Romantic in Liverpool

“My wife and I spent two weeks on the boat and had a fantastic stay. We used it both as a base to explore Liverpool (it's so close to everything) and the wider North West Coast. On 'rest days' we stayed on board making the most of the beautiful weather and the Liverpool Yacht Club bar and restaurant. We thoroughly recommend it for a wonderful stay.”

“Amazing from start to finish. Food was amazing tingly tender and tasty cooked to perfection. Choices of sides are livemy. The meat just keeps coming around, service is great. Must try the cinnamon pineapple for desert. Will definitely go back!”

Stavros was incredibly polite and friendly on the phone, and that same warm attitude continued when we arrived — he greeted us with a smile and guided us to our table with genuine hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented, and it was clear that a lot of care went into the cooking. “Absolutely phenomenal! Ribeye cooked to perfection, chunky chips were really nice and cooked well. Stilton Diane sauce was also really good. The star of the show for us unbelievably was the white chocolate cheesecake with berry compote. This dessert was so light and tasted amazing, honestly one of the nicest things ive ever tasted! Served by Holly, fantastic service and friendly smile. Made sure we were looked after during our visit. Very informative and well presented. The dining area was very clean and modern, a real nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. 5 stars all round.”

“My food was really good, I got a spicy beef pasta that had Villa Romana in the name. I had a dessert from the dessert trolley too. Tiramisu! It was good but also £7.85. The service was quick and atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Main, Dessert and Soft Drink was just under £30”

“We loved this place in the Albert Dock in Liverpool. We had the Pad Thai and Massaman beef curry. They were both great. The place was bouncing at 8.30 on a Sunday night so the atmosphere was great! This is somewhere we would definitely go back to!”

“We went for a meal the service was amazing. As was the food we went for a banquet my starter was huuuge and the amount of meat was amazing also the quality of the meat! I enjoyed the tamarind sauce and they kindly gave me another 1 ! I have been a few times with him also with friends. What i thought was lovely was the lady Nas remembered us and the chef came out to say hello. We are already planning to go back next week! I would highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Really nice gem of a cafe in Stanley Park. Plenty of seating space available. Staff are very friendly and on top of clearing tables and cleaning up the cafe as the day goes. Prices were very reasonable and the portion size was more than adequate. The steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, I would happily order that again. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.”

“Very lively atmosphere with live music, good pint of Guinness it gets very busy at night be prepared to not be able to find a seat, also prices are high. But the party atmosphere makes up for it.”

From the moment we arrived,,the staff were welcoming, attentive and made us feel relaxed. everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble The food was absolutely delicious- everyone at the table loved their dishes and portions were generous. Drinks were great, the atmosphere was lively without being too loud and service friendly and professional. We all said the same thing : we’d definitely come back. “What a find just along from Penny Lane. A real hidden gem of a restaurant. Unassuming from the outside but tastefully done on the inside. Very well themed very clean and a very pleasant setting for an afternoon tea and cake, glass of wine or cocktail, small plates, or in fact an excellent range of starters, main courses, and deserts. All good portions, well presented, and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, offering an excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.”

“Went for lunch here with my sister, would highly recommend. We had the scallops, king prawns, steak tartare and beetroot to start and all the dishes were well presented and packed with flavour. We then shared a ribeye with the gravy, cauliflower cheese and cabbage. We paired our food with dirty martinis and spicy mango margaritas. Absolutely flawless food and incredible drinks, we couldn’t fault it. We were looked after by the lovely Dan, who had the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. We felt really well looked after and was able to sit back, chat and relax. Thank you to Dan for ensuring we had the perfect meal. If you’re looking for a high end dining experience with high quality food and drinks, RBG is the place to be!”

“We have stayed in Liverpool a lot of times now and always have breakfast in different places, well after eating at Bills I think we won't have to try out any more. Gorgeous food and lovely staff, a bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. We will definitely be back for more.”
