“Great place to have a drink and good bar staff”
“First time in it. Not been since it was the Bluebell. Good people and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.”
“Great wee local pub!! Great atmosphere and brilliant bar staff”
“This is one of those places where it just feels like home. A warm welcome and great service is provided. My wife and I had lunch here, the menu does offer a verity of choice. Although we both went with the comfort food of a burger which was well seasoned and prepared. Could have with ease spent the rest of the day here and not moved due to the atmosphere being so awesome.”
“Great wee pub reasonably priced nice pint of best, friendly barmaid. .”

“The bracken burger, chips amd fresh slaw was outstanding. Thanks”
“My parents recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary back at The Parkville. This was their wedding venue 60yrs ago. They had a beautiful lunch on October 20th with family and everyone was so kind and made everyone feel really special. All the staff really looked after my parents and showed a real interest in their wedding memories. Food was excellent and consensus was that the lunch was just as good or perhaps even better than the wedding meal 60yrs ago! Special thanks to Lynne who went above and beyond to make my parents Diamond Wedding celebrations, a real gem of an occasion. Thank you.”
“Came to Angels last week with my daughter and husband for breakfast. Was served by Ola and wow what a service. She was very attentive, kind and took the time to speak with myself and my daughter, who is four. What a lovely, kind woman and this is the reason I’ll be back. Kindness is hard to find these day, and Ola gave this in abundance. Breakfast was excellent-love the new brunch menu! Can’t wait to come back again!”
“I really like this cinema, slightly more expensive but so worth it. Big reclining seats and lots of room.”
“The food was good. The atmosphere was warm and comfy. Martin was a great bartender and he answered our questions about Glasgow. We appreciated his information, opinion, and vibe!”
“Had a boozy brunch here with a friend in December. Bart was our host and couldn't have done anymore for us which was much appreciated. Food was lovely, drinks were topped up regularly and the overall atmosphere was great. Will definitely be returning soon. Great value for money. Thanks Bart and the team.”
“Great, trendy hip and relaxed modern European restaurant. Service was friendly and unfussy and food was really good. Really unexpected for the area but worth a visit. Nice for a few pints after work as well. Bit on the pricey side but worthwhile as standards are high”
“Had such a lovely lunch today at Tinto. Our waitress was so lovely, friendly and welcoming! Food was amazing, some of the best tapas I've had! Can't wait to come back.”
“Beautiful restaurant, clean & lovely atmosphere! We got the 2 course meal a I had Cullen Skink & burger - really good value! My friend had Humes, then Honey Mustard Chicken. Both great portions, good food, friendly service - defo recommend”
“My boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch this February. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of information given about menu items and portion sizes. My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .”
“New Darts area here was great! Came in on a Saturday afternoon with no booking and managed to get a board straight away for an hour. Cocktails were good and a few new game types we had never played before!”
“NO complaints from us. We ignored recommendations for other restaurants in Merchant City and were very glad we did. Fantastic, honest, high quality fayre. HUGE portion sizes. Not pretentious and doesn't have to be....does exactly what the owners promised. I went traditional Turkey, the wife had Chicken and Haggis Pie. Starters Cullenskink soup and Prawn n smoke Salmon (Marie Rose sauce was best she's ever tasted) The pie would have fed 2 (and did, I helped myself to a couple of healthy portions!)”
“It was my second time at Halloumi and it was simply incredible. The food was amazing, I really like how the Greek dips come with a Pitta bread that you can share with the table. The dessert was definitely the best part! I also loved the service and atmosphere, definitely recommend to come here for dinner.”
“A real pub in an area surrounded by bars. Great pint of Guinness. Staff know their regulars and welcome new customers.”
“Great pub, very friendly and attentive staff, looks like I’ve found my new local.”
“Good old fashioned pub. Great staff and great banter. Bar staff especially Robyn so friendly and welcoming as are the customers. Love it.”
“Best pub in the west end by far”
“Surprisingly great pub food for Glasgow. Nothing like your normal Wethersoons/Hungry Horse, the burger here had an amazing crisp bun on it and tased so fresh. I also had a slice of the sticky toffee pudding which was very delicious and well presented. It was order at the bar, however the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, bring the food to the table and checking in that everything was good. The atmosphere was pretty quiet tonight as there was nothing on, however they have a board at the door that was full of things like Poker Night and sports events. I'll definitely be back and would throughly recommend a visit.”
“Courtney has been an amazing bartender, been caring and passionate about our experience. Been here with couple of friends and the live music always brings to a wonderful atmosphere. Only came for drinks but the bartender are generous with their pours. Definitely recommend.”
“A Glasgow Burger Experience Worth Shouting About If Glasgow has no shortage of great eats, this place proves it also knows how to make a seriously exceptional burger. Service is quick, friendly, and informed without feeling rehearsed. Staff actually seem excited about the menu, and their recommendations don’t miss. Prices are reasonable for the quality, making the whole experience great value. If you’re hunting for Glasgow’s best burger, look no further. This place doesn’t just serve a great burger—it delivers a burger moment. Whether you’re treating yourself after a long week or showing off the city to a friend, this is a stop you won’t regret.”
“Fantastic service. Greeted the moment my boyfriend and I walked in the door. We had to be seated at the bar initially because the place was full, they were quick to serve us our drinks and provide menus, then the moment a table became available they grabbed us :). Food was absolutely delicious. Best food and service I've received since arriving to the city a week ago. Would go again and again and would highly recommend.”
“My family and I had an exceptional experience at the Emirates Lounge in Glasgow Airport. Despite our flight being delayed by 40 minutes, we didn't mind the extra time because the lounge offered such a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. From the moment we entered, the staff were amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with a smile. The lounge itself is beautifully designed, with a calm and sophisticated ambiance that made it easy to relax. The food options were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. We were particularly impressed by the quality and freshness of everything served. One of the standout features was the dedicated prayer room, which was a thoughtful touch for travelers who wish to pray in a quiet, private space. The bathroom facilities were also immaculate—so clean and well-maintained that they felt like a sanctuary where you could easily spend extra time freshening up. Adding to the overall experience was the stunning view of the runway. Watching airplanes take off and land while enjoying the comfort of the lounge made the wait for our flight feel like a special part of the journey. In summary, the Emirates Lounge at Glasgow Airport exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, luxurious amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere made it a highlight of our trip. We almost wished our flight was delayed longer!”
