“I cannot recommend Luna enough! We have been visiting here since it first opened (when it was Istanbul) and we’ve never had a complaint to make. I particularly enjoy the breakfast here and order the vegetarian option every time. I love the variety of different foods on offer and it’s different because it’s Turkish based (which I love!) so it’s not just generic breakfasts and lunches etc. The Turkish bread and dips is also a firm favourite. We also bring our two children with us as there are many options for them. Our daughter loves the pancakes! The staff are always super friendly and helpful too, as are the owners who we have spoken to a few times. We love the decor and find it really welcoming and cosy. There is on street parking too so no worrying about having to pay for parking. Overall, Luna is our go to restaurant in Woolton village and has been for over ten years. Surely that says something about the food and customer service!”
“Yo. Loved it. Friendly staff. Comfy seats, nice corner tables which work for bringing young children along. Huuuuge portion for kids meals! Excellent Qozi kebab, lamb done excellently, falling off bone. All seemed fresh and cooked in an acceptable time. Tasty lentil soup starter too. Lots of good buzz in the place as people catch up and chat over food. Waiters and chefs listened well when we explainsd our food allergies, and they ensured our meals were allergen free. Cheers sakoon. God bless you all”
“My dinner is the bestttt love so much, tasty food, quality, pretty good and nice service”
“Located on Love st Chester this is a great place to try out locally brewed ales and grab a great quality meal. There are some steps to the front of the building which lead on to a very large open room with plenty of seating with smaller rooms off ,they offer master classes in all types of drinks , friendly staff and very clean”
“On walking past we decided we would go, the place was spotless we where greeted by a lovely waitress who explained how it works. The chef was also lovely I asked him for his recommendations and I was completely sold. The food not only looked good but was packed with flavour and the candles for the birthday was a nice touch appreciated.”
“I’m here right now, it's a good place with respectful Arabic staff, We are a tasty Chicken Burger with fresh fries, and also asked for a chilli sauce, it's a quiet place, and also we watched a football live show, a play between Tottenham vs Liverpool, with had Shisha and Tea.”
“Fresh, tasty sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch options. They can get busy, but also take pre-ordered via telephone and online. Some people have moaned about the price, but you are getting fresh food and the portions are pretty big too. You do get what you pay for :)”
“This guy has helped me so much with herbs and spices and what to use in my cooking endeavers. He is so helpfull and friendly, its always my go to shop for my daily needs.”
“The place has renamed itself to The Palm, I loved the different options they had on the menu and tried the Lamb Kabsah that was amazing. The portion was really big and I look forward to returning there again. I noticed some other people ordered a nan and it looked HUGE!!”
“KO Grill is my favorite restaurant on Bold Street in Liverpool. Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious, and I’ve found myself repeatedly ordering the Lamb Biryani and Half Mixed Grill — they’re that good. These dishes perfectly goes along with a refreshing Lime & Mint Juice, or Mango Lassi. KO Grill offers both Arabic and Indian cuisine, and other standout dishes I’ve enjoyed include the Lamb Mandi, Lamb Kabsa, and Mutton Karahi served with naan or roti. The portions are generous — two meals are easily enough for three people to share. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. With its great food, warm service, generous servings, and reasonable prices, KO Grill remains my top choice for dining in Liverpool.”
“The food was excellent, tasty and good value. They have a range of vegetarian and vegan options and everyone there is very friendly. It's always a pleasure to visit when I'm in Liverpool.”
“The order was delivered on time, and the food was amazing! The mixed grill and shawarma were delicious and fresh. I’ll definitely order again from Basha Restaurant.”
“Every time we have a take away the meal is excellent. We had Chicken Bhuna with egg rice, starters we had popadoms, chutney and mint sauce plus meat samosas and chicken pakora. The staff are always friendly.”
“Fresh and clean meat. Staff is very good as well.”
“Visiting Liverpool for the first time and was craving a ‘Sunday roast beef’ dinner. Found this place on google maps and it is very close to the Holiday Inn that we are staying at. We were not disappointed. £13.00 for dinner and 2 sodas came out to £32.00. They asked for payment in advance so be prepared (cash or credit). Laura did a fabulous job and was very attentive. All the staff was. Laura was friendly and listened to our stories. Hopefully she was entertained! The only complaint was that the music was too loud for us.”
“Lovely service today! We ordered takeaway for our whole team, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended!”
“We were starving and chose Comptoir as we knew it won't disappoint! I was in the mood for a stew, and their chicken and green olive tagines was amazing! This was Layton suggestion, and i am very happy i went for it. Tasty, full of fragrance, interesting and filling. My wife had the chicken taouk, which she couldn't finish, as the portions here are quite generous. Food came very quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy, and also the drinks. Over all was a very good experience specially because our waiter went above and beyond to welcome us, he's very friendly and chatty, he explained the menu and he cared for allergies and any questions we had. Oh, i almost forgot to praise their lemonades... very very good and refreshing! We'll definitely come back, thanks Leyton and the kitchen”
“Ordered a chicken schwarma on naan with salad and chips and a can of coke. 9.50 chips were 2 quid can 1 quid . Got salad and hot sauce on. Was decent, girthy and filling .better than a 20 min walk to other schwarma places”
“Best shisha in Liverpool also staffs are perfect respectful alan is best for serving”
“Delicious Vegi Fatayer. Amazing flavour, stuffed with onion, green pepper jalapenos, sweetcorn, mushrooms the lot! Free choice of sauce as well. Awesome”
“Visited for the first time today for my dinner in work. My work colleagues have had takeaway from here before they told me it was really good. The restaurant wasnt your average chargrill house, it was really warm and had a rustic vibe to it. I ordered the 6oz cheeseburger with sweet chilli sauce and fries. Being a well travelled and massive foodie I've got to say this was without a doubt the best cheeseburger I've had in years! Absolutely gorgeous food! Way better than anything else I've found in Chester even the posh new food courts where the old bus stop used to be. Staff was very friendly and explained what shwarma was to me and even let us try the cold Greek drink they serve in like a milkshake mixer free of charge to see if we liked it. 100% I will be visiting regularly from now on. My only negative thing i can think of is that I haven't been to this place sooner!”
“Brilliant place to start your day, with friendly staff and nice food”
“Absolutely fantastic food nothing was to much trouble I asked for extra onions on kebab that's what I got and the garlic mushrooms were beautiful I will definitely be returning”
“Absolutely fantastic first impression of Turkish cuisine. We had the lunch set menu (1 starter + 1 main course for £12.99, served with free savory breads) and turkish tea. The main dish portion was huge and delicious (Highly recommend their 'Kuzu Incik' lamb shank). The staff were really nice and attentive, they knew quickly when we had a request and was able to take care of it in no time. The price was reasonable & the food was halal too :)”
“Amazing food, lovely fresh quality - always send plenty of salad and sauce- it’s always fresh. I’d highly recommend the Kobeda and rice - naan is quite big for £1.50 as well”
“Thanks again for delivering all the way to L31. At 3:30am. Amazing food and service as always. Jenko.”

“We stopped by this place just by coincidence and decided to try baklava since its one of my favourite, I picked the ones in the photos, it was absolutely delicious, fresh, the perfect amount of sweetness to have with a tea, I think the best I have tried so far here in liverpool, I liked the most the one with cheese inside, lovely! I will be back for more. Yum!”
“1st time definitely won't be my last! Beyond delicious! I got 1/2 chicken and lemon drizzle cake very generous portions my only complaint is that I'm too full to go and get more!!!”
