“Probably one of the best coffee shops in the UK. Great espresso, they offer pourovers, staff is very kind & friendly. The color scheme and overall atmosphere is super relaxing. There is also outdoor seating for nice weather. Definitely come to this place!!!”

“Small rooms, but very comfortable beds. Some of them are next to the road, but thr noise isnt too bad. The food is great and the host is even better. Suzanne is funny and welcoming. Stay here if you're planning to go to Edinburgh or Glasgow, but the city itself is very very very boring.”

“We had a table booked for 9 people for Christmas lunch. I arrived 15 mins early and the table was ready. Our server was polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was good. Some people in the group had the turkey dinner which was fantastic. A generous plateful of food - thick cut turkey with all the trimmings. I had the salmon which although a small portion was just enough for me. The bistro was very clean and the service was great. Will definitely be going back.”

“Came across this little gem by chance in passing on a Sunday afternoon road trip. Very welcoming and friendly and also for our dogs. Didn’t opt for much to eat as it was nearly closing time but the menu looked good and reasonably priced. Great tasting coffee.”

“Ushi's has become one of our favourite food places in Glasgow. Come for the curry-pan, come back for the vegan cakes and doughnuts, and stay forever for the chill vibes. Having a quiet place to come in the city is so nice, and the selection of food and drink is always excellent. We also really appreciate a queer space that isn't focused around alcohol!”

“Such a beautiful place. Staff were so accommodating, helpful and attentive. I arrived late, they carried our bags to the room and kept the bar open so we could have some drinks. Even booked us breakfast, which is cooked to perfection. (Good choice of continental also) The room is the biggest I've stayed in. It's clean, great facilities, beautiful views and the complimentary gifts are the icing on the cake. There was a wedding party staying the same night and I never heard a sound. Wish I was able to stay longer. *Google sends you down the wrong turn. It's the one after*”

“Wonderful experience. Nice staff, welcoming as well, the café was a nice moment while we waited for the tour. It deserved a visit to have knowledge of Alexander Thomson and all his buildings around Glasgow. Just I personally don't think it is a good choice to create a rivalry with Mackintosh during the video. It's a totally different era, Thomson is one of the expressions of the New Classical style in 1850. Mackintosh started the 1900 with a real new style. Glasgow and his rich history deserve a common commitment.”

“No need to book in. Rooms clean and tidy and for what we were doing a great wee H.Q. I well recommend it for City Centre stays. Oh by the way the staff are brilliant and the breakfast was terrific ( we got there too late for a dinner).”
