“Me, my husband, our 4 young children and our pooch really enjoyed our lunch at this warming village pub. There was a lovely beer garden outback perfect for our dog, with a climbing frame and slide for the kids. We ordered 2 adult mains and dessert, and 3 childrens meals with icecream which cost us less than £25 (drinks an extra £16) the woman who served us was very polite and helpful. We would defenatly recommend and we will certainly be back the next time we're visiting the village.”

“Me and my son booked a room last minute, as soon as we arrived we were amazed at the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and very clean throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was perfect, the bed was made all towels were provided and tea and coffee was there. The bathroom was great had soap and shower gels shampoo etc no signs of mould or dirt.. Extremely clean and very well presented. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a warm welcome 10/10”

“Reasonable price food in a nice & clean place. Tried almost all from the menu, including the new ribs grill & rice. Delicious. Have to make sure they cook it well done if you don't like rare. I like rare, so didn't complain.”

“Amazing night! The vibe in the Rave Room was on another level — the DJ was absolutely fantastic. Non-stop energy, perfect transitions, and tracks that kept everyone moving all night. One of the best rave experiences I’ve had. Will definitely be back!”

“Stayed here one night while on business in the area. Room was fantastic bed was very comfy and the shower was brilliant. Check was excellent the lady there was very helpful. Car park is very small and if you’re not careful you will get blocked in, just bear it in mind. Can imagine it gets rowdy at the weekend as it bang in the centre, but mid week was fine and I slept well.”

“Never had food, but a good atmosphere, prices are decent by Wellingborough standards. Service is good, but could do with some staff who look a bit friendlier and not like they want to be at home every shift. In town, so a good place to go if you're going about town for a night out. Usually has security during the evening on weekends, so if you look under 25, make sure you bring ID.”

“Great Djs, great music, hilarious security guards! All the staff here was so lovely and we even got a shout out for my mates birthday! The drinks were reasonably priced too. Would definitely go back here again.”

“Great food, the Buffet is amazing value. The Staff were very friendly. If I had to say something slightly negative, I would suggest that the room could be a little bit warmer. All in all I would highly recommend.”

“Not a review on the hotel but on the pub/restaurant... Visited here after my sons christening. They don't usually cater for parties or do a buffet but we used the normal menu and put together a buffet table, I agreed order in advance so they had everything ready and prepared for when we got there and all I had to do on the day was pay. Jonas was great helping to arrange things and David in the kitchen on the day gave amazing service and food was fantastic. Everyone had a great time and left with full bellies. Nothing was too much bother and they reserved an area for us which was perfect. Would highly recommend coming here for a meal and for larger groups. Thank you too the staff for making our day perfect”

“Met with family to have a meal. The menu was very versatile and 90% available. Something for everyone. Ordering was a simple process, order and pay at the bar. Nice coffee too. Service was good. Staff friendly and polite. Our food was served in good time and was delicious. The place was clean and well maintained. At the time of our visit, it was quiet which was great for us to have a nice chat and relax after a long day travelling for a family member's funeral.”

“Popped in for some lunch only to find there was a craft fair going on inside! Couldn't resist doing a bit of xmas shopping whilst waiting for my food. Service was great, food was out quickly and really hit the spot. Will need to follow their socials more so I don't miss the next event they have on!”

“We last came a few years ago and it was horrendous. This visit couldn't have been more different! Every single member of staff was polite, friendly, helpful, patient and informative. We didn't feel rushed. My elderly Dad was brought a chair when he needed to sit down to finish his drink. My personal highlight was being informed when the people who had ordered carvery should go up, because the rest of the food was coming. The music wasn't too loud, there were clean plates all round - the food was brilliant! The drink and mains discount were the icing on the cake. We love you have a dog friendly section too! There's only one tiny thing I could suggest on improving on, and that's that the glasses for the water opposite the carvery all looked dirty/water marked, but that's being picky. We'll definitely be back, and bringing our rescue dog too! 10/10!”

“Went for Saturday morning breakfast as fancied a bit of a treat, and we were not disappointed. Breakfast choice was ample and can definitely recommend the sausages and hash browns! (YUM). Service was rapid and only reason for scoring the atmosphere 4/5 was that the music could have been more up beat than what we heard at the time we were there (but still good to have the background music). Highly recommend.”

“Lovely setting and really nice looking bar and restaurant. Carvary is excellent value and really tasty. A variety of options depending if you just want a small meal or you want to go all out on a massive meal with extra meat and additional items. Irrespective of the size of your meal everything is competitively priced. As with all carvarys you get unlimited veg. The other bonus is they do not hike up the prices behind the bar. Had a great visit and will be returning”

“Very pleasant place! Cheap, fast, and tasty. And when the sun comes out, it feels magical — the large glass panoramic windows fill the whole space with light and warmth. A perfect spot for a delicious breakfast or a morning coffee. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot tell you how strange it is nowadays to come across a team the just exudes customer service: Sarah, Zoe and the hilarious Christy always make our little lunch causers feel so special. Not only are they patient and kind, they go way and beyond to make you feel like the only customer in the place. Thank you for everything guys. “Food is excellent value for money. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings inside. Is a private dining room for groups too. Variety of tables and booths. Subdued lighting.”

“Yes it's dated, and the rooms are overdue a refurb. But the staff are friendly, it's quiet, and (for what I paid) extremely great value. Breakfast was actually really good, and the food on offer in the bar was significantly better than expected - and fairly priced. They keep apologising about the long term roadworks outside which means it's a bit more complicated to access, but they really don't cause a problem. Parking is free as long as you put your reg in the terminal - but there are 8 foot high banners at each entry door reminding you to do this! I would definitely stay again for work.”
