“Stayed five nights, and the room met my expectations and requirements, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Had breakfast 2 mornings, perfect meal. However, on the final morning, the waitress, to me, was not very friendly. All the other staff I saw were very friendly and helpful.”

“Superb! As we were staying at the Leonardo, Hinckley Island Hotel during the half-term school holidays. Pre-reserved a table for myself & my children at their Onsite Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. The food was served hot, tasty & prepared with perfection. I opted for starters & mains to come out together. The service we received by Alen & all of the staff was exceptional. The very friendly staff, ambience & atmosphere made us all feel very special.”

“We chose Delta Hotel by Marriott Forest of Arden Country Club to spend a very pleasant weekend. We had a wonderful experience from the Restaurant Cast Iron Bar&Grill. What needs to be mentioned is the behavior of the restaurant manager Mathew and assistant manager Aslam towards the customers. They were so humble and ready to help the customers to get a comfortable environment. And their team members are also to be commended.The food was fresh and delocious. The buffet option is also available from 6pm on Saturday's . We really enjoyed the food and its ambience. A must visit place for families and couples.”

“I have been to Lazy Monkey about 4 times now and each time has surpassed my expectations. I have been here alone, with my other half and with our two children and have enjoyed each experience as much as the last. The food is absolutely top quality for flavour, even the naan is mouth watering. The portions are perfect and every mouthful is delicious. The cocktails are superb. Fresh, flavoursome and well priced. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional and make you feel welcome every single time. The venue itself has a lovely, warm vibe and you instantly feel relaxed and the music always pleases. We may not get here as often as we would like but we enjoy every visit and always leave with good memories and wanting to come back.”

“I came here today with family. Car park is very small so parking can be a little difficult. We opted for the roast which was extremely tasty and hot. The food is very reasonably priced. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (it was nice but very sweet). Overall, I'd say this is a nice place that deserves a visit!”

“I visited the Half Moon for a wedding reception. The food was excellent and offered plenty of choices including vegetarian options. The staff were great and coped well with a very busy pub (as well as the usual Saturday night drinkers there were a lot of thirsty weddings guests). I’d certainly like to go back for a few pints on a regular Saturday.”

“This pub is a perfect stop of after a walk at Ryton Pools. It has a beer garden, restaurant and bar. We took our dog and so went to the bar. She was made very welcome and even given a treat. We had the lunch specials, the food portions were good and they were great value for money. We all really enjoyed our meals and service was brilliant too.”

“We went for two sharing platters between 5 people and a couple of side dishes, there was so much food! Everything very tasty. Drinks menu is great here including plenty of great options for those not drinking alcohol. Services on our visit was a little slow compared to the other restaurants I've visited, they might have been short on staff that night. Couldn't fault anything else.”

“As a low carb vegetarian with a gluten intolerance, it’s fabulous to find a restaurant flexible and obliging enough to adjust their offerings to my atypical needs. Whilst hubby tucked in to his ribs with fries, my halloumi was served minus the rice or fries, but with a lovely range of (extra veg). It was so good that I asked if the halloumi I couldn’t manage could be boxed and the very friendly and obliging staff did just that. It’s so refreshing to find this level of service. My only critique is that the decor could be smartened up a little, but that did not detract from our experience.”

“This is my local and since they added VindaLounge it's got better. Really nice staff, there's a great beer garden and whilst the range of beers is limited, it's very much like pubs used to be. I also like that the restaurant bit has been turned into an Indian restaurant. The curries are good and having hand pulled beer with them is even better!”

“Great local pub. Busy early evening, nice food, good atmosphere. Real fire in the winter. Sunday roasts have mostly been excellent. Very dog friendly so he's happy.”

“This is a wonderful wee pub. Legit had the best ploughman's I've ever had. Staff are all lovely and friendly and the garden is gorgeous. I'd already eaten the cheese and garlic bread before I took the picture.”

“Had a lovely impromptu stop over and the location off this hotel was ideal located near the motorway but with easy access to the trains into Birmingham centre via the NEC station. Hotel was great and excellent value. The spa had some maintenance issues but going down early morning meant was had it to ourselves. Would definitely stop here again if going to either the NEC or Birmingham.”

“We came for Sunday lunch yesterday and was hugely impressed. The quality and taste was fantastic. What I also liked was the fact you didn't have to pay for extras, it was one set price. Will definitely be coming back. We had the lamb and there was plenty of it :-)”

“Went here for my 50th birthday with my wife and two girls. Staff were wonderful and the food was great. Only dropped one star off the atmosphere as the restaurant was boiling in the unusually hot temperatures, I know it's not normal temps but a few fans may have helped.”
