“Really tidy place, great little layout, staff was lovely and the food was banging and wasn't even expensive Got large breakfast and they didn't disappoint.”
“Absolutely amazing experience. Loved my family meal after so long, great service from Adnan, Kalim and Mim. So welcoming!!! Deffo recommend the new beef steak “chimichurri steak medallions”, delicious!! Also try the Dhum Biryani. Cant wait to come again.”
“The pizzas are sensational. Always hot, full of flavour and never really a long wait. The chef is super friendly and kind too!”
“One of the best pizza places I've been to in the UK, much above Domino's or Pizza Hut! Interior has a relaxed feel and menus are given right away, seating is comfortable too. Had their pizza with anchovies, tomatoes, mozzarella, capers, garlic and oregano these toppings were fresh and just the right combo of tomato sauce with cheese!”
“Delivered in area and was recommended to me by a customer, called in for a quick snack and a coffee, service was quick and friendly.”
“Great little bag, reminds me of my visit in Ghent! Popped in for the Belgium beers, Sam and James gave me and my friends some great recommendations on some beers we haven’t tried! Great customer service - all the staff are very helpful and chatty! My favourite was the Rochefort 10! Lovely warm and cosy atmosphere with great bar snacks! Will be back and eager to try the other head of steam venues!”
“I visited the Head of Steam on Park Row in Leeds with my daughter for a few drinks, and we were absolutely blown away by the service we received – especially from Greg. From the moment we arrived, he couldn’t do enough to make sure we had the best possible experience. Greg was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us loads of great advice on the beers available, helping us choose drinks that suited our tastes perfectly. His passion for what he does really shines through, and it made our visit extra special. It’s not often you come across someone who goes so far above and beyond in customer service – Greg is a fantastic asset to the pub. Because of him, we’ll definitely be back again soon! Thank you, Greg, for making our visit such a memorable one!”
“We loved having lunch at The Botanist! We really enjoyed the meat and the dessert, but one dish stood out — the cauliflower! It was incredibly delicious! We didn’t try it this time, but we saw that there’s an option to pay a fixed fee and get unlimited drink refills — it seems like a great choice to enjoy with friends. The service was excellent, and we would definitely go back!”
“I had such a lovely experience at the Indian Tiffin Room in Leeds. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the place itself has such a vibrant, colourful vibe that really reminds you of India. The food was amazing — full of authentic flavours and perfectly cooked. Some dishes were a bit on the spicy side, but that just made it feel even more genuine. The portions were generous too, which was a nice bonus! Overall, it’s a fantastic spot if you’re craving real Indian street food in a lively, cheerful setting. I’d definitely recommend it — and if you go, make sure to try the masala dosa!”
“I visit a lot of Sizzling pubs and so far this has been the best. Only visited for the first time on 24th October 2025. From the moment you walked in you could feel the warmth. A great friendly greeting from the landlady's husband and shown to our pre booked table. Ordering was easy. The starters came out fairly quickly and was hot. After a short wait between courses the mains came and they were very hot. Unlike many pubs they hadn't spent ages under a lamp. The gammon and pork chop was cooked perfectly. I would recommend this Sizzling pub to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable visit”

“Been here a couple of times since it reopened with my little one for breakfast and it has been great! The food is lovely.”
“Genuinely one of the best places in Leeds we have ever gone to and we have gone to a lot of places. So knowledgeable and absolutely lovely guy who runs the place we are now determined to become regulars for this place and really not too expensive at all for what you get can't recommend this place enough.”
“We stopped here for a late lunch and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend. Nice range of specials and menu items to choose from. Friendly staff. Would definitely return, thanks!”

“High quality food at a great price point. My first visit to the 1814 restaurant at Hark to Mopsey for pie night did not disappoint! Attentive friendly staff and amazing food. Will definitely be coming back.”
“Absolutely fantastic little cafe for Coeliacs - dropped in today for the first time and was really happily surprised. Staff were lovely, the granola is amazing and have just finished the takeaway Rocky Road. So nice to be able to eat somewhere and feel safe and welcome. 10/10 would definitely make a bee-line for it whenever I'm in the area.”
“Lovely cafe, our first visit, latte, scone and rocky road shared, very nice, will return. Lovely breakfast menu using quality meats from butcher next door. Indoor and outdoor seating.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We popped into this café and were really impressed! It’s very dog-friendly, which made us feel welcome straight away. The place was spotlessly clean and clearly well looked after. Prices were very reasonable too — excellent value for money without compromising on quality. A lovely spot to relax, and we’ll definitely be back next time. Highly recommend!”
“A wonderful eating experience from start to finish. The decor and vibe of the place is stylish and relaxed. Went as a party of 4 (and a half) , 2 vegans, 1 veggi and 1 meat eater and we were all catered for. We also had my 3 month old son, who I felt completely at ease feeding in the restaurant and the staff were lovely with. Absolutely amazing vegan food! There's an entire separate menu, giving you so much choice. Beautifully presented, tastes sensational. The staff are genuine, attentive and professional. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a special evening.”
“We have driven past the Robin Hood so many times over the years and just hadn't realised what we've been missing! Inside, it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an authentic character which so many pubs have lost. The tick list includes: Good choice of real ales; dog friendly; real fire; friendly and enthusiastic staff; excellent quality food; broad choice menu; great value; homely decorations for the Christmas season. We were lucky to be there for the Early Bird Christmas Menu... 3 home cooked courses with all the trimmings. All courses well cooked, very tasty and great quality. We will be back... we didn't need to book this time as it was a wet and windy Wednesday lunchtime, but I think we'll book our next visit to avoid disappointment.”
“What a gem of a place! Friendly and welcoming staff. Fab selection of beers from local Elland Brewery (think it's pumped in from underground pipes!!) Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a lovely interior. Oh and the beers are very reasonably priced. I'm thinking this could be my new local!!”
“Went to a gig, Dead Belgian. Great band, the venue is small, intimate is probably what they say. Beer was outstanding at good prices. Friendly staff, bohemian good natured audience.”
“Love it here! They do the best bacon and egg sandwiches ever! My partner had the large bacon, sausage and egg and it was huge - highly recommend this for locals. Perfect place to visit on a weekend.”
“Everything was perfect. Really nice atmosphere, great food. Couldn’t have been happier”
“Fab place! We popped in for lunch on our way home to Teesside and loved it so much we decided to book into a local hotel for the night and come back in the evening for drinks! Lovely staff, great atmosphere. The food is unreal and the beer selection is next level. Thanks for a great evening and we will be back soon!”
