“This was my third Chinese visa application and the first since the introduction of the Online Approval System. I submitted my application online and within 24 hours I was informed that my application needed amending. After re-submitting the application, it was approved within 2 hours. I went to the visa centre in person a few days after and I was all done within an hour. Pick up of my passport and visa was three days later on the regular service and the collection took less than half an hour. Solomon on the front desk is a lovely guy!”

“I recently visited for my Passport Renewal Appointment and the price I had to pay was 85.44 GBP for a standard application. I had a really great experience at this VFS Centre and the queue was organized in an efficient manner and the staff were very polite. From the gentleman at the front, organising the queue outside to the staff at each booth. I booked in for the 8:30am slot and I'd recommend booking for a morning appointment as it is less crowded. Although I made a mistake regarding the second address (has to be UK address) Shabnam at Counter 4 was really kind and patient with me! I had gone out to re-print the application form and she was waiting patiently for me, which was very sweet of her. She was also quick and efficient processing all my documents, and it was a really smooth process. If you upload all the required documents online and have the photocopies of the same, you should be good to go. Hoping my new passport reaches me soon!”

“Well run and well coordinated. They open early affording a wider choice of time slots for visa appointments. Staff is very helpful in answering questions for submissions and for collections. Ticketing system needs enhancement as the waiting times are very misleading perhaps due to frequency of updates and queue movement between the gaps.”

“I have never had any issues with the staff. I must say the service is really fast and convenient. I applied for a visa by post and and the process was 3 days from when I sent it to when I received it. I posted for next day delivered and returned. Posted on a Tuesday and received it back on a Thursday same week. Tell me which other embassy can do that? I once applied by post but did not put in all documents. My documents were sent back including the application fee. Try doing that with the UK embassy or US embassy and see how long it will take to get a reply or if you will see you money. Credit should be given when earned. Well done and carry on with the good job. I am happy for the good job you guys are doing. Improvements will always come at some point. Rome was not built in a day.”
