“My first time trying Mexican food in London, and it was the perfect way to end my trip! I had the HALAL beef birria and empanadas — absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying. I even ordered HALAL chicken empanadas to take with me on the plane. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty HALAL and vegan Mexican options!”

“This restaurant is superb. Everything is homemade, even the chilli and garlic sauces, and the meat is wonderfully spiced and flavoursome. It is family run and operated and the pride that goes into the food and service is apparent. I would not hesitate to dine here again and to recommend this place to friends and family.”

“Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.”

“Managed to turn up and seat a group of 9 last Saturday evening. Service was fab - thanks Petero for looking after us! Very quick out with drinks and food. Had to send back corn on the cob as not warm enough but they sorted it super quick. Otherwise great. Lovely cocktails, delicious food. Kids meal was great value and the churros were really tasty. Super fresh, authentic flavours (those corn tortillas were amazing) felt like someone’s grandma had fed me. I had the fish, my friend had the chicken, both delicious. The vibe is chill, the staff are lovely, and shoutout to Connor behind the bar super attentive and clearly loves what he does. We ended up calling another friend to join us because we were having such a good time. She got the sea bass ceviche and was just as impressed. Later we headed downstairs where a DJ was playing great music, great energy, felt like a real community vibe. Definitely my new go to for an after work drink or quick bite. Some reviews complain about portion sizes, but this place is about quality over quantity. For central London, the price is great and the food’s the real deal. Plus, £1 tacos when you order a cocktail? Say less. We’ll be back for sure.”

“There was a lovely young lady I could tell as soon as I entered the store this is because of the way she greeted me as I entered the shop this was my first time trying tortilla so I asked her for advice and she politely listed the menu and asking what I was looking for and what I liked. She was getting to know type of meal I wanted and was telling me how the wraps tasted and the other meals . She was very patient with me as I was indecisive and I am a very picky eater anyone else usually gets impatient and irritated when I ask questions as I am new to this country staying here for couples of months. Due to her being so kind a thoughtful I will definitely be returning to this place for the food and to be greeted by her warming atmosphere she provides. I ended up taking a quesadilla which tasted amazing! Give her a pay rise!!”

I usually expect all Chipotle locations to taste about the same since my experiences have been pretty consistent, but this one was different. The chicken was tender, and the rice was cooked perfectly. I’m not sure why, but it tasted noticeably better than the other Chipotles I’ve tried. But this location does give smaller portions, and I can see why there are many reviews mentioning that. Despite that, the food itself was definitely more delicious than usual.”
