Experience the best of Scotland on a Hairy Coo tour from Edinburgh or Inverness.
“Fantastic booking from tui st James Edinburgh , Amy and Chloe showed amazing attention to detail. Got an amazing deal for me and thought of everything possible for my holiday. They made the booking seamless and hassle free and could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be booking with them again. Hayley”
“Such a great little shop full of unique items and pieces by local artists. Also one of the few that is not full of items paying royalties to she who shall not be named. Shop employees (owners?) were lovely!”
“I feel like I got the most out of my trip to Scotland thanks to Heart of Scotland. We were in Scotland for 8 days and did two of their tours. One was the overnight to Inverness, the other Hadrians Wall and the borders. Our tour guide Angela was friendly, funny, informative and accommodating. Not expensive and worth every penny for the experiences we had!”
“Joey and his team went above and beyond to get my Chinese visa in time for my visit to Shenzhen. Last time I visited, I applied for a temporary visa at the port. Never again! It took 90 minutes to go through immigration. So once again a big thanks to i2visa UK!”
“An absolutely unforgettable first day in Scotland! Our guide, Ruth, was simply spectacular: full of historical knowledge, interesting facts, and, above all, a great sense of humor. Every stop on the tour was spectacular: from the Hermitage Forest, Dunkeld, the imposing Stirling Castle, to the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands, everything was perfectly organized and well explained. Ruth managed to captivate both adults and children with the stories, and her passion for Scotland is contagious. The whole family loved the tour. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Scotland in a single day. Thank you, Ruth, for such a special day!”
“Matt is a great coach and motivator. His thoughtful, positive approach was just what I needed and I will be sad to leave him as I move on from Edinburgh. Cannot praise Matt or the Luke Bremner enough for their indivualised and professional approach. Thank you.”
“Honestly one of the best things I’ve done, from someone who is an avid traveler. Usually I like to plan my own trips, but I think Neil made this tour far better anything I could have done by myself. His stories of his life and childhood in the highlands, the folklore and history of the region, and knowledge of hidden spots that most might pass over made this trip so special. I certainly think it was worth the money and the company is amazing. The hostels were also really nice. Some were on the water, while others were in good locations in the towns we stayed at. There were always plenty of stops for groceries, and they all had kitchens. (But also lots of opportunities to get food, if you don’t like to cook). Sometimes it might not be possible to stop at a major spot, if there is no parking space, but Neil always made it work. Honestly, one of our favorite spots was one where we were alone. We did find a spot at Storr, which was also a major highlight. Make sure you bring proper waterproofs because it rained on us every day of our. Also, bring good footwear for hiking. I personally went on the 5 day Highlands Tour and would definitely recommend it over the 3 day tours. Not because I’ve done the shorter tours, but because I can’t imagine seeing the highlands in an even shorter period of time. It is a special place and I didn’t want the trip to end.”
“We booked a 2-hour Harry Potter tour in French. Our guide was very friendly, spoke excellent language, and had many interesting things to share about Edinburgh, its history, and the connections between the city and J.K. Rowling/Harry Potter. Our daughter was thrilled, and so were her parents. We also appreciated the addresses the guide shared with us verbally and via text message after the tour. We didn't have enough time to try everything, but the hot chocolate recommendation was a real treat! Thank you.”
“A clear recommendation! The food was cooked to perfection, tasty and with fantastic flavours. The ambiente, the service and pleasant music couldn't have been better. Also the persian variations of Latte are worth a try. The price for this quality and culinary experience is simply unbeatable.”
“Zoe was brilliant and found our perfect holiday to Mexico. She explained everything in details and happily printed off a few options for us to take away and discuss. We returned shortly after and went ahead with the booking. Thanks for all your help Zoe”
“MV Scotland put together an amazing trip to Scotland for us! Every detail was perfect from hotels, meals, attractions, activities and guides! Highly recommend their team and services!”

“What an amazing experience we had. Jess was so good and has amazing knowledge of the area. On the way back we saw some dolphins and The captain went back around so we all see them and spend a bit more time with them, that was very special and they didn’t have to do that.”
“Our 10 day trip to Scotland was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to this incredible travel agency - Luxury Scotland Tours. They planned every single detail with perfection-so seamlessly that all we had to do was enjoy the adventure. When you contact them ask for Rebecca. Our driver service, Transvercia, was outstanding: professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to travel with. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely taken care of the entire time. Jacky shared amazing stories, took us to breathtaking spots we never would have found on our own, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The itinerary was a dream come true! We visited countless breathtaking castles, toured some of the finest Scotch distilleries, and immersed ourselves in Scotland’s rich, captivating history. They even planned private walking tours, boat excursions, and a private tour of a wonderful chocolate factory. All we had to do was show up. Even dinner reservation for each night had been planned. If you have a chance to take a private walking tour of Edinburgh ask for Edward Deely. He was impressive. If you're looking for a travel agency that delivers flawless planning, incredible experiences, and unforgettable moments, look no further. This team is truly top-notch. Highly, highly recommended!”
