“had a lovely take-away of 1 starter and 2 main meals. The vegetable spring rolls were ok, perhaps a little dry and didn't come with a sauce to dip in, but would order them again. The sweet and sour chicken was made up of really good pieces of chicken and lovely sauce. Chicken fried rice really good quality too. Great portions and great value. (Update: had 3 times now and each time, main meals very consistent with original review and really good, but maybe won't order spring rolls again)”

“I’ll be honest, I hadn’t ordered for a while as felt the standard had slipped however a friend ordered on Thursday night and raved about it and we were not disappointed on Saturday when we got a takeaway. Order was hot and really fresh - delighted!! Booked a table to come for a special meal before Christmas too and can’t wait.”

“Me, my partner and my mom have been ordering from here for years and there hasn't been a single time the food wasn't perfect. Every time we order, it tastes like it's gotten better then the last time, and I don't understand how that's possible. It doesn't matter what happens or how much we order, everything comes piping hot. We absolutely LOVE their food, especially the salt and chilli chicken and wongs special fried rice. We tend to order from the All Eats app but when I have been on the phone to them, there has been nothing but a golden example of customer service. The delivery drivers are always so friendly and caring, especially the lassy that delivers (I wish I knew her name but she's absolutely brilliant) My mom is house bound and gluten intolerant. The first time we ordered, we had to call to see what was gluten free and they had no problems making the chicken gluten free for her and telling her what other gluten free options they had. It was like a dream come true. The chicken didn't have that bland flavor that other places or other gluten free foods have. It was cooked perfectly and didn't upset her stomach. I only wish I could eat from here every day. To the staff: Thank you so so much for the continued amazing service and fantastic food. You have never disappointed or lacked in quality. You all do such an amazing job. Please stay safe and know that your food and service is very much loved and looked forward too.”

“Today, we had our dinner from Navayas. It was excellent, and the food was freshly prepared and of very high quality. The naan bread was delicious, and the curries were great too. The service was friendly, and the shop looked very hygienic. While you are waiting, you can see them prepare your meal. I highly recommend eating here.”

“Went there with a friend for dinner last week and very much enjoyed it. The food was excellent! It was freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent - very friendly and helpful and attentive. The interior could do with a wee bit of a refresh which is why I only gave three stars for the atmosphere but I would highly recommend the Gangnam.”

“I don't understand some of the negative reviews, but my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. I can recommend the beef fried rice, the beef in black bean sauce. The salt and chilli chips were also excellent - they were v crispy (though it helps I picked it up fresh and was eating at home within 5 mins, they may get soggy if they stream in the box during a delivery)”

“I had Szechuan chicken here and it was really good. It was way above and beyond any other Chinese takeaway dish I've had. Really good depth of flavour, felt like a restaurant dish. Tried ordering the same at various places since but others seem very bland in comparison. Recommended.”

“We tried Gilmerton Wok when both of our usual takeaways were closed, and we've never gone back to either of them! The food at Gilmerton Wok is the best Chinese food that we've tasted in ages. I particularly love their Singapore fried rice - just enough of a kick without going over the top. The people behind the counter are always friendly and chatty, and even in busy periods, it doesn't take ages to get your food. We've never tried delivery, as they are so close to us, but there is a constant stream of delivery drivers, so it must be a very popular choice.”
