“I came here with my nearly 3 year old on Saturday morning and spent a happy couple of hours here. My son enjoyed the selection of toys while I had a coffee. We both had a reasonably priced lunch. My son couldn't wait for daddy to get home to tell him about playing at the café.”

“Got to say first of all - non-members are welcome particularly if you’re here for the beer. Only one cask ale on at the mo and that’s Wainwright’s Amber. I’m told that’s what the regulars prefer but how can you guide them to better ales if no there’s are available? A fantastic building that should see all this RAAC concrete out. Take a look at it then get drawn inside - you won’t be disappointed.”

“Very good Liverpool pub about 10 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. 5 cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. A few tables outside. The pub has an interesting history as Kirkland's Bakery and its name comes from their slogan 'no flies in the loaf'.”

“Had a party here on Saturday 15/04 for my mum's 70th. They did a lovely hot/cold buffet that everyone enjoyed, and decorated the room beautifully. All reasonably priced too. Thank you so much, it was perfect and mum had a lovely time!”

There’s a nice outdoor area to have a drink before your meal, so I recommend going early if it’s a nice day. There’s a small car park and an onsite hotel.”

“The Tigers Head now has Landlady Tracy at the helm, and the pub has returned to being what it used be, ie a good local pub that serves good food and is all the better for it. We stayed in our motorhome on the grassed area at the rear of the pub which is free if you eat at the Tigers. Keralan Curry was particularly excellent as was the Chicken Ceasar Salad, and reasonably priced too. It would be nice to see the moho fraternity return here and support this quintessentially English pub, set in the delightful village of Norley. N.B. No need to bring supplies with you, there's a little shop opposite the pub which seems to stock everything!”

“All in all a great local place with decently priced dinks - few times as we've been, never encountered any issues at all. They do live music occasionally, also a great place to play some pool - quite a few great players frequent here.”

“Great find! Fabulous range of beers! Atmosphere was good and became electric when the fearless James started to teach us the basics of Salsa!! What a pro, we were soon gaining confidence and graduated at the end of the evening doing freestyle salsa. The process was good fun, with much laughter throughout, we thoroughly recommend the pub AND the Salsa!”
