“I ate here last week while visiting West Kirby. First impression, the staff were great; welcoming, helpful and friendly (I’m disabled and use a mobility scooter). The food was delicious; I had yellow curry with tofu and rice. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for everything that makes a visit to a restaurant special.”

“My daughter and I stumbled on this restaurant run by the college and we were very pleased at the discovery. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was very clean and nicely presented. The staff are all in training, they're friendly and trying hard, so give them a little patience and they'll be good.”

“Simply excellent in all aspects of our dining experience. We stayed for two nights, eating in the 3 star restaurant on the first night and the 1 star restaurant on our second night. Both were exceptional. They are very clever chefs who ensure the dining experience is perfect. I would absolutely recommend Moor Hall to everyone, it's special.”

“A lovely unassuming fine dinning experience in a friendly, relaxed (read unstuffy) environment. Took my mother as a birthday treat for the 3 course Tasting Lunch on a Sat. Started with a Kir Champagne, followed by an amazing little appetizer, which only added to the experience. Fresh made bread like we've never tasted before. A nice glass of wine for us both. The menu is seasonal but we had starters of haddock and pork for me, followed by mains of cod loin and chicken (so succulent). Mum had an apple cheese cake and I, the cheese board, followed by a coffee. All were amazing and not too filling. Service was excellent from all staff from beginning to end. Highly recommended”

“It is extraordinary and the best restaurant in this area. Despite the fact that for 2 years in England we were disappointed in restaurants, but we really liked this restaurant. A pleasant atmosphere, excellent service staff, an incredible owner who personally approaches each table and cares about the fact that everyone was comfortable and tasty. We travel often and have enough experience to give this establishment the highest rating. I recommend this cozy restaurant for a pleasant time spent with family and friends. I wish the owners, despite their no longer young age, good health, generous guests and further development in this difficult business of running a restaurant business.”

“First visit to the high street location, used to go to Myrtle Parade. I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner. Went early doors, and the staff could not have been more helpful. My friend, who loves her Greek food, said the Tahini starter was the best she has ever had, and her pork kebab was delicious. I had hummus and a grilled sardine main. It was stunning, it takes a chef of some skill to serve up fish so well cooked. Hot bread, chips, and rice and salad, finished off with sharing a dessert. Carafes of excellent house red. Could not fault any aspect. The bill was £72 ! I was expecting it to be considerable more. Just wonderful value.”

“I’m lucky to say I’ve Lost count of how many visits we’ve made to this very special place. Every single time we visit EVERYTHING is 10/10. The food is divine and the staff make each visit so wonderful and memorable for us and it makes us want to visit time and time again. There is no other place in this city that will ever beat the dining experience of the art school. The food is not only delicious but each plate is a work of art lovingly made and delivered by some incredibly talented and friendly staff, it was lovely to see some familiar faces and had the pleasure of meeting some of the new members of the team last night, all who made our visit wonderful once again, thank you for a lovely time, as always ❤️”

“Came for a meal out with family. Our server was really attentive, friendly and helpful. One of our party was Coeliac (gluten free) and he walked her though each option - loads of choice, all pasta and pizza GF options. Really nice food and drink, atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!”

“Lovely place, took my daughter for her birthday, she’s pescatarian and there was a good choice for her. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch which was really well cooked and pink as we like it. My daughter had the herb crusted cod which looked lovely, she cleared her plate. Wine was of good quality, all in all a brilliant place for a special occasion. Portions are very big and I couldn’t finish mine regretfully as it was delicious.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! Ribeye cooked to perfection, chunky chips were really nice and cooked well. Stilton Diane sauce was also really good. The star of the show for us unbelievably was the white chocolate cheesecake with berry compote. This dessert was so light and tasted amazing, honestly one of the nicest things ive ever tasted! Served by Holly, fantastic service and friendly smile. Made sure we were looked after during our visit. Very informative and well presented. The dining area was very clean and modern, a real nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. 5 stars all round.”

“We recently visited for my son's lunch. We didn't have a reservation, but was seated straight away. He ordered the famous Scouse that came with warm crusty bread and chopped beetroot. Food came quickly, it was piping hot and tasted really good, beef and vegetables were really tender. Friendly service and we will return.”

We had the sirloin steak and chips , it was cooked to perfection and very flavoursome, chips were very nice too and the blue cheese sauce. We booked in advance and glad we did as it was starting to get busy around 4pm.”

“Our favourite Chinese restaurant in Warrington. Food is always amazing, great service and friendly atmosphere. Great value for money as well set meal £21 pp. Highlights of the menu are chicken satay skewers, duck spring rolls, prawn toast satay as a main Have been to Thailand and satay sauce is better here!”
