“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had our wedding at The Kedleston Country House on 4th October 2025 and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is so elegant and beautifully maintained, creating the most stunning backdrop for our day. Everything ran so smoothly, and a huge thank you goes to Helen, who was simply amazing — so organised, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. The tapas menu was incredible; our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! We had so many compliments on both the food and the overall atmosphere. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, excellent service, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe, I couldn’t recommend The Kedleston Country House more highly!”

“The service is very quick, however that isn't reflected in the food. People often associate fast food with sub standard. This is not the case here. The service was fantastic, the food on offer was great. Dom did a fantastic job I went for the sausages, broccoli, mashed potato all served in a Giant Yorkshire Puddings. Great Dinner for under £9”

“Had really great customer service from Wren kitchens in Derby. Hakeem was my designer who was absolutely brilliant he took the time to listen to all my needs and make sure everything I wanted I achieved. I honestly couldn’t fault him at all. Hakeem went above and beyond. Would highly recommend Hakeem.”

“The club shop of Derby County. Shirts, shorts, socks and everything else to support the team. Little bit on the expensive side, especially when taking the family but good quality Puma merchandise. You can park right outside and spend time looking around all the goodies. Plenty of places to eat around once you are done with the shopping.”

“The food was excellent and plentiful however the service was chaotic one person didn’t correspond with the other service was all over the place. Also the pub could do with a little TLC inside and out . Would i eat here again for food quality absolutely.”

“Came to Anokis from Bradford after spending the day in Derby. Nearly missed it on the A38 so first impression of the location wasn't impressing but that soon changed with the astounding exterior deco (see pics) and ample parking. Service - Loved what the waiters were wearing as part of their uniform. They were extremely polite and talkative yet very busy. Always someone watching the tables should a table need some service. Toilets - very clean and fresh & accessible. Food - Expensive especially for a small plate of starters but nonetheless the food was delicious. The mains were a better size for the price and tasty. Anokis do a deal every Wednesday and a member discount which you may need to be mindful to checkout. Atmosphere - great atmosphere. Great deco and lighting, lively and impressive space & quality seating. I would definetly recommend a visit to Anoki.”

“Went for a meal. Had lovely fish and chips, big special kebab and a steak meal. All cook to perfection. Will return. Staff all very polite. Good clean pub. A little bit tired.”

“Visited here with a group of friends after a walk in the local area. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered from the set menu which was 2 courses for £16.99 at the weekend. Food was really good, great sized portions and really tasty. Good value for money. Excellent range of draft beers on tap. Would definitely recommend and return.”

“Wow what can i say... well ill start with we stumbled upon this place by accident, what a absolutely amazing meal, this is traditional indian cuisine at its best, no overly fancy restaurant just back to basics clean, traditional dining. Hands down i will never eat at another indian restaurant again after that perfectly prepared meal. See you again very very soon . Absolute culinary delight”

“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”

“Was taken here tonight by friends and although I'd not had Japanese food before I absolutely loved it. We tried lots of different starters and they were all Fantastic the mains were great too. The robot servers and watching the chefs cook and prepare sushi was really entertaining. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others”

“Myself, my other half and our youngest visited The Stenson Fields for a family meal and were extremely happy with the food, the service and the atmosphere. Everywhere was clean and tidy, including the Toilets. We arrived just before a football match and started in the Bar where we enjoyed a round of drinks, a game of darts and a game of pool. We found it to be a very friendly atmosphere and were pleasantly surprised how engaging the other patrons were, even offering tips on our lacklustre pool skills! We moved through to the Lounge to sit and eat, and every aspect of the meal was fantastic! The Bar staff were helpful and attentive to our needs, taking our food order with no fuss. They were even kind enough to allow modifications to our meals with no drama. The food arrived promptly, was perfectly cooked and was delicious. I had the double Beef Old Faithful with fries & onion rings, my other half had the Gyros Flatbread with Tandoori Chicken and our youngest had a 5oz Rump Steak with waffle fries & onion rings, polished off with a Lemon Meringue Sundae. The meal was topped off with a visit from the Chef who came out to ensure all was expected with the food, and we were happy to thank him for our fantastic meals, which were cooked to perfection and were also very reasonably priced. All in all we can thoroughly recommend The Stenson Fields for a fantastic Family meal!”

“Great food in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff and service are brilliant and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Been here many times over the last few years and really enjoy walking round the marina where this restaurant is located as well. Nice to have places like this within a short drive.”

“Me and family visited here today and had a great time. Jo and the team were very welcoming to us. We were quickly seated in a nice booth, and the team were ready at hand to take our order. I ordered the crispy chicken burger meal, while my partner ordered the bacon and cheese beef burger meal. Our daughter had crispy chicken with fries. I think it was safe to say that we all enjoyed our meals! We couldn’t go without having a cheeky dessert… Me and my partner shared a biscoff cheesecake (with added banana, which we requested) while our daughter had a chocolate ice cream cone (which is part of the kids meal offer - where you choose a main, drink and dessert). The desserts were sooo good! I think we will definitely be back again! Thank you so much :)”

“Turned up exactly on time. The pizza was much better than many other local pizza takeaways, the chips were still hot and perfectly cooked, not soggy at all like they are from other places. Best value for money I've found in the area. Will definitely order again.”
