“The 5 stars is for 2 of the swimming teachers in particular - Patryk and Alfie teaching the 4:30 Monday beginners class. Absolutely excellent! They're actively in the pool with the kids, and the attention they give to each individual's ability is brilliant. We're so so pleased with our daughter's progress, (and also the growth in confidence that's come with it). Many MANY thanks to them!”

“A friend recently invited me to a midweek 2 hour spa session. The greeting at reception (Teesha) set the tone for a truly relaxing catch up. The relaxing area was very peaceful and the sauna and steam room were well maintained.”

“Having used the Malden centre since I was a child it has always been a community based venue. I found Mohammed at the reception most helpful with bookings very polite and professional. The website could be clearer about how to book as sometimes slots are not showing.”

“Good swimming pool with sauna and steam room. Gets understandably busy during school holidays so best to avoid those times! Plenty of changing cubicles, enough lockers and there are private showers and some hair dryers. Coffee shop has good selection of sandwiches and paninis which staff are happy to heat up. Some swimwear and accessories are available to purchase in the reception area. Plenty of parking.”

“All the staff only instance, Chris, very knowledgeable and friendly. Really great atmosphere and assistance should you need it is always available. All in all a great place to relax and do excercise. Today Sue at reception was extremely helpful at the entrance turnstile, very friendly and courteous. Callum a swimming instructor was extremely helpful when I had a query regarding the swimming lanes, am absolute gentleman”

“Very helpful Reception staff. Informed me about the 'concession card' for my daughter who has a disability. The card can be used in any Leisure Centre and the carer goes in free.”

“I love this place, it's great store to get woman's sports wear and "related" clothes. There's normal fashion too, but it's the sports wear that's really the selling point here. Trendy, fashionable ladies sports wear, at a good price, and designed to fit everyone, rather than skinny millennials.”

“I’ve been coming here for an year now and to be very honest I love it! In terms of ambiance is fantastic, I see quiet a few regular faces at the time that I visit and the team is friendly and very supportive (they had to cut my locker twice due to me loosing the key during training) in terms of equipment is very well equipped and in great conditions.”

“Incredible amneity in the area. Sure, it's not perfect but there's a large pool for lengths, separate toddler and fun pools. Sauna, steam room. Great soft play. Easy to book it all online. I think most of the negative reviews complaining about cleanliness would be more appropriate for £100+/month gyms, which Wavelengths just is not. I've not noticed the soft play being dirty, nor the pools themselves.”

“Great local amenity with a 33.3 meter indoor pool (for those with confused fitness trackers) a smaller outdoor pool and teaching pool for kids, it is now kept clean and well maintained considering it is a public pool. The swimming changing facilities have been upgraded, and they offer great showers in a clean area. While the gym is a bit tired, there are plans for renovations and upgrades. The reception staff are friendly and have a great sense of humour, especially considering some of the flak they get from a handful of grumpy visitors. Parking is pricey, so public transport is the best way to go. Simple booking system, so book in advance or phone if you want to be sure to get a swim. Limited spaces which makes it much easier for lane swimming. 250 capacity for swim and stay sessions in outdoor pool, so check weather and book on sunny day.”

“Amazing gym, near home and friendly people. I've been welcomed from the first day by all the members of staff, including Nauris, my PT which I already had a few sessions with and I already can say that is one of the best PT I ever had.”

“Rachel is an amazing swim teacher. I’m older and have knee problems, so I was nervous about starting lessons. From day one, she made me feel comfortable and safe in the water. She adjusted every exercise to fit what I could do. She focused on gentle movement and steady progress. She never rushed me but always encouraged me to keep going. Now I move more easily and feel stronger after every session. Rachel’s patience and support have made a huge difference in my confidence and mobility.”

“I attended the BETTER Classes, lead by Jackie who is a friendly approachable instructor. Also has years of experience so can guide you as needed. After a health issue I was losing confidence, but enjoyed the class and regained confidence in myself and what I can do to improve my health and lifestyle. “Really great gym. Spa and pool facilities are superb. Gym itself is not as big but has quite a lot of equipment. Love the group classes the most, really great mixture and timings. Staff is always polite and helpful. Customer service has been also super responsive and they are taking their members feedback really seriously. Highly recommended!”

“I think this shop has been open since before I was born. Used to come here a lot as a kid, so glad to see it reopen post-lockdown. I come here to get all my games and consoles, staff are quite friendly and knowledgable and seem like the kind of people you can have a good chat with.”

Second time I went back to exchange an item, the lady at the till was able to process the return in an instant and I was gone in five minutes. “Great big thank you the team at the centre, in particular the manager (whos name I've forgotten, sorry). We requested at very short notice to hire the fitness studio for a last minute rehearsal. The manager was very nice to deal with, and went the extra mile to accomodate our requests. Even allowed us to use the bigger gym space when we realised our numbers were so many that the studio space was too small. Fantastic experience. Thank you again”

She explained everything clearly and made the whole place feel welcoming from the start. The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable to train in. There’s a good variety of machines and plenty of space, which makes workouts feel smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it’s been a great start.”

“The shop is packed with different styles of sports shoes , staff very helpful and always available for help. The shop floor is clean considering the amount of people visiting every day. I have noticed the staff always reorganising the shoes boxes as people move them around and ofcourse they never put them back in the right order. There also a good selection of football shoes . Well worth the visit”
