“We ended up booking this hotel last minute—just hours before check-in—after a disappointing experience with our Airbnb. Despite the short notice, the staff at Premier Inn Rainhill were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Dave, who went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. The hotel is small and located a bit far from the city centre, but the area is peaceful and well-connected, making it a convenient choice if you're okay with a short commute. Dave made a real difference—he was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience that turned a stressful day into a comfortable one. We’ll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Liverpool!”
“I went here last night wow the pizza night was amazing best I've had in UK staff worked so hard food was second to none”
“I visited Yates Chippy after hearing great things, and I can confidently say it lives up to the hype. The customer service was brilliant, friendly, very welcoming and the food was excellent. Everything was freshly made, tasty, and served at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended”
“West had a great afternoon here. Our servers, Connor and Corey were really helpful and polite. The food was excellent! Plenty of onsite parking, large garden, dog friendly - we will definitely return soon”
“Grabbed a starbucks on Friday 21st around 8pm. Served by a lady with short pink hair and a guy I think was called Jack. Really friendly service on a very busy packed theatre day (Barbieheimmer cinema day) and nicest drinks ever? Helped with recommendations when I had no idea what to grab. Thanks guys!”
“Friendly staff, great prices, can be low on stock at busy times, but that's one of those things. The man selling Big Issue, is possibly one of the Most Polite/Happiest Men on the Planet....”
“Must be the best Chinese takeaway in Warrington. The food is so tasty. Would recommend crispy shredded beef in hot and sour sauce. The chips are proper chips too. The lad who serves is a star.”
“Excellent Italian style pizza and lasagne. Really well priced not greasy or heavy, a real gem for the town in an accessible location.”
“The best Takeaway Indian in Warrington. The stir fry kebabs are class. Every curry dish I’ve tried has been top notch (favourites are Jalfrezi, South Indian Garlic chicken & Balti) Girlfriend always gets Chicken Tikka Masala or the Korma and is always pleased with them.”
“Our 1st visit for many years. Much improved. We enjoyed our meals (scampi and steak baguette). The staff were friendly and everywhere was decorated well for Christmas.”
“Inside it has a curry house called birchwood spice and the food is very nice, the good thing here is you can separate the restaurant from the pub and have a nice drink before or after. Plenty of parking”
“What a great pub! Gorgeous food all home made and something for everyone including veggie and vegan. Lovely old place with tip staff, so friendly and helpful. Take the family next weekend”
“Visited on a quiet Sunday for lunch. We were seated right by the fire which was very welcomed with the weather being particularly cold. We were served by Georgia who was very attentive throughout. The pork sunday lunch was fantastic, gravy and the creamy leeks made it. Great price for the portions.”
“Delisious take away - been back many many times and they never disappoint. I'm vegan and they have always been great with their knowledge of the menu and dietary restrictions (on arrival to pick up the takeaway, let us know what parts of the shared courses were vegan friendly). Wouldnt go anywhere else.”
“10/10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and spa. Lots of free parking available on arrival we were offered a complimentary cookie (vegan and gluten free option available) which was a lovely touch. The spa was beautiful and treatments were amazing. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was also very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The food in the garden room was amazing thanks to the chef James and our server Ava was amazing and made sure my dietary requirements were met. Breakfast was also great. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll be back”
“Came here for Sunday Karaoke and it was brilliant! DJ was great and all the locals very friendly”
“Had our wedding/birthday event here. Staff were amazing. We ordered the buffet which was fantastic. Thanks for your hard work”
“We had beef satay sweet and sour chicken egg fried and salt and pepper chips and it’s the best Chinese we’ve had in a while it’s definitely one of the bests in Warrington”
“Lovely food, really pleasant staff. Felt really comfortable eating in there. Highly recommend.”
“Lovely food, the pizzas are hot, fresh and fully-loaded with toppings. Received food quickly and had excellent customer service from Luke and Toby. Will be happy to return!”
“We go the station house most Sundays for Sunday lunch and a few drinks. The atmosphere is very nice and chilled and the staff are very friendly. They offer good food and good service and we highly recommend going and trying it out.”
“We had a great experience at slug and lettuce with George & Kashmira serving us. They were very attentive and always bringing new drinks when we had finished. Excellent service and would 100% recommend to anyone! Can’t complain at all! Food was also delicious! (Had the full English and eggs benny)! Will be returning!! Thanks again!”
“Food piping hot and cooked to mitchelin star standard everytime. Absolutely beautiful food, tasty well presented and owners always go above and beyond to make sure everything is first class. Thankyou”
“The hotel is easy to access, and check in via Donna on reception was friendly and she had me checked in quickly. Car registrations need to be added into an iPad in reception to avoid a parking ticket. Donna also offered me a list of restaurants and local takeaways as the restaurant is closed for renovations. There is a McDonald’s next door, which does a job. There’s a coffee machine that’s free to use, with complimentary croissants in reception. Rooms are a good standard and spotlessly clean, with free toiletries via a wall mounted bottles. The free Wi-Fi is terrible and completely unusable.”
“Been going here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. Best salt and pepper chicken wings going.”
“The best fish and chips I have had for a long time.”
“Best Indian in Warrington. Food is 5 star. It's my go too when ordering on a weekend. Always delivered on time and piping hot, wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended!!!”
“Great food at a great price. Owner was very friendly and would recommend.”
“I'm very old -- I remember when it was Ridings in the 1950's. I left the area in 1959 and have lived in California for years. It was the best chippy then and I'm happy to see that it still seems to be so now :-)”
“What a great find! We arrived 8.45am Saturday morning... To a fairly typical older style open airy (plenty of seating) roadside cafe. Receiving a pleasant welcome we ordered coffee and a teacakes each.... In the time it took me to walk next door to Londis/petrol station and back for paracetamol the coffees and teacakes arrived.... Teacakes we're fresh and tasty with real butter... The coffee was dark roast good tasting and perfect strength. Value was excellent, other establishments easily £3-5 more. Casting an eye over the menu... Bearing in mind everything is freshly cooked, it was very good value. Other reviews criticing value surely cannot be comparing like for like. When I popped next door for the paracetamols the londis fuel stop included a Starbucks and Greggs, why on earth would anyone consider pre packed, long shelf life produce? Support the independents....”
