“Swim weekly at this pool. Since being taken over by Better in January 2024, the staff, upkeep and management of the pool has really improved. There are more times to swim, the pool is a good temperature, and the facilities during the day are very clean and tidy. Changing rooms recently repainted and repairs always taking place, which is very different to previous management by Fusion. The staff are friendly and reliable, and there’s a community of regulars. It’s an old pool but very welcoming and suits me perfectly. My child also has swimming lessons here and it’s a delight seeing her progress from a splashy mess to a decent back-crawl in nine months - the changing room is dirtier during evening lessons but that’s because parents/carers and children leave their shoes on.”

“I have being sending Barney to Halo Dogs for around 2 years, and trust me when I say if Barney didn't like it he wouldn't go. The team at HALO are amazing and look after Barney as though he was their own, when Barney comes back from Day School I can just tell he has had a fun actioned packed fun day. I am also really appreciative of the pick up and drop off service from my home or my work place, the ease of the booking system and the the general organisation of how Halo Dogs runs. Barney and I highly recommend Halo, while you dog is living their best life, you can rest assure that your dog will be in very safe and caring hands.”

“We had a company corporate day here and it was incredible. We were really looked after by everyone at WakeUp Docklands. They catered for the newbies and also the experienced amongst us. I would fully recommend this for any corporate events and days. Bar was well stocked and we were able to get in pizza from next door. Really amazing day and we'll be back for sure!”

“Large playground with something to suit all ages. Does get very busy during holidays but it’s easily accessible in the park with a small steam train next door one side and a splash park the other. Also there is a nice and friendly cafe next to the park with hot or cold food.”

“Amazing park! I cannot believe we have been so many times in Bushy Park but never in this area! Everything was beautiful! The pond, the wildlife (friendly squirrels coming to eat food from your hands everywhere). The autumn trees and wonderfully coloured leaves were gorgeous.”

“This review is long overdue as I finished lessons with Turner last year - and have been swimming once or twice a week since! :) Huge thank you to Thomas, an amazing asset to the Turner team - Thomas' honesty meant I was fully aware from the beginning of the big undertaking of learning to swim given my water phobia - but he stuck with me through the process and we eventually got there! Learning to swim was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but I also had a LOT of fun and really looked forward to my bi-weekly lessons. It's a big commitment as a complete beginner, you may laugh and cry, but if you're willing to put in the work, Thomas and team are professional, patient and lovely and will 100% get you there. Hoping to return in the future to learn the breaststroke!”

“Visited a resident here and they had a view that overlooked these gardens and the Guildhall of Music. Residents here get to walk about this whole complex, listen to the music from the Guildhall etc. The steps up to the apartments, though, are like something from a Michael Cain movie!”

“A pleasant and well maintained garden in the centre of the roundabout, with two sculptures and some benches. The traffic is not too busy so it is quite peaceful here. There are toilets here too.”

“A very nice children playground. There are plenty of activities for children. Children can bring a ball to play with or a scoop to play in the sand. Every family can enter for around 70-90 minutes. And can return for another timeslot, with an hour between play sessions. There's a toilet and also a tap water to drink there.”

“Verulamium Park in St Albans is a lovely mix of open green spaces, rich Roman history, and fun activities for all ages. You can stroll by the peaceful lake, explore ancient ruins like the Roman wall and mosaic floor, or enjoy the children’s playground and splash park. It is a great spot for families, picnics, and relaxed afternoons surrounded by nature and heritage.”

“Beautiful park, lots of lovely walking routes, play park area with water splash facilities, basketball court, tennis courts, outside gym and cafe. It's a really lovely park and would definitely recommend to use the walk/ jogging routes.”

“The Restaurant offers 360 degree vantage over the whole park giving you the chance to see clise uo what the next generation athletes are doing and you can learn around the very best here whether it's Kayaking or White water , from novices who have never done this before or an adventurer who had that experience whilst on holiday somewhere. Action packed fun filled adventure with water. The Restaurant offers healthy optional foods snacks and lots of refreshments on offer. Very friendly staff and don't forget the parking is free if you buy food there it's on your receipt just scan the code on your phone and enter the code on your receipt. “Great little area which is attached to the ecological park. It has great views from Canary Wharf as well as back to The City. Sometimes people using the stairs to exercise can overtake things. It’s great to sit up on top of the hill on a lovely summer’s day.”

“The Hyde Park located in Central London is one of the finest places to visit for any tourist or resident of the city. It is a huge park spread over several acres of land. It has open spaces where you can see walkers, joggers, cyclists, pets, people playing and pedestrians enjoying the view and nature. Many musical and social activities are conducted here. A large Lake called Serpentine Lake adorns the Park where boating and swimming at select places is available. The park also has landmarks such as Diana Memorial Fountain, Speakers’ Corner, Holocaust Memorial etc. One can watch ducks and other flora and fauna as we walk through. A visitor can enjoy food and drink at the Serpentine Cafe. A pleasure to visit.”

“The most gorgeous park in central London. Usually you can find a bench to seat on, enjoy the wildlife and beautiful gardens. It’s really not as crowded as you would expect, unless it’s a hot day/holidays. The park is really well maintained, amazing for people who like watching birds.”

“Regent’s Park in London is one of the most beautiful royal parks, covering about 395 acres. The park has around six main entry gates, including Chester Gate, York Gate, and Clarence Gate, making it easy to access from different sides. It features stunning rose gardens, wide walking paths, a boating lake, children’s play areas, and the famous London Zoo. A perfect place for walking, picnics, and enjoying nature in the city.”

“huge park with loads of little areas to visit, get a bike if u can. palace was a bit of a bummer cause the whole facade was under renovation, saw Queen Victoria’s statue, proceeded to miss Diana’s then ran around the pond to visit her memorial (which is small!) it’s just a really great place to wind down after traipsing around the city like mad rats the whole day. loads of birds here, including ducks, swans and geese for the occasional bird watcher.”

“Always lovely to walk around the lakes. You can also see the water ski. They are building a new bridge to the other play area but it’s not finished yet and is still fenced off as of yesterday. You have to walk the long way around.”

“Amazing and beautiful park for walks with your dog. It has a lot to offer not only to pet owners but also to parents or anyone who enjoys nature 2h free parking included but remember to take a ticket even for free period. There are at least 2 cafe points there, these are a bit pricey but they have good coffee.”

“I visited Black Country Park this past Sunday morning to try the Go Ape Treetop Challenge, and it completely exceeded my expectations. My young cousin and I had an amazing time navigating the treetop obstacles, ziplines, and rope courses. The layout provided just the right balance of challenge and fun for all skill levels. I’d especially like to thank Abdul, our instructor, for his excellent guidance. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we understood all safety procedures clearly. His supportive presence throughout the course gave us extra confidence to push ourselves. While £85 for two people may seem steep at first glance, the experience was absolutely worth it. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with peaceful woodland surroundings that make you forget you’re still in London. My cousin hasn’t stopped talking about our adventure, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend Go Ape to anyone looking for an exciting outdoor activity. It’s perfect for families, friends, or even team-building outings. Tip: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and book ahead as sessions tend to sell out quickly!”

“An absolute must do - what an experience, fantastic fun and thrill. With thanks to Ori and All the staff that were so helpful (and patience with us during the instruction and early stages, Cat was amazing) but we got the hang of it... We smashed it and loved every moment! After the first two stages we were on our own, which gives you freedom to enjoy the experience with friends or family - though a little daunting at first, but the Go Ape staff are always about below and a whistle away! P.S, I'd suggest gloves as a must, and definitely zipped pockets or belt pouch/lanyard phone holder, so you can keep these moments with you!!”
