“Wonderful grooming experience for my mini schnauzer, who had had a very distressing grooming experience prior to this which resulted in her getting stress colitis and having to have a course of antibiotics. This was the first time that she had been cut with a very sympathetic 'schnauzer 'cut. The groomer is very respectful of what the owner wants for their dog and in the care of the dog. I would highly recommend The Pet Club.”

“We have been with Walton Road Veterinary Centre for a while now. Our recent visit was incredibly reassuring, Yvonne saw us straight away as we have a senior cat and he was displaying some distressing symptoms. I'm pleased to say he's back to his usual self now. Having been registered with a local vet prior and having a hard sell experience I can honestly say the difference is night and day, Yvonne is genuinely more concerned for the animals wellbeing so I would highly recommend.”

“My wife and I loved our Sunday night stay at the Mitre Hotel. What did we like? Wonderful situation on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary and generous glass of wine on arrival. Large, comfortable and quiet room - we were upgraded to The Royal Mews (many thanks for that) - with complimentary coffee, biscuits etc. Excellent breakfast buffet taken in the lovely round room with wonderful views of the Thames. Settle in Sunday is a really great deal. Would we stay at The Mitre again? Like a shot!”

“We recently brought our dog, Athena, in for a visit and couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. They took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure Athena was comfortable throughout the entire visit. What really stood out was the excellent follow-up care—we even received a check-in call to see how she was doing, and they were quick to answer any questions we had afterward. The fact that they’re available on weekends is a sixth star in itself! It’s such a relief to know we have access to quality care even outside of the typical workweek. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Athena—we’ll definitely be back and are so grateful to have found a place we can truly trust.”
