“Plenty of open space and wooded areas to explore, with the well appointed hub for all your other needs(cafe, toilets), and a great play park for the kiddies. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“I cannot recommend North London Furniture highly enough. The owners, Mark and Laura, are extremely kind, personable, professional and knowledgeable. Their many years of experience really shine through: they offered unbiased advice, explained various options and gave me their professional opinion, which turned out to be absolutely correct. I have long-standing back problems, but after several months of sleepless nights and wrong mattress purchases I finally received the best advice and found the right mattress. The delivery was punctual and to the actual bedroom, despite it being upstairs. The mattress recommended by Mark and Laura was life-changing for me, and within a couple of nights I was practically pain-free. Moreover, prices are extremely affordable for what are clearly very good quality items. I will definitely be recommending this shop to friends and family, and plan to go back for other items of furniture soon. Thank you so much!”

“Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“Small but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if it’s raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.”

“This is a grand hotel. Impeccable service. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Rooms are very quiet. Bed are grand and rooms adequate. Location is fabulous, as it sits across from Hyde Park. Two tube stops nearby, only a few steps from the hotel entrance. Restaurants within two blocks provide varied menus, which is good since restaurant at the hotel has a limited menu and subpar service. Highly recommended overall.”

“Hotel was great from the staff to the room cleanliness. My hubby is a diamond member and we got upgraded to a queen premium corner room which had a pretty view. It was my birthday and they had a lovely note written for me on the desk. There was also a piece of cake as well! However, the location didn’t seem that convenient for tube access. Most of the places we wanted to go had us always using the Westminster station which was 17-20 minutes away from the hotel. Pimlico station is about 10 min away but it was never an option when we looked up directions. Maybe I’m just used to the NYC subway system where there seems to be entrances everywhere. Side note: This has nothing to do with the hotel, but we were walking back from dinner the first night, maybe 2-3 or so blocks away from the hotel, when some (insert explicit word here) on an e-bike came up from behind and snatched my husbands phone right out of his hand! So even though it is a nice quiet area, please be careful!”

“From the moment we arrived at The Cumberland Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. Our stay was simply wonderful — every detail seemed to be taken care of with genuine care and attention. A huge thank you goes to the VIP team, led by Antonella and Martina, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel like true guests of honor. The kids were absolutely thrilled with their little surprises — it was such a thoughtful touch that made them feel extra special. Seeing their smiles made our stay even more meaningful. And as for me, I was deeply touched by the lovely birthday treatment — from the kind gestures to the personalized surprises, everything was done with such heart. It’s rare to find a team that puts so much effort into making guests feel celebrated and appreciated. The hotel itself was fantastic — comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located — but it’s really the people who made this experience stand out. Thank you, Antonella, Grace, Martina, and the whole Cumberland team, for creating such beautiful memories for our family. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!”

“Yank visiting London!! After the long haul across the pond we wanted something that wouldn’t be overly strenuous, but allow us to see some of the sights of London with a great dinner experience. The Bateaux London didn’t disappoint! We had an amazing dinner and couldn’t have ask for better service from Jason Davey our waiter. Seeing the sights from a different perspective along the Thames River was stunning. The sights alone were enough but the dinner was superb. We upgraded and did the Platinum dinner and well worth it! This was a great first day to start our trip and highly recommend!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Without exaggeration, this small, simple restaurant, I can say that it is among the best restaurants in London. “One of the best spots in the area for breakfast! The food was great, and the service was beyond friendly. I had the Big Breakfast and asked to swap out the tomato and mushroom — no issues at all, which was much appreciated. Prices were very reasonable, especially for breakfast in London. Would definitely come back!”

“I have been coming here for a while. Cosy Italian restaurant. Very reasonably priced. More traditional than the chain restaurants. Anything I have ordered has always been good, especially the pasta. “Amazing food with beautiful presentation and incredible flavours. They have a menu and a smaller specials menu which changes each time we go. Alexander (the Maidre D.)is always on hand to recommend specific dish and drinks combinations and is a charming host. He is also incredibly helpful providing allergy information and delicious vegan options. This is a firm family favourite and it never fails to impress whether dining in or as a delivery. Guests we bring here love it, it really is an amazing find. I can't fault it, Indian food at its finest, absolutely delicious.”

“The Lansdowne — Where Gastropub Meets Grace Tucked into a leafy corner near Regent’s Canal, The Lansdowne is one of those rare London pubs that feels both intimate and expansive. With its Mediterranean-inspired menu, Victorian charm, and laid-back elegance, it’s a place that quietly impresses — and keeps you coming back. Why it’s a “wow”: Seasonal dishes with flair — think grilled octopus, burrata, and slow-cooked lamb Wood-fired pizzas — crisp, smoky, and generously topped Excellent wine list and local ales — curated and well-balanced High ceilings, vintage mirrors, and soft lighting — a visual treat Friendly, professional service — attentive without being overbearing”

“We were arranged by the British Airways as our flight was delayed. We arrived at check in counter at about 6:00 pm, all the check in process is smooth and efficient, the staff is nice to gave us the meals coupons and recommended us to take the right time shuttle bus to airport in order to catch the flight tomorrow morning. The hotel renovation is fair, the decoration hanging on the wall of the corridor is unique. The room is clean and spacious, bed & the quilting is comfy, environment is quiet. There have fridge, kettle & the shower have great water pressure, the only thing I concern is the hair dryer is so poor. The experience over all for us is very good and we will recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“Stayed at this Holiday Inn just South of Regents Park near the heart of London for 5 nights at yhe close of August 2025.. It's close to the tube & other forms of public transportation aa well as pubs, restaurants, cafes, museums, etc. etc. The hotel hallways were a bit dated but the rooms were nicely appointed with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet had everything except an omelet station. Their coffee machines made any type of hot drink imaginable. I had a couple of cappuccino every morning & they were much better than Starbucks. Their restaurant & bar were open until 11p.m. & room service was almost all day. For the price, this hotel just can't be beat for its location & amenities. Lastly, the staff were always dressed to the nines & incredibly polite & helpful. Book your next stay in London & you'll be glad you did.”

“Really enjoyed our breakfast here! There was a great variety of fresh food, and the buffet was always well-stocked. The pastries were warm, fresh, and looked amazing. It’s a very family-friendly place too — there’s a little toy area for kids in the restaurant, which was a nice touch. Our table was downstairs, and we found a cozy little reading corner tucked away with lots of books. It made the whole space feel extra inviting. The staff were all really friendly and polite, and everything just felt well taken care of. Would definitely come back!”

“I recently stayed two nights at Ibis London Excel Docklands while attending a business event at Excel London and I had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the venue, which made attending the event very convenient. The team was friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. Overall, a great stay in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Excel London for business or leisure.”

“Beautiful cafe in the middle of East Ham, I can work relaxed in this environment and deal well with stress here. The decor is lovely, slightly pricy but an oasis in a very busy area.”
