming, efficient Sophie, who not only explained it all without the faintest trace of judgment, but even handwrote the dimensions for us. By this point I was so delirious that I nearly nodded off right there on the showroom floor. Which, in a way, is the highest compliment you can pay a sofa. So yes, thank you Sophie. Thank you SCS. Thank you, sofa gods, for ending the torment. We are now the proud owners of a new sofa, which will no doubt survive until the 2040 Olympics and still contain the fossilised remains of 2025βs iPhone cables.β
βGreat housing/conveyancing team especially Morgan! Morgan was very helpful and communicative, answered our questions quickly and helped us keep on track (e.g reminding us when we had documents to return). She did everything she could to get the sale and purchase done quickly and was friendly and professional both by email and on the phone. The Watkins solicitors app is user-friendly and helped us input all the information we needed to, so that aspect was made easier. Overall I would highly recommend Morgan and the Watkins solicitors conveyancing team.β
