“Great pub - good entertainment.”
“What can I say the food is absolutely fantastic full table service for drinks also all the staff are so friendly also. Starters and main course very reasonable priced I had chicken pakora starter and Chicken Satay for my main wow was absolutely lovely. Will definitely be returning”
“Absolutely fantastic! Really lovely meal, flavours were.just great. We were watching the pennies, so we shared a starter of haggis, then had a sharing plate - vegetarian, I think, and then a couple of scoops of sorbet. And I tried one of the cocktails! I am not a drinker so I have nothing to compare it to, but wow!”
“The food was amazing today in the Tavern will defo be back ty”
“Top pub friendly staff great atmosphere recommend”
“Belting wee pub. Landlords a top man and the punters are a pleasure. Walked in not knowing anyone. Left knowing most of them! Good pool players too. See ya next time”
“Really friendly people. Quiet and cheerful place to chill for a couple of hours”
“We've a tendency to stop in here after getting off the train at Sunnyside. Fabulous whisky selection, friendly crowd.”
“Absolutely fantastic pub, with great service, people and craic! A remnant of Scottish pub culture of times gone by, Jaybee’s preserves the ambiance and remains true to itself in an era of otherwise soulless pubs!”
“Had a great evening in here on Saturday. A large crowd of us turned up unannounced and staff member Sophie was super accommodating and found us a space. Atmosphere and drinks were great. Will definitely be back to try the food it looked fabulous”
“Friendly local public House with smart decor welcoming staff and attractive prices”
“Didn't have a card machine so a gentleman bought me a pint. Absolutley does not feel inside like it does on the outside! Big fan. Thanks guys!”
“Screen 12 row B seat 9. Comfy recliner seats, best nachos. Clean and friendly staff. Lots of food choices, also has a costa.. plenty of seating areas.”
“Thank you for the service. A clean and spacious area to enjoy our dinner here. Quantity of food is impressive. Although the soup with the mussels is a bit salty, all the dishes are tasty in great sauce.”
“The food was great the staff were friendly the restaurant was cosy nice views a good experience.”
“Loved our brunch as we explored Irvine harbour area! Thank you.”
“First visit to the Maldron or the group and was impressed by the experience. Staff were all first class, communicative and industrious with a pleasant demeanour. Quality of finishings was excellent, very comfortable bed and very clean room and public areas. Breakfast selection was as expected, was regularly refreshed and plenty available. Look forward to my next visit.”
“Fabulous location! Right within 5-10 minute walking distance to shopping, theater, and tons of pubs and restaurants. One of my favorite things about this hotel is they have a couple of filtered water stations to fill up your bottles. It’s a small thing with a huge and welcomed convenience while traveling. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.”
“Excellent food, quick and polite service. The 2 meals for one is brilliant and they don’t get shy on the portion size. Definitely go again.”
“The Ivy on Buchanan Street is an absolute showstopper! The moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of glamour and sophistication. The decor is simply stunning—vibrant, art-deco inspired, and filled with beautiful details that make every corner feel special. It's the perfect setting for a celebratory meal or just a luxurious treat. The food is equally impressive, with a menu that offers a fantastic blend of classic dishes and modern twists. Every plate is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service is top-notch; the staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and make you feel truly valued. From the creative cocktails to the delicious desserts, The Ivy provides a fantastic dining experience that is well worth it. It's an unforgettable spot in the heart of Glasgow's Style Mile.”
“Had a brilliant 3 course lunch for 2 people and two drinks for just £20. The food is really good, the soup was perfect, the macaroni and chips and peas were brilliant and ice cream to top it off for only £7 is incredible. Would recommend if in glasgow.”
“Great burger, but on the pricey end 8/10 A customisable burger experience, though the menu could be clearer on what counts as extras. The smashed patties and caramelised onions were standout, but the burger was slightly dry. Loved the sweet buns and crispy Cajun and garlic fries. Note: The small space fills with kitchen odours and parking is tough. Total was £40, a bit pricey due to unexpected topping charges. Worth a visit if nearby and craving a solid burger. Not great for parking if you’re not in the area.”
“We came to The McMillan for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed it! Steak was delicious and service was really good. The restaurant had a really lively atmosphere for 5 pm on a Saturday and although it was really busy, the service and food were still very much on point. Looking forward to coming back again soon!”
“I personally love the place. Good atmosphere and people who go there are pleasant. Food quality is pretty good, especially for Glasgow standards. Only downside for me is a few members of the staff who I don’t find fitting. But overall I am satisfied with my visits all the time. Do not recommend beef tartare, it’s lacking in flavor and serving. Love vote for quick lunch.”
“Lovely restaurant in the heart of Kilsyth, now with a new, decent value meal deal on weekdays. Good food at a good price. Best to reserve a table at popular times. Staff are polite, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is also dog friendly and has a doggie menu.”
“The bar looks rough from the outside but inside it is clean and very welcoming. The staff are pleasant and it has the full range of beers and spirits to be expected in a pub. It has a back area with a juke box also so you can play music if you wish. I would recommend you try it out and see what you think!”
“This place was recommended to me by the bus tour guide and it lived up to the recommendation. I got the Scottish Tapas selection including Haggis Tweeds, Scotch Pies with Beans, and Beer Battered Fish and Chips. All were so delicious, perfectly warm coming out on the platter. Wonderful service, really helpful, and fantastic ambience with a wonderful live singer. When I'm back in Glasgow I'll definitely visit again.”
“Lovely local pub, with helpful staff and a great atmosphere. The only issue is it is my very local pub, I live two doors down and we share a communal garden. There is an intermittent noise coming from the back of the pub. It sounds like its coming from an old extractor fan or generator, it's so loud it keeps me and my young children awake through the night. Update: thank you so much for the response regarding the fan, it is so greatly appreciated- getting a newborn to sleep is difficult at the best of times!”
“We just had pints of Guinness, really great! Cannot comment on the food.”
“We brought our English cousins in for drink after dinner. They and we loved it, particularly the live music and dancing!”
