“Very good chemist who strive to help you and get your medication ready for you asap and if out of stock they do their very best to get it in for you. I have always found staff very friendly and helpful and do well considering how busy they are with a lot of prescriptions. I have no complaints about them just praise for their hard work! I think at times they’re under appreciated at times ! They do their very best serving the community with under staffed issues in my opinion.”

“As a regular shopper at this St James Centre Boots, I almost always have someone ask me if I need any help when browsing the makeup section, which I almost always decline due to being in a rush or not wanting to be pushed into buying something I didn’t really need. Today was different, I was greeted by the wonderful Stephen, he made eye contact and simply asked me if I needed any advice on anything. Which I actually did! Not only was he open, honest and made me feel like he was personally guiding me to products that would work for me, but he gave me options within my price range and had such genuine warmth that made me really value his opinion. He gave me a solid 10 minutes of his time today which after such a long day at work, really made me feel seen and heard. I went to find a product we spoke about when there were two options… suddenly I found myself chasing him around the store unable to make decisions for myself anymore, he was of course busy helping some other guests but I rudely interrupted him, “Sorry, Stephen, which one?” As I held up both products and he said “the left one, I use the darker colour, but the lighter one would be good for you.” Even in the busiest moment, he stopped to give me advice. What a gem. I’m Not writing this review to say that all team members at Boots, should drop what they are doing to look after you as a customer, I’m just relaying my experience today. Retail is a tough career, especially when you work in beauty and there are so many options & opinions. So I just wanted to say a big shout out to Stephen because his fantastic communication style mixed with his clear product knowledge and customer service today, went above and beyond. He should absolutely be on the learning and development team at Boots head office. Then perhaps everyone would walk out of there feeling more confident and beautiful then when they walked in. Which is all you can hope for when you walk into a Boots.”

“I've been to this pharmacy multiple times, and the staff have always been nothing but nice and pleasant. They definitely don't deserve all the negative reviews. Other people moaning about not receiving medication immediately is completely unrealistic. The staff are always super busy and are doing their best, especially with a fast growing local population. My only gripe is the manager needs to order more stock in advance if possible, but other than that, great pharmacy.”

She offered to contact the GP and phoned me back as soon as she had spoken to the surgery. She also phoned me back as soon as the prescription was ready to collect. Top notch customer care!”
