“This is the only place I will use for take out food. The food is great and if you get a delivery then service is fast and the delivery people are so friendly. I usually end up paying double just down to the tips for the service. I have tried a lot of places for takeout since I moved here but Spicy Cottage wins hands down no matter what I have ordered.”

“We don’t live in Scotland now and our golden rule when visiting is to have a chippy . New yrs day hardly anywhere open and we were dying for a chippy , we thought we weren’t going to get one but after endless googling found this place ! It did not disappoint . “Went to Scotland to visit family and decided to stay at the Innkeeper’s Lodge in Strathclyde Park. We only booked for a one night stay but enjoyed it so much we decided to stay another night and luckily the room we stayed in was available for our second night so didn’t hesitate to book it. We stayed in the accessible room which was large enough for wheelchair access, the bed was really comfortable and it had a lovely wet room…we stayed on the bed and breakfast basis and each morning there is unlimited cooked breakfast with tea and coffee. It is very close to the Raith Interchange/M74 - A725 split but you don’t hear any traffic noise at all. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if the need arises and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are lovely and really helpful and nothing was too much trouble if you needed anything.”

“I ordered on the 22/12/22 and was disappointed but instead of phoning the shop I just left a negative review on JustEat. I should have phoned the shop. The owner came out tonight 23/12/22 unannounced to replace the items I was disappointed with in my review and the food which I received is well worth the 5 stars. The Chicken tikka was lovely and the pizza was excellent as well. Lovely and fresh and I'm pretty sure the base of the pizza is handmade as well. The calzone, burger and popcorn chicken the kids had previously were really nice and they give a generous portion for a kids meal as well. I was completely unfair by not contacting the shop and instead left a negative review. I hope this review goes towards righting my wrong. Absolutely fantastic customer service, I will be ordering again and I wish the new shop and owners the best of luck.”

“Went last night, the place was in a bit of turmoil after being shut for a month due to burst pipes. The 2 girls at the counter couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful. The pizzas were delicious too”

“Used this store for the first time today and was pleased with the service I received. The young man behind the till Adam, was very helpful in advising the best deal for me and my kids. As I walked out the store a blue audi S3 was parked extremely close to my car and he also assisted me by carrying some of my order out for me despite the cold. Amazing asset to Domino's he is!”

“Was treated by pharmacist Chris Diamond for an insect bite on my forehead that had become very swollen and inflamed. I was heading abroad on holiday on same day. His knowledge and expertise were first class . He went above and beyond to diagnose and prescribe medication to safeguard the condition worsening while I was away, also offering excellent advice on what to watch for and seek further medical attention while out the country. “Was in your coffee shop today, and my son said to one of the guys serving for a cold glass of ice water as he said to my mum is feeling unwell and she has a heart condition, the young man couldn't have been anymore help he went above and beyond.
