“Hotels located in a really lovely & quiet spot right next to where the canal meets the Clyde. The place was just as nice on the inside with absolutely charming bedrooms, hallways & residents lounge. We booked 3 rooms and all had a fantastic nights sleep. The rooms are appointed with everything needed for a restful sleep and the entire hotel was immaculately clean throughout. All of us commented how good the shower pressure was too. Will definitely be returning whenever we’re visiting the area!!”

“My friend Alys ran a PB at ParkRun so we just had to celebrate and there was only really one choice, Patricia’s coffee bar! We kicked off the celebrations with some of their high quality coffees. I then dined on the tater tots and Stornaway eggs. I really appreciated that the tater tots came out first and acted as an appetiser before being followed my the delicious eggs. The black pudding was the real star. Also worth nothing the staff were very friendly and the venue was dog friendly.”

“I definitely rated this place a few years ago, but it is the go-to breakfast place that I take my family to every time they visit. The staff are lovely, the portions are huge, and it is always so popular too. The lovely lady opening was barely a few minutes late, but still rewarded us with extra cake as an apology, which was just great. Please go here!”

“Such a beautiful place. Staff were so accommodating, helpful and attentive. I arrived late, they carried our bags to the room and kept the bar open so we could have some drinks. Even booked us breakfast, which is cooked to perfection. (Good choice of continental also) The room is the biggest I've stayed in. It's clean, great facilities, beautiful views and the complimentary gifts are the icing on the cake. There was a wedding party staying the same night and I never heard a sound. “Glenfern guest house exedeed our expectations. The cottage was simply comfortable and amazing. It is very close to the train station and to lots of bars and activities center. We decided to spend one night in this beautiful place to celebrate our fist anniversary. We could not have chosen better accommodation. The guy who welcomed us was very friendly and he helped us out with a all our requests. All very cleaned and new. We would definetely recommend and come back in the future. Elisabeth and Giovanni”
