“Our cats had their annual boosters and we went to the new Caerphilly Vet Practice in Castle View. What an amazing facility. It is modern, clean and well designed. It started with a warm welcome on reception from Sue and Tracy and then there was a special cat waiting area to help them feel safe. Lucy the vet treated our cats like they were her own and we felt they were in safe hands. We would recommend Caerphilly Vets.”

“This is a long standing barbers for males that is keenly priced that has barbers who have a few characters with strong but friendly personalities. Not as swanky as other newly opened barbers along the City Road stretch, but is usually busy unlike the others.”

“I have only just started using this vets .I took my rabbits in for check ups and a neutor. My poor cat then got unwell and valley vets was my choice of vets after seeing how kind and gentle gordan was with my rabbits .unfortunately diagnosis wasn't good and the rest of my beloved Jessie care was handled with Laura. Last night we gave our Jess her last kiss goodnight .laura and her staff were amazing and compassionate to not just the cat but to us her owners.i would 100% recommend these vets ! .”

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by really lovely friendly staff, who went out of their way for us, to make us & our puppy feel welcome & at ease. The vet was really nice. She explained everything to us & answered any questions we had. She was so good with our puppy. She put us all at ease practically straight away. “I’ve used this practice before for emergency out of hours treatment and they have always been wonderful. Two years ago they saved my cats life and I’m forever grateful to them. Two days ago I had to rush my boy back in at night there and sadly he didn’t make it. My partner and I were deeply traumatised but the staff were all brilliant, kind, compassionate and caring. I couldn’t have asked for better people around me during this very difficult time. “My two lurchers have stayed here a few times now. The kennels came recommended to me, but I was still a little nervous as one of my two can be quite unsure of other dogs - he loves them when he gets to know them, but can be quite barky initially as he's scared. I shouldn't have worried - he had a lovely time, came out not really fussed to see me, which I think is always a good sign, and next visit they both had their tails wagging and were really pleased to see the staff. Will definitely be visiting again!”

“My cat was registered with Beaconsfield Veterinary Clinic for most of his life. When he hurt his eye & developed an eye ulcer, their care & advice was first rate. The staff are compassionate & caring towards pets & owners. When my precious little cat got old, he attended several senior Cat Clinics & they were quick to identify health problems & offer advice. Sadly, when the time came & my precious boy was dying, the Veterinary Doctor advised me on when was the best time to let him go. Not only were they kind, humane & professional towards my boy, but they made sure I was comforted too. I have no regrets about any of the treatment they offered. They were always looking out for my pet's welfare & worked to ensure that he had a long & happy life. Some treatments, although potentially expensive, were always done with a full explanation of what was needed & why. I have no reservations about recommending this practice and I would like to thank them for their care of my beautiful cat.”

Both Jet (black lab) and Amber (sandy lab) looked like they felt comfortable with the whole visit. The vet and receptionist interacted with both dogs making them feel safe and welcome. “Just been to this vets for the first time as we are on holiday in Watchet and my sproker, Barney, had become unwell. They were amazing!! 5 star service. When I called at lunchtime, they were full but within minutes the lovely lady on reception called me back after they had a cancellation. Marj Edwards in particular has treated some of mine with homeopathy alongside conventional medicine, actually allowing my whippet, Rupert, to enjoy eleven comfortable months following a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2017. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Marj and also to Rhian who was so kind when I had to make the decision to have my greyhound, Wilson, put to sleep only four days after he became ill so suddenly. Of course I hope more than anything to see the practice reopen and will return immediately. However Marj Edwards will be a hard act to follow.
