“We were here for my daughter’s pizza making birthday party. Although there were some issues with finalising the details prior to the party, on the day of the party itself, my daughter and her classmates all enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Each child received a starter, their own designed pizza and dessert. The party was mainly managed by Julianna who was a great host in making sure everything went through smoothly without it feeling rushed.”

“Chiktopia is a good place to sit in, fresh decor, bench style tables.I enjoyed the vanilla milkshake compared to other places. The skinny fries tasted full of flavour and not bland. The chicken burger was actually delicious as well! There are also self-service machines where you can order your food items for dine-in and or takeaway. Scan the table placard and put it on your table. Service was pretty quick, polite staff. Good job for your first opening at Lakeside!”

“Came on a Tuesday evening and it was a really nice atmosphere, not overly busy and very quick service. The staff were extremely quick to correct my order when I forgot to mentioned removing a sauce that I didn't like, they were very quick to bring out a new burger and made me feel like it wasn't a bother for them even though I felt so bad! We will definitely be back!”

The atmosphere is calm and cozy, with soft lighting and comfy seating — perfect for reading, working, or catching up with friends. The coffee is rich and smooth, especially the cappuccino and flat white. You can tell they care about quality, and the baristas usually get it just right. I also like their pastries and paninis — fresh, warm, and tasty without being too expensive. Service is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. Some locations can get crowded, especially around lunchtime, but there’s usually space if you're patient. Overall: A great spot to relax with a well-made coffee and a bite to eat. It feels a bit more relaxed and personal than some other chains. ⭐ Rating: 9/10”

“I do love wilko I always end up spending more than I intend to. They have such a wide range of items in here as it's quite a big one. Everything is neat and its easy to find items. The staff are helpful when you need something however, there never seems to be enough staff as I'm always looking around for one whenever I'm in there. The shop is super bright so it looks more spacious. I always find things I need in there.”

“As far as soft plays go, this is one of the best for quality and value for money. Like most soft plays it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s always clean, it feels safe and the play spaces are well thought out. I appreciate that, in addition to the baby soft play and the giant “big kid” play area, there’s a middle area suitable for 2-4 year olds which has low height climbing frames that feel safe but are challenging for that clumsy walking stage. The food there was surprisingly adequate and they have various birthday party packages.”

“Great experience from start to finish. In store representative was helpful, with lots of knowledge to what we needed. Delivery team were on time, very accommodating to what was needed. The beds themselves are like laying on clouds.”

“We were served by Scott today and he was very friendly and helpful. My mum managed to get her curtains and cushions from the Thurrock store and we loved having a good look round all the departments. We also had a pot of tea in the cafe which was lovely. There’s so much to browse in store that we need a tea break! Dunelm is one of our favourite shops and we always head there first for beautiful quality housewares.”

Although the staff were superb I think £11 is steep. I do however recommend the place. I do hope the staff actually get the £11 and not the fat cats at the top.”

“We were seated fairly quick even with the normal Friday rush. And plush we had our little one and push. Got seats which had plenty of space for all of us. Food came quick and friendly helpful staff. Easy to order via the app or online so no need to wait in the queue to order food.”

“We had the best Nandos we’ve ever had here, we’re from up north and have traveled quite a lot so we’ve been to many Nando’s!. It was so hot I had to blow my food before eating! Really impressed and made our weekend. We did have to que to get in as there’s not a lot of space.”

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming in special Milon was an amazing person and went above and beyond to make sure my meal was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself was clean and had a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a quick bite. I highly recommend German Doner Kebab to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience - you won't be disappointed”
