“Heard about this place so I tried it along with a few friends to be truly impressed by their food . They make the absolute best chana puri in town . Their saag is the real proper stuff not the tinned stuff almost all the big places fob you off with . It’s only a very small place but big in taste . “Just moved to Ossett so this was our first time going to Gandhi Spice, it did not disappoint. Food was spot on. I asked Ali the owner what he would recommend and told me about a few of the dishes he thought I would like as I don't like it spicy, I ended up with the Lamb Handi and it was so flavoursome. Kahim, sorry if I've spelt that wrong was such a lovely waiter, so polite and attentive. Bounus is that they sell alcohol. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Came in for some food with my fiancé, our local was closed so we decided to try Aanya. We were pleasantly surprised! The waiter for very attentive and friendly. The food was very nice, full of flavor and not oily. We really enjoyed the meal and found the restaurant very beautiful. The glass spice pictures on the wall are very tasteful . “We've only moved to the area and have tried most local curry places. We know our way around a curry and tend to have them fairly often. I held off writing a review until we'd had a good variety of dishes. We've had 3 seperate orders now and all have been exceptional. I had high expectations as the place itself always smells incredible when we walk past. The food did not disappoint. We've tried a variety of dishes from milk and creamy to hot and really quite fiery. There's a great range and huge choice. The chilli rice was also noteworthy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to other locals. Infinitely superior to the "other" commonly recommended curry place nearby.”

“What a delight! We had the weekend in Hebden Bridge and were torn between here and another local Indian but wow did we make the right choice. Now don't get my wrong i love and know my Indian food but this really was next level! We order a takeaway and when I went to collect the smells coming from inside packed a punch and enticed you inside from the cold, wet street. The two men behind the counter were friendly and we shared a few jokes. I had to comment on how amazing the food smelt as it really was like nothing else. Everything we ordered was fantastic, in particular the Chicken Koran and the chapatis! The portions were great and we even managed seconds and there was still enough left over for breakfast (yes we have curry for breakfast!). My partner and I commented on how this was possibly the best curry either of us had had and have said we would drive over from Manchester to order again. When in Hebden Bridge you absolutely must try here. You will not be disappointed. We will be back!”

There is no bar at this restaurant, however staff will happily provide glasses for anyone wishing to bring their own drinks. We found the prices to be very reasonable and the menu choice quite extensive. In our opinion, this is the best venue currently serving Indian style food in the Garforth area.”
