“Like stepping back to a simpler, nicer time. This is how pubs used to be. You can actually sit at the bar on a stool! Reasonably priced beer and attentive service. If you are just looking for a pint and a nice atmosphere this is the place.”

“First time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didn’t struggle with parking, yes £15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, I’ve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didn’t sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorable”

“We are Malaysians and to see some of the items such as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Rendang Beef and Nasi Goreng on the Menu is so heart warming. We ordered the Mapo Tofu, Fried Fish Rice Noodles in Creamy Broth, and Fried Pork Chop Curry and Rice, all were delicious, however the Mapo Tofu isn't to our taste. We might go for some other items on the menu as there are plenty to choose from. The portions are generous. My son who had the Pork Chop finished his plate very quickly, and he said its very tasty. “Very authentic Asian food. Tried Singapore fried noodles and Prawn crackers, and stir fried prawns with asparagus, and crispy toffee apple the other night. Staffs are friendly and attentive, also very reasonably priced.”

“A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.”

“Beautiful meal with wonderful service. The mixed drinks were done well. The desserts were well prepared and yummy, especially the almond and fig tart. The aubergine appetizer was wonderful too.”

“I was walking along the Kennet and Avon Canal from Bradford on Avon to Bath, enjoying the spring sunshine. When I came across this delightful cafe at Monckton Combe, I had a lovely wedge of coffee and walnut cake, with a cup of my favourite chai latte tea, which was equally good The whole stretch of my walk along the canal was absolutely fantastic seeing all the narrow boats or barges, whichever is the correct definition The railway line to Bath is adjacent to the canal Being largely rural, always ensure that you are physically capable. There are not many exits off the path But if you are excited to experience this wonderful Also, enjoy the Tythe Barn in Bradford on Avon”

“Visiting Bath and very glad we came across this pub, first on Saturday and the place was buzzing (in part to a private function). Great selection of beers, food was lovely (fish & chips, carbonara). Came back again on the Sunday for the football, was quiet but great to watch the game. Favourite in Bath, will be back!”

“I held my retirement Party here on 22nd August.It was held outside in the marque. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety. The staff were really helpful, & brought out the food & drinks when we were ready. They kept the bottles of prosecco nice & cold. Thank you to the team.Regards Jacky.”

“So so good!!! One of the best pistachio croissants I’ve ever had. Also got a yummy beef and potato pasty and a chocolate croissant swirl bread. They have quite a big selection of other pastries as well. Highly recommend if you’re in Bath.”

The coffee was good, flat white as usual but impressed me most was the sourdough toast, best I've had for quite a while, loose butter not fiddly little packs and more than enough for the 4 half slices. Check out the full menu which are brunchy. Polite service with a smile.”

“This apartment exceeded my expectations! From its layout to its elegant decor, it felt like home. Not only it’s beautifully furnished, but the location is unbeatable- just a quick stroll and you’re in heart of the city. Whether I was heading to the Roman Baths or grabbing a coffee, everything was within an easy reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.”

“This is not a house! And it is not in trowbridge! But it's a lovely place to spend your eves! With no food to cook it does what a pub does best! Tasty drinks at tasty prices! You're going to find free pool! A free jukebox and very funny (albeit very very slightly racist) people! Sure it doesn't look incredible from the outside or the inside. But you're going to get a type of fun that expensive hipster bars just will not offer you!!”

“Parked up for the night in a lay-by on the a419 thus is the only place i could get to deliver to me the chicken chow main was piping hot and very tasty and the sweet and sour chicken balls was very nice will definitely eat from here again oh and thank you for the prawn crackers I loved thm”
