“Had an emergency dental appointment today. Was absolutely dreading it due to the negative reviews but I can assure you, I had the best experience.Please don't let these reviews put you off. First off the receptionist was lovely,very friendly and helpful. Then I saw 2 lovely dentists (I'm sorry I didn't get their names) but I mentioned straight away that I was nervous and they were so nice and made me feel very calm. I would happily move my dentist to here permanently.Overall very good experience.”

“Today was my first visit to mydentist in staple Hill. Experience with my previous dentist was not great - he judged my teeth and was generally very rude and pushy! This was not my experience today! The receptionist, practice manager, dentist and dental nurse were incredibly friendly and empathetic with the pain I was in. I was well cared for and have come away with a manageable plan to fix my smile!! At the age of 38 - this has been the best dentaI practice I have ever visited!”

“I am a rather elderly patient who underwent a recent surgical procedure at RUH. This required ongoing dressing changes which I was advised of by the hospital, but which I felt increasingly concerned about dealing with. A call to the surgery resulted in an early appointment for a required dressing change. I cannot praise too highly the treatment I received. Please convey my grateful thanks to Vicky, who not only carried out the required procedure with utter professionalism, but also calmed my concerns over ongoing care. People knock the NHS, but my current experience at St Augustin's is exceptionally. Thank you.”

“What a wonderful dentist Isabel Ramires is! My autistic and ADHD child hated the dentist until we started seeing her. She is kind and knowledgeable whilst being friendly and through. She gets excited for dentist day now (Which is wonderful) Isabel really takes her time in explaining everything. And in a way that my child understands, and no longer feels any trauma seeing the dentist. I cant get an NHS space as an adult, but have already signed myself up with Isabel for my own cosmetic work after some sports injuries to my face. After some issues previously with desk staff being less than helpful, im pleased to say that Julie who we spoke to during our visit today was an absolute sweetheart.”

“I have been a patient at this practice for all my adult life (now 61). The staff on the desk have always been friendly but professional, taking time to get the appointments to suit me, including when I cracked my tooth, all sorted and repaired within a couple of days. But the main part of my review is about David Ash, my dentist. Lovely, friendly man, always puts you at ease before any treatment. It's not just your teeth he checks though. He checks your jaw and throat, tongue and over your face. And the last time I had an appointment he told me to get a spot checked on my forehead. My doctor booked an appointment with a specialist, who confirmed what Mr Ash knew right from the start, it's cancer. Easily treated, thank goodness, but thank you David for noticing something I hadn't really paid attention to, keep up the good work!”

“Excellent Surgery On Friday June 20th , to avoid the heat, I came indoors. A good chance to try the new triage system. I wished to request an appointment, in the future. I was wary BUT no need. I felt the new system worked well. Within 10 minutes I had a phone call from a Dr ,advising me of an appointment available in 30 minutes, if I could make it! Yes I could .That must be the quickest appointment in history. I totally understand this was a lucky chance but it can happen.”

“Wonderful dental practice. Friendly, and very kindly accommodate to my anxiety, playing the music I like during every checkup. My first visit was an extremely complicated surgery, which my dentist (Rami) was finding difficult as the tooth was not coming out, alonside being very close to a sinus. He stayed long after closing hours to get the tooth out, and when all else failed, he called one of the lovelist dentists from their sister practice (Dimitri), and he drove all the way over to Frampton to assist in the removal, which eventually got it out. Every visit is a lovely experience. I could not fault them any time!”
