“Can I just say Wow! We stayed here for our corporate away day on the 12th - 13th of November and It was fantastic. The events team helped me with every query, The price was fanatic with everything that was included. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the meeting space we used for our all day meeting was great, rooms were super comfy and the food was 10/10. We will be considering to stay here again for our next away day, highly recommend.”
“Went there for a cheerleading competition and it was really great with a big hall and lots and lots and lots of seats !!”
“A fantastic venue. The new manager, Rob, was fantastic with regards to his support and communication using the venue. The staff are excellent and the venue is top class. Thank you so much for a fantastic weekend.”
“Just joined 3 weeks ago. I've done a few of morning classes.. zumba, legs bums, tums & body tone. Done one evening class Clubbercise, which was challenging as I've no coordination, but it was fun. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Nice experience so far.”
“Historical,, large play area for young kids, tennis courts, plenty dog area hard standing outlines park for jogging walking”
“I really like Wyken Slough, any day of the year there are birds to be fed. I often see rare birds perched on logs protruding from the large pond. There are benches all a long the circumference of the pond, which allows for pit stops if needs be. The best part about this place, is the forraging. There is plenty to forrage, in the winter I was able to make jam from fresh damsons, bullace, rosehips, sloes and apples. If you venture into the overgrown trails beyond the pond, there is plenty to forrage and explore. I often see the odd burnt out abandoned motorcycle or trolley in bushes lol. Another good thing. is there are Horses to look at, you aren't allowed to feed them but if you go to the fence they will come and say hello. There are two distinct downsides to Wyken Slough, One: If you make the mistake of going during school pickup hours, the car park is absolutely packed and it's hard to get in or out, also people are all irritable. The only other issue, is youths on motorbikes and quad bikes like to use the field behind the pond as their track, when it rains you can see oil come up from the ground, in all the puddles. Not to mention the risk of anti-social behavior, although any sign of the police seems to make them leave. 4/5 :)”
“A peaceful place along the roads of Coventry. This is located near along the Humber road and is a widely spread area covered with greenery everywhere. The place is used by people to do cycling, exercise, jogging and walks. Pets are also allowed into this. Children can find swing, see-saw, etc as outdoor games. If you are a fitness freak then you got qum equipment in the open air and is not crowded too so you can use them almost at any time I can say. There is a table tennis court too in this park. Absolute place for peace of mind.”
“This is a beautiful small park with a charming lake in the middle that is home to a swan and her baby chicks and other species of ducks and geese.”
“Kids really enjoyed it. Easy to book and reasonable pricing. We went on a Saturday and was expecting it to be packed, but they keep the numbers at a sensible level. Food and drinks were nice enough, I've had much worse at other soft plays. Parking is ample and everything looked nice and clean. Would visit again.”
“This spacious green area near Nuneaton town center is a delightful place to visit, especially on sunny days. It offers scenic walking paths and features a small, free museum with a café, adding to its charm. Parking on-site is limited, but alternatives are available at Sainsbury's or the Ropewalk, though note that card payments may not be accepted. It's a great spot for a daytime outing or dog walking, but I would recommend avoiding it after dark.”
“Honestly one of the best Sunday Roasts going around Rugby to date! Partners burger was amazing too! It's been a good handful of years since I last went here but definitely going to be back!”
“One of my favorite parks in Coventry. It is in walking distance to the city centre and next to Bablake School, divided by an upper railroad and decorated by old storyteller, noble trees. The bird's pond is now under reconstruction, but its playgrounds and the fenced basketball and football yards are giving the same cosy leisure as always.”
“Lovely, spacious play area in a village location, with the special attraction of the "old tractor" for little people to play on.”
“Very professional and efficient courier, communication is fantastic and clear they will go the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction. Highly recommended.”
“Lovely walk today in the snow, even more beautiful when the sun broke through. I did not make the snowman so cannot take credit for it but many thanks to the young family we saw building it. It made us smile!”
“Great, old fashioned pub where the atmosphere is provided by the people. Bingo nights are a particular favourite and the beer is always decent. Probably the value place to drink in Coventry.”
“Resorts World, Birmingham is a compact lifestyle mall next to NEC, offering a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. While the retail options are limited to a few stores and boutiques, it’s the eateries and leisure spaces that stand out. Visitors can enjoy Miller & Carter Steakhouse, TGI Fridays, Zizzi, and Karaage. For fun, Hollywood Bowl provides a lively arcade and games arena, making it a convenient spot to relax after exhibitions or events.”
“The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.”
“Amazing club nothing wrong with it”
“I recently had my 55th birthday party here. The owner, staff and facilities were excellent! We were supported with organising the event, our wants and wishes and everything went to plan. All my guests commented on the venue, food, catering and DJ which were all recommended and planned through management staff. Thank you! I shall definitely be using you again. Satvir”
“Hey everyone! I've been going to the Allan Higgs Centre in Coventry for the past three months, and I'm thrilled to share my 5-star experience with you! The facilities are top-notch, with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, sports courts, a fully-equipped gym, and more. Everything is well-maintained and clean, allowing me to focus on my fitness goals. The staff is amazing, always ready to help with a smile. They've been an integral part of my fitness journey. The variety of activities offered at the centre is fantastic. Swimming, sports, workouts, and fitness classes have kept my routine fresh and exciting. Plus, events and tournaments have allowed me to challenge myself and make new friends. After three months, I'm already seeing results in my body, and I couldn't be happier! “Nice park in the neighbourhood. Theres always something going on like fun fair or circus etc.”
“We were visiting family in Coventry and decided to go to The Wave unfortunately due to the time of our visit we were unable to go to a Quiet Time session. My son is autistic so was worried he wouldn’t cope. But he had the most amazing experience along with the rest of the family. Staff were very supportive and understanding which took the stress out of our visit. There were a couple of slides not working but they seemed scary ones which my children wouldn’t have gone on anyway so no impact on us. They loved the slides with boats and the lazy river. Staff were very friendly and well organised! Will definitely be back.”
“Best spoons I've been to! The food was perfect along with the staff being absolutely lovely. I was served by Jack who is a credit to your pub, it really made my day having a conversation with this kind gentleman, I wish more people were like him!”
“Am giving 5 stars based on carol and Alasdair. I was unsure on whether to switch to this gym but carol is the best lady to talk to as she provided extensive options and gave a thorough tour. I didn’t feel pressure and she was warm and friendly. Alasdair is a brilliant instructor I would highly recommend his vinyasa flow classes.”
“Great venue with friendly staff. Very efficient and well located. Good selection of beers and competitively priced”
