“I recently revisited Bistrot Pierre after a long time and decided to try their Soirée Gastronomique evening, a six-course dining experience priced at just £26.95—an incredible value for money. As it was my birthday, I had signed up for Club Bistrot Pierre, which gifted me a free bottle of wine. We opted for the red, and it was a lovely addition to the meal. On top of that, the app offered a free bread side, which was absolutely delicious—fresh, hot, and paired with amazing butter that melted perfectly. The six courses were well-paced and thoughtfully curated. My favourite dish was the Camembert cheese with bread—rich, gooey, and indulgent. The full menu for the evening included: 1. Vegetable tortellini – A light yet flavourful start. 2. Baked Camembert – Absolute perfection with the bread. 3. Cod with potatoes – Cooked beautifully, simple yet satisfying. 4. Eton Mess-inspired dessert – Sweet, airy, and refreshing. 5. Cheese board – A well-balanced selection of cheeses. 6. Hot drink – A comforting end to a great meal (I didn’t take a photo of the tea) For the quality and variety of food, £26.95 per person felt like an absolute bargain. The service could have been faster, but it was super busy! The overall experience was fantastic, from the welcoming atmosphere to the thoughtfully crafted menu. I’d highly recommend this evening for anyone looking to enjoy a tasting-style dining experience at a great price. Looking forward to visiting again!”

“Singh’s Punjabi Restaurant is a cosy place that perfectly catered to me and my friend’s meal. As a vegetarian, the options on the menu were extensive, which is something I rarely experience, and from what I ate, the food was delicious. I also really appreciated the vibe of the restaurant; customers knew the staff, and that resulted in a welcoming and social environment. The apple juice was also exquisite.”

I have been visiting the shop for many years and have always found the owners Indy and his brother to be very pleasant with nothing being too much trouble. “Came to Clark's today to buy my 9 month old son his first pair of shoes. We were greeted warmly by a lady with long dark hair who showed us to take a ticket from the machine for measuring. A short time later a lady with long brown hair and glasses called our number. She measured my sons feet, which he loved, and recommended some shoes. We knew the selection would be limited as my son's feet are still very small, but the lady helped us find a suitable pair and assessed how he walked in them. All round, an excellent experience for us and the service from these two ladies was fabulous. Thank you.”

“Ordered the £25 set meal for 2 last night for collection. Very surprised at the large quantity of the food. When got home, plated up and sat down to eat. I can only say that the food was delicious and hot. As I said earlier there was a large quantity of food, half of which is now in the fridge for dinner tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for great food”
