“If you desire superb food and atmosphere, then this place to go but be sure to book a table. It's located in the city center not far from the Scott monument. From the first moment we felt welcome and the place has a nice and calm atmosphere. We celebrated our anniversary there and both of us had the wagyu steak for our main course. You can choose from several different side orders. All to your choosing. The steak was perfectly prepared to our liking. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and service minded. Truly a place to recommend.”

“When doggie and myself walked into the shop and started browsing we were welcomed by Godfrey. He had us on a fitting machine which measures body shape and alignment. We tried recommended bed, and the next 8 beds nearby. Then I found out about the display models very marked down. Tried the medium topped mattress and found the one! So comfy but soft on broken ribs. He listened to our plight of potentially sleeping on the carpet, offered a free airbed pillows and mattress protector. All while serving 2 other lots of customers. Very happy with Godfrey at Dreams.”

“Great Stop at Cafe Nero Before Edinburgh! Cafe Nero was the perfect place to pause before heading into Edinburgh. The coffee and snacks were just right, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. A great spot to recharge!”

“Pleas which I shouldn't visit. I went only for batteries and bulbs... LOL and ended with bunch funny Christmas presents ... Including this on the photo. Lady on the till was not showing enthusiasm, that she is blessed and have work. Maybe being only on Job seekers allowance will give her motivation to smile to customers, and not showing disgust for bought items. Please retrain her.”

“Been looking for a bed for spare room. They had some fantastic offers on. Connor was very nice and I didn’t feel under any pressure he listened to what I wanted, gave advice and left me to think about my choices. Overall a very enjoyable experience. New divan and mattress being delivered in under 10 days plus free delivery. What more can I say, excellent! Highly recommend. Great price, great bed, great service. Well done”

“The place was empty on a Monday night, we had a reservation at 6:00. By the time we left it was full. The food was wonderful, the Junglee Lamb and Samosas were amazing. Butter chicken is always a good bet as well. The service was kind, made great suggestions and were attentive. The atmosphere is inviting and the restaurant was bright and clean. Great place to enjoy some delicious Indian fare.”

“We came up to Edinburgh from London in April for a friend’s 50th and came here on our last day for breakfast and it did not disappoint A beautiful place with amazing food and excellent service. My friend said that the haggis here was the best she’d ever tasted. It was my first time trying haggis and it was delicious as was everything else on my plate including the black pudding which I don’t usually enjoy. Going here was an excellent start to our last day in beautiful Edinburgh.”

“Truly a hidden gem! Kind staff and superior-quality food at very reasonable prices. I've had an egg roll twice and it was to die for! I think they use prime quality ingredients, the bread roll itself was so soft and tasty. Unfortunately not dog friendly (I think because they are within a larger premise), but they do takeaway from the back (it's not signposted, just walk to the back of the building and you'll find a desk with a bell to ring staff and a menu, there is also a nice garden with some benches). So really an amazing spot to stop by after a long walk on the beach!”

“This is an excellent company to deal with and I have no issues whatsoever after they completely rennovated my dated kitchen. The advice given by Terry when he came out to price and measure the work was knowledgeable and honest. The standard of workmanship by Danny and the installation team was first class. They came, they did the job really well then they left left. They were pleasant and approachable and there was none of the " we'll be back on three days to finish the job" nonsense. Operations were managed by the office supremo, Sarah, who dealt with coordination, payment and general admin. She is brilliant at getting things done and ensuring the smooth running of the work. Overall I have a lovely new high quality kitchen which cost far less than I had imagined and I would thoroughly recommend and thank Alba kitchens for their work.”

“Lovely, cosy wee cafe that we travelled to from Glasgow. Food was delicious and great value. We were warmly welcomed while we waited for my son to sit his driving test. He unfortunately failed, but we will most likely revisit this lovely wee place next time we are in Edinburgh.”

Used the dreams computer device to help us narrow down our choices. We were offered refreshments during our visit which is always appreciated. Mattress arrived on time, delivery men were efficient. Mattress very comfy, no issues, having good nights sleep on this mattress. We chose The Hyde & Sleep hybrid ice K mattress.”