“Friendly efficient service, Scott always finds us our best holidays. Never had any problems. 100% recommend them, can't be beaten on price, quality, or professionalism.”
“What an amazing museum this is. Firstly it's free to enter which is brilliant, of course you can leave a donation to support. There are lockers available to rent for a nominal sum, and great cafes to refuel. The museum has a terrific amount of interactive exhibits, lots of places to learn and play. You could really spend all day here.”
“We kicked off our exhilarating Scotland adventure on September 9th, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Finding the Edinburgh bus depot was a breeze—just a quick stroll from the bustling Edinburgh Marketplace rail station. As soon as we signed in, the fantastic Rabbies team greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable journey. Our driver, Stephen, was an absolute treasure! His captivating storytelling and deep knowledge of Scottish history brought our tour to life in the most thrilling way possible. He infused the trip with a fantastic playlist that became the perfect soundtrack to our exploration, making every moment even more electrifying. This all-day tour was a whirlwind of excitement and discovery, and if the opportunity arises, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to dive into even more Scottish adventures! We also had the pleasure of meeting the charming Cecilia from Nebraska, USA, in our tour van. Connecting with her and sharing our stories added an extra layer of joy to the experience! At the Loch Lomond village shop, we were greeted by the incredibly welcoming Sean Donnachie, a young local Scot with a delightful accent that made our interactions a joy. Sean entertained our questions about Loch Lomond and shared fascinating insights about life in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The shop offers a diverse selection of merchandise, making it a true gem! Rabbies tours are worth every penny—don’t think twice; book it now and get ready for the most memorable adventure of a lifetime!”
“I think it was a brilliant experience. While it is like a zoo, the aim of the centre is to give the owls a chance to recover their population and provide a safe haven. The enclosures are well looked after and the owls are so pretty. It's nothing like an owl cafe.”
“Went to the cafe twice— it was that good. The pancakes were to die for for breakfast. Burger I had was very tasty, and not at all dry. Coffee and tea served were both astounding, and the full breakfast I had on my second visit was very delicious. To top it all, the service was top-notch. They were accommodating and were engaging with us kindly. A must visit if you’re around Royal Mile!”
“Absolutely lovely. My food was great and everything else I saw come out I also wanted as it looked amazing. Scrambled egg on "toast" (was actually a small baguette style bread) was the best Ive ever had. Unique and delicious. Definitely be coming again many more times.”
“My husband & I came in today to book a family holiday. We were greeted by Claire at the desk who was very welcoming & lovely to have a chat with before we headed over to the desk for our appointment. We had our appointment with Emma who was very knowledgeable about all the places we were considering. She was so patient with us & found us a family holiday that had everything we were looking for. She took her time talking us through everything we needed to know including the assistance we need at the airport. It was a very easy & straightforward process to book with Emma & she definitely took the stress out of having to do it all at home. Thank you very much again, we’re all looking forward to our first family holiday.”
“Had an amazing experience in the shop. Miss Sheila provided us great customer service. Glad we met her in the shop.. She sorted out issue very quickly. Very thankful to her❤️”
“Peaceful sanctuary to walk around (even in rainy weather). Birds are interested in the food bags and my toddler loved walking around and chatting back at them. Emus were running around and overall just a great day out to break up the normal routine. Staff were lovely, even at busy lunchtime. Shop is well stocked. Toilets clean. Play area is a bonus for burning off wee one’s energy before a nice nap on the way home. Annual pass to return is such a nice gesture!”
“Visited the penguin enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo last week and it was amazing! The penguins were the mist of their mating season and we could observe their behavior. Unfortunately, Penguins Rock can smell a little fishy but that is expected given the nature of the exhibit. Would recommend if you visit Edinburgh Zoo.”
“My son started kids aerial classes here almost a year ago and he absolutely loves them! He grows in confidence every week and I love seeing him challenge himself and grow with the help of the lovely team at Aerial Art House. It's one of his favourite times of the week.”
“One of the best ice cream shops in Edinburgh. Coffee & cardamom flavour is so nice to eat .”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Highlands of Scotland. Kuddos to Lauriane and Nordic for their professionalism and helpful suggestions, the entire process was a breeze. Lauriane promptly answered all of our questions and offered wonderful travel suggestions and tips. Our accommodations were all first rate and the staff at every establishment were awesome. We highly recommend Nordic and will be booking again with them. The only thing they didn’t help us out with was driving on the left side of the road, but we were able to navigate that issue (pun intended). If it is your first time in Scotland or driving in the UK, I highly recommend the meet and greet service from the airport, it really takes the stress off after the travel. Again, thank you so much Lauriane and Nordic for an unforgettable experience!”

Honestly, forget booking a holiday online, try Connoisseur.”
“We’ve been doing the weekend outdoor classes with our 5 year old. Chris is a brilliant coach: friendly, inclusive, adaptive to all levels (me = extreme beginner and scaredy-cat and yet… I love it). Our kid is loving lessons, it’s helping him gain confidence and resilience, and most importantly he’s having fun doing it :)”
