βThis is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant. There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in. The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow. The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep. The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side. Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have. My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area againβ
βStayed here as attending a wedding reception very close by. Excellent location with super parking. Lovely room and a comfortable bed. Breakfast fine but not a massive choice. Overall a very good choice of lodgings.β
βWhat a great find - rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are very comfy. Located right near the A1 but very quiet so sleep isn't a problem. Free parking right out the front is a bonus. Breakfast is provided in the adjacent atmospheric 1600's pub - delicious! Staff provided a warm welcome and gave some great recommendations on things to do around the area and beyond. Couldn't have asked for better for our first night in the UK! Thank you!β
βWe booked this Premier Inn for a special event we had in the area. A lot of our guests stayed there too. The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond for us and our guests. We highly recommend them.β
βStayed here for a week while my husband was on a work trip. Standard premier inn, clean and comfortable. Christopher at reception was super friendly and very helpful, suggesting where we could eat and making sure we settled in well, thank you Christopher!β
βHad a wonderful Sunday roast sat in the bar area with our dog in front of the log burner. The service was friendly, non intrusive and personal. Good menu selection, not just roasts. We will be back soon.β
βI booked 10 rooms for a fishing party, we were fishing at Grafham Water the accommodation was perfect. Comfy beds in super clean rooms. The staff accepted my request for an early breakfast on the Saturday. The meal for 24 people was served by 4 staff, all the meals were hot and nice portions. Would recommend this to all.β
βThe room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.β
βGreat location just off the main road, short run into town if needed! Very clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great restaurant opposite. Will be back soon and look forward to their refurbished rooms in time.β
βAs always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!β
βCan't comment on the bedrooms as I didn't use them. The conference and events area however, is fantastic. It's really spacious and very clean. The rooms can be made up for any event. They are warm, welcoming and they can take away the business feel for more private events. The food and drinks provided are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.β
βI have stayed here on numerous occasions for work purposes. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds here are one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Air con - warm/cool is perfect. The only amenities I miss is a small fridge and iron. Shower rooms are adequate, although I do detest a fixed shower head! The staff are all very pleasant. Elizabeta and Meera in the restaurant are very professional and polite. Breakfast offers sufficient choice for me and is enjoyable.β
βBooked a 2 night stay visiting family, upon arrival the manager couldnβt do much more for us. Extra towels no bother, offered us a cup of tea. We were on the 7th floor and had a side river view. The room was spotless, not even a stray hair in the bathroom. We didnβt ask for it to be cleaned whilst we were there as it wasnβt required. Upon check out validating for the car park is really easy to do, on the machine provided. Not sure if this is premier innβs model, but removing all front of house staff is a big mistake when you have wonderful staff working for you.β
βThis hotel ticks all the boxes. It's clean, modern and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast. Good location. The staff however make it great. Lovely service from Olga and Oliver throughout our 1 night stay. Thank youβ
βWe had a great stay at this Premier Inn and its location to get into the shopping centre was superb. We had a top floor premier plus room and had absolutely no noise and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and staff very very good especially Kwabena who checked us in and explained the car park. Car parking was no issue but we did arrive early to ensure we could get a space. Overall a very good stay.β
βFabulous room and location. I eat in the restaurant first night and the menu didnβt really have anything I fancied so I just ordered the chicken wings. They were greasy and soggy so I left most of them. Waiter was very attentive. Plenty of decent restaurants very nearby so I ate out for the rest of the time. Lovely hotel. Beds extremely comfortable and I loved having six high quality pillows. Would stay again. Very convenient for train station.β
βGood stay with super friendly staff. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Just a little dated.β
βStayed for a week whilst on a course down here. The staff were excellent throughout. Kacper was exceptionally great, very polite, attentive and a great asset to the team. Wouldnβt hesitate to book here again, should I be working in or around the area. DziΔkujΔ, Kacper :)β
βA lovely spot, members of staff are very professional and sweet. The food is decent, breakfast is absolutely top notch. Bar staff are all helpful and welcoming. Rooms are always clean and mint, smell fresh and well maintained. Been over 15 times never had to complain. 11/10β
βWe had a room booking here - we hired the Raven Hall for a research event and were so pleased with the space and with the support from staff. Lots of parking spaces, but also walkable to the station if need be. All friendly people, coffee and tea availble. Highly recommend.β
βHotel was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Both evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very good with tea and coffee making facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.β
βWe stayed at the Mill Pub for a couple of nights. This is a lovely local pub in an excellent location right in the heart of Bedford. The staff were so welcoming, especially Mary who really looked after us and went above and beyond! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bedford.β
βVery welcoming friendly staff, very accommodating. Lovely clean and tidy room which was spacious and had everything you needed, including mini fridge, hairdryer, tv, complimentary tea, coffee etc, also complimentary shower gel/shampoo. On request an iron and table top board are available at no extra charge, was also able to borrow a dish and spoon. Breakfast was not available but there is a sainsbury less than five minutes down the road so easy enough to pick up cereal and milk. There was some scaffolding up on my visit but that was due to solar panels being fitted, also noticed an electric charging point being put in the car park. I stayed for a few days while having renovations done on home. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.β
βBasic room, but clean and sufficient to lay your head. Linda and staff made us feel like locals! Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasnβt ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having funβ¦β¦ but by midnight not a sound . We are hoping to stay agsin for the famous beer festival later this year, Kate and Brian Thomson 23/5/23β
βClean tidy. First time visitors and reception was friendly. Hall ways and room clean and tidy. Shower was immaculately clean. House keeping clearly take pride in the up keep of the hotel. I think this was the cleanest holiday inn I have stayed in. Well done to all the staff especially the house keeps for keeping such a big place clean and above all the other holiday inns I have visited.β
βGreat place to stay, very clean and in a lovely setting. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.β
βMe and my son booked a room last minute, as soon as we arrived we were amazed at the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and very clean throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was perfect, the bed was made all towels were provided and tea and coffee was there. The bathroom was great had soap and shower gels shampoo etc no signs of mould or dirt.. Extremely clean and very well presented. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a warm welcome 10/10β
βStayed here one night while on business in the area. Room was fantastic bed was very comfy and the shower was brilliant. Check was excellent the lady there was very helpful. Car park is very small and if youβre not careful you will get blocked in, just bear it in mind. Can imagine it gets rowdy at the weekend as it bang in the centre, but mid week was fine and I slept well.β
