“The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we wanted to see for ourselves if it really deserves a 5 star review. I can definitely say that it trellis deserves more than that: from the cosy atmosphere to delicious food and excellent care from the staff, a very delightful evening was at hand.”

“Didn't know what to expect... First timers with Ethiopian food. Warmly welcomed, food explained & very tasty. No cutlery, eat with the copious Ethiopian bread & fingers. Ask about heat/spiciness if concerned - mild dishes available. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.”

“We visited Roxy on a quiet Tuesday night. We booked on for crazy pool and the staff member said we could do as many rounds as we pleased. There was only one other couple up there. We loved the crazy pool course and had a couple rounds. We even ended up staying to do ice-free curling. Again there was no time limit and we got to make full use of the space. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is both the crazy pool and ice-free curling was up a long set of stairs. Hopefully there is a lift for people who need it as the toilets were also up here.”

“I recently attended a presentation, which was hosted here, by Chris Potts about his experiences on HMS Glamorgan during 1982. It was a great evening at a lovely venue such as The Cross Keys is. We were served an absolutely gorgeous buffet half way through the evening which was well received. The staff were all very polite and efficient and at end of the evening it was my pleasure to meet the lovely owners, Tony and Hayley who went out of their way to make this a special evening. From another ex-Glamorgan, I too served on that great ship back in 1982, thankyou I will remember the evening with pleasure you are fine hosts!”

“My favourite Sheffield record shop. The regular guy that I assume owns the shop is very knowledgeable and you get a proper record shopping experience here. They seem to get the best used stock, and they have a large new vinyl section. The owner is also willing to order in new albums specifically for you, which is increasingly rare nowadays, and their returns policy is reasonable. Would recommend!”

“Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“This was a gift and we chose the shorter lunch option as we didn't have experience of tasting menus. The service was very friendly and welcoming, not intimidating at all. All the menu was explained but not in excessive detail. I had the wine pairing which was well worth it with 2 English wines included. I think this was a good value menu for the amount of detail in the cooking and number of courses . The alcohol menu is also extensive and not over priced.”

“Best Cantonese restaurant in the area, the food is the best tasting and is always high quality. The staff are so friendly, polite and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and now for Cantonese food this is the only place we ever go.”

“Was in the area for one night and came across this place on Google so thought I’d give it a go and I’m glad I did. The waitress was brilliant, she was attentive and very polite. I came in on a Monday night and she was the only waitress out front, at times I felt she was a bit overstretched but this didn’t impact my experience. There was a lot of choice on the menu which I always see as a good problem to have so you won’t go hungry. The quality of the food was great too and the portion sizes were spot on, not too little and not too much. I found this place extremely good value for money, maybe this is due to where I live but I can’t complain at the price whatsoever. If I’m ever in the area again I will come back here for sure.”

“Triple Point Brewery is one of my absolute favourites! I’m here almost twice a week sometimes with the family and it never disappoints. The beers are always spot on, and the Snake Burgers… wow, seriously tasty! Great vibes, friendly people, and just an all-around awesome place to hang out. “Excellent Italian restaurant over two floors, both rooms quite small. Very good service and delicious food; between us we tried several seafood pasta dishes, and a Caprese starter (which oddly had rocket instead of Basil, but was still very tasty). Good value wines and friendly and relaxed service.”

“We are regulars here and the food is always great. I really like the choice available on the Sunday buffet. The staff are friendly and welcoming (in the most part) we usually visit when it's quiet but it's a nice place with good value, great tasting food.”
