“First time trying this morning. I was blown away with how good the food was. It's such a shame on the lady that served us. Very miserable and not friendly or polite. The other lady that brought our food was lovely. I was going to knock a star off but because the food was that great. I didn't want to do that. We will be back for the food. And hopefully better service tomorrow. That's how much I enjoyed the food!”
“Great services and tasty food, nice flavour of coffee. Recommended to try once.”
“Great old style tunes. The community vibe this place had was something I’ve not seen before. They catered to all there customers with a smile. They even new most of there names. Very good service, quick and good value for money. Reviewed from a full English breakfast connoisseur! I will be back!”
“Lovely little cafe just off the high street by the bus station. Had delicious liver and grilled tomatoes - don’t eat bacon so they were very happy to replace this with the toms. Chips delicious as were the sausage sandwiches. Super friendly staff. Great value too. Cash only but there are plenty of atms around. Fed up with the same old overpriced coffee chain food? A trip here is perfect”
“Had an amazing experience at Jamz! The breakfast was fantastic, with great vegetarian options available. My cappuccino was delicious, and the meal was absolutely scrumptious. I also loved that the café is dog-friendly—this was my first time bringing a family dog to a café, and the staff made it such a welcoming and relaxing experience for both people and pets. The customer service was excellent, and I enjoyed it so much that I grabbed some bakery items to take home—they were just as good! I’ll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!”
“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”
“The service and food was lovely. Big menu, clean place, clean toilets, smiles on everyone who’s part of the crew. It was lovely! We had a brunch at almost 5 pm, lovely!”
“Amazing coffee, flavour was prestine. Although the flavour is smooth(the house blend) , don't be deceived, the coffee/ caffeine level is very, very strong so I'd recommend you don't down your double! Also very cheap”
“Station Cafe is a very pleasant place to have a coffee and breakfast. The owners and the locals are very friendly and helpful if you need some help. The food is very nice ! Long time I didn’t have an English breakfast that good. My wife took twice a Latte as it was one of the best we ever drank. You will feel at home !”
“A rainy Saturday morning, we are the only customer in the early morning. The food is good. Coffee is tasty! The full English come with egg, it is not on the menu because typo, please check with the staff. For sure we will come again with my doggy next time!”
“Olga makes this place special. Best coffee in London, best breakfast/ lunch spot. Feels like home.”
“This is my favourite place whilst working to pop in for a quality coffee and snack. The paninis are always good and their homemade quiches are the best I have had with huge portions too. It's a small independent cafe, the owner and staff are always happy to see you. I would much rather go here than a high street chain.”
“Efficient and friendly staff, generous portions, good food ... what's not to like?”
“I highly recommend this cafe , friendly service, food is excellent quality and good portions.”
“It's simply one of the best coffee shops in Hackney. Really, they do great coffee. It's also a carefully curated grocery, where each bottle of wine, beer and food is chosen with a keen and discerning eye. The owners are lovely people, proud to call it my local coffee shop!”
“I have never ever liked matcha but the owner made me a matcha drink to try and it was INSANE. The only person who was able to change my views on matcha. Besides that the place was very clean and the food was tasty and the owners were lovely and looked after us well. Would definitely become a regular go to spot. 10/10”
“Stumbled across this amazing restaurant and had an absolutely delicious dinner here! Fabulous flavours and perfect spice levels. Lovely and attentive hosts. Thank you - we highly recommend!”
“Great place for a lovely breakfast in sunny day have indoor and outdoor area. Very friendly owner. Nice coffee and panini! Very good price. May find free parking nearby!”
“It is a lovely place where me and my friends have went for the past year in between our lessons in sixth form. The Owner is always incredibly friendly and kind and the food tastes incredible no matter the day (especially the panini’s and milkshakes). I would greatly recommend it as a stop for if you want a quick drink or are looking for a nice bite to eat with a friendly atmosphere.”
“I had two cakes for a birthday party - coffee cake and a Victoria sandwich. Both cakes were amazing - so delicious !! Great service and affordable ! and I will definitely be ordering again !”
“Popped in today greeted by two really polite guys. Didn't have time to sit in so ordered two of the breakfasts to go. Well packaged great value at £10 per breakfast. Hot and given cutlery and wipes too. Will definitely pop in again when I have a bit more time. Oh and a big plus they use proper butter on their toast unlike most places using cheap spreads.”
“Tasted authentic and spice level was perfect. Felt like in Lankan. The blend of spices and everything was so good. I tried lamprais and chicken kotthu, you can tell a lot of effort and time was spent making the dish. Friendly service, Wonderful experience and will recommend.”
“Wow, the most delicious feta mini quiche ever! What a find! So much to choose from beautifully presented sweet and savory produce too. Lovely smiling staff. A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! Highly recommended ( take away available too). JM”
“The chai latte that I bought this morning was perfect For this cold weather, excellent aromas and spices and company need the warm drink very well”
“Great food, cheap prices and fantastic customer service.”
“Friendly family run cafe in Catford, lots of options on the menu. Kids love coming here & my favourite is the tuna & cheese panini or one of the set breakfasts.”
“The best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. I normally have Priory Cafe breakfast with the smoke salmon and I absolutely love it ☺️. Great atmosphere from the cafe owners and simply the best cafe on the Ruislip High Street!”
“Amazing find in Richmond for an Italian or even a Greek coffee. Amazing desserts and the best bacon and egg sandwich in London.”
