“This place is life's changing...Honestly me and my girlfriend loves the owner and her OK sauce dishes are to die for! We have ordered 4 times in the last 10 days, it's a healthy problem hahaha! But we will be placing another order VERY VERY SOON!”

“It was an amazing first experience, the staff member who greeted me and guided me was extremely friendly and helpful. The selection is brilliant, you have different kinds of meat like beef, pork and even seafood. I chose to keep it simple and have some pork and beef marinated in Soy sauce (which was divine) It was a very enjoyable experience and I hope to visit again some day!”

“Walked in just after it opened Waiter came quickly and sat us down and asked how we were. She recommended some dishes. Very knowledgeable staff. She was called SUMI. She knows her stuff. Very intelligent welcoming woman. We ordered the Korean with egg fried rice. Chicken dumplings. Malaysian butter chicken, Black pepper beef noodles, volcano sushi. Now let me tell you about the Malaysian butter chicken dolloped ontop of a crispy baby paratha. This was next level, would come back just for this. Volcano Sushi was genuinely really nice and crispy, easy on thr tongue. All in all, this place is legit, and defo recommended for people who want a different taste to your usual burger and pizza. Blue lagoon was spot on. Not too sweet. It was perfect”

“A very cosy atmosphere. The food arrives quickly, is portioned heartily, and is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for what you're getting. The service is very friendly and helpful. Order a couple of big dishes and a smattering of street food plates and you won't regret it. Oh, and if you've still got room, the green tea mochi is the best I've ever had. They were happy to box up an unfinished ramen that we wanted to take home with us too. Love this place!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our first food tasting experience at V&V. Chef Jono's food is incredible. Beautiful flavours expertly seasoned. We were looked after so well from the moment we arrived with such attentive customer service and so many wonderful flavours and textures that I kept saying ‘wow!’ We were so well looked after by the staff as well Every course was delicious and presented so perfectly. I will definitely be going back.”

“Not the cheapest Chinese but then it was quality that i wanted. I had beef with green peppers & blackbean sauce, the beef was really tender & was overall delicious. I thought it rather strange that they are not on any of the online food ordering sites & they do not do delivery but i now understand that they do not need to rely on foodie sites when the food is so good & if it is so good - it's worth going out to collect.!!!”

“Loved the vibe of this place and the cool tiling and general decor/colour scheme. Had a nice mocktail menu and the staff were very attentive, chickened out of trying ramen for the first time but enjoyed the cauliflower rice bowl instead - very generous portions also!”

“Went to Brew York for a couple of beers and found they have a food company selling Asian inspired street food. You wouldn’t believe how good it was! One of the best katsu chicken I’ve ever had and the salt and pepper hash browns were something else!! Absolutely amazing food.”

“My family and I shared a lovely meal together here. We all have specific dietary requirements (I'm vegan and my Dad's celiac etc), and the staff were very accommodating and good humoured. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs, including checking fryers and providing gluten-free soy sauce. Wonderful food and fantastic service, we'll be back.”

“If you're hungry and in Leeds' downtown and want something satisfying, flavourful, and in a reasonable portion that's not fancy but also not quick food, you've come to the correct place! The store is lovely to be in and has a clean, organised feel. Employees are polite and helpful. Meals: A perfect ten. It's all perfect—the chicken and rice! Mokii: the pink ones in particular are like nothing from heaven! Costs: affordable for anyone!”

“So we'd been coming for years but last time before it closed we felt the wait for food was too long and wasn't up to it's usual great service. However was sad it closed but went yesterday following it's reopening and it was great. Lovely new decor, really great owner who chatted with us and friendly staff. Menu was paired back which I think was the right idea. Food was so lovely and tasty and just like the good old days. We will be back as often as we can from now on. Welcome back Fuji”

“Came here with my mum and nana after shopping and we all really enjoyed it. The food came out hot and fresh — I had the katsu curry and it was spot on. My mum and nana both liked their meals too, and the staff were super friendly and patient with us. It was a bit busy (since it’s in the outlet), but the atmosphere was still chill and the service was quick. Prices are a little on the higher side, but you get good portions and quality food. Overall, really nice spot to grab something tasty after a day of shopping. Would definitely go again”

Also for a friend, ordered the Sweet and Sour Special, and was delighted to hear that not only were there full, juicy pieces of battered chicken, but there was an equal ratio of succulent king prawn (very special, indeed!) “I was very excited that a new Japanese restaurant was opening in Harrogate, as the selection here is not great. Tried two dishes so far - Chicken Katsu Curry and Salmon Teriyaki Don. Both of them were delicious, and despite being a take-out, they were nicely arranged in a bowl, and the curry was in a separate container to avoid soaking the meal. For two mains, I paid just £20.”
