“Had the large carvery delivered. Food arrived well packaged and there was plenty of it! Good selection of meat and vegetables, gravy served separately and the roasties.OMG!!! Some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend if you fancy a roast with all the trimmings without the hassle and washing up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“This is my local and since they added VindaLounge it's got better. Really nice staff, there's a great beer garden and whilst the range of beers is limited, it's very much like pubs used to be. I also like that the restaurant bit has been turned into an Indian restaurant. The curries are good and having hand pulled beer with them is even better!”

“Nice pub when inside very different to what I thought it was better cosy little sections to seat and have your meal also had outside garden the food came out very hot and I did enjoy my meal my friend had gluten-free meal food was great value for money £8.25 With a drink, lemonade or Pepsi staff were very nice and welcoming with a smile”

“I booked the private room for a family get together of 24 people. The team communicated really well in advance which was really reassuring. They were very attentive on the day. The person assigned to our service was really attentive and worked tirelessly and was very patient. The food was great. Thank you!”

“First visit as they had a singer on, found out via Facebook so it was a last minute decision. I had the best time ever considering this was an afternoon event. The keyboard vocalist was brilliant. “It was quiz night so the pub was busy, however not so busy that we could not enjoy our meal. A good friendly atmosphere. We’re were served by Mary, who was friendly and very helpful. She answered our questions about the food and helped us navigate the app … we ordered from our table. The food was good, standard pub meal, but was hot and tasty. Would definitely go here again for a mid week meal.”

“5 Stars – Great Food and Friendly Service! I recently had a lovely meal at Harvester and left genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a casual bite. I ordered the Classic Chicken Burger, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The portion size was generous, and it came with perfectly cooked chips and a fresh helping from the salad bar, which is always a great bonus at Harvester. What stood out most was the value for money and the attentive service throughout the meal. Everything felt well looked after, from the food to the cleanliness of the restaurant. If you’re after a hearty, satisfying meal in a comfortable setting, Harvester is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be returning soon!”

“Authentic Indian food with good service and beer. I have been here 3 times now and everytime the food and service has been excellent. The restaurant is separate from the bar and I strongly urge anyone who enjoys proper Indian food to try this place. We had the sharing platter with prawns to start with and then lamb keema, chicken curry madras hot, buttered chicken and prawn curry. Reasonably priced and hot plates with each course.”

The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. ​However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.”

“Went in on a Saturday afternoon, not too many people in but they had football on the tv and the bar staff was friendly so we ordered an all day breakfast 1 classic and 1 large. The food looked fantastic and was hot and well cooked with plenty on the plate ( compliments to the chef ). We will definitely be coming back here to eat again. They were funny, laughing, and had great banter with each other and us guests. It created a fantastic atmosphere—exactly what you need from a bar experience. The best part is that while they were joking around and making our time amazing, they were still incredibly efficient and managed to get everything done perfectly. The service was top-notch! We were a table of four and ordered the big platter, which was the best food ever! A huge thank you and shout out to the chef as well. Absolutely incredible experience all around. “Really good family pub. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I’m particularly impressed and I am here. Ticks all the boxes, play area, colouring and crayons for the kids. A decent pint, nice traditional but well kept decor with indoor and outdoor background music. The food is really good and incredibly cheap & great value. The icing on the cake is the staff and service. Young well mannered and helpful people who are a credit to the establishment. Well done, We’l definitely be back.”

“Fantastic place for drinks and food. Needed a new place to go for a drink after I've visited every pub and restaurants in Coventry. I drove from Cov to Rugby and I bet, I wasn't disappointed. Great setting, large space, fantastic staff, and great meal. Oh, and the streetside view is marvellous. I will be ungrateful not to mention the spacious car park they've got. I highly recommend this pub.”

Considering it was Sunday and fairly busy we didn't have to wait very long for our food. 3 clean plates. Would recommend. We go on a regular basis and it's always good.”

From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were looked after with a smile the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be coming back, and hope Gemma is there to serve us again. Highly recommend!”
