“Located in the Graften Center there is plenty of parking in the attached multi story car park that offers disabled parking bays. The store and car park are at opposite ends of the center making it quite a walk if you have mobility problems. The store itself offers an extensive range of good quality clothes to suit all ages and gender and are reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and polite with a good knowledge of their stock.”

“I’ve not taken the name of the girl but I would like to give her 5 stars for being absolutely lovely and helping beyond expectations.She was very young and was wearing hoodie x I found a dress and was quite dirty so she looked all over shop for another one .Then she tried to find 1 online and when there was none left in stock she offered discount and advise me to use vanish to clean it( yes girl it worked perfect) . Such a breath of fresh air she was hope she gets promotion as definitely asset to this shop .”

“Fab customer service. The lady who looked to be the manager or person in charge was so friendly at 9 am on a Saturday morning, even made a point of speaking to me as leaving the shop. The lady who served me dressed as a 'cracker' was fab also, really friendly and polite. All staff looked happy to be there, which I know is hard as retail can be a very horrible place at times.”

“Fantastic customer service! I needed to make an online return and went into the Bedford store, at the till I was helped by Syeda - who was great. She explained the process and was so helpful. I made a mistake and the manager Debbie sorted the issue with the help of New Look HO. I felt compelled to leave this review as whilst shopping across the last few days, I have heard many staff in retail get treated poorly. The service I received today was truly great and I for one am grateful that we still have retail choices in our town centres. “Absolutely love this Matalan! It’s become a regular stop for us whenever we’re at Interchange Retail Park. My wife always finds something stylish without breaking the bank, and my son loves checking out the kids’ section—there’s always something fun or comfy for him. The store is well-organized, prices are fair, and they’ve got a great mix of fashion, basics, and homeware. Staff are friendly and approachable, and even during busy hours it never feels chaotic. Plenty of parking outside too. It’s just one of those places where you always walk out with more than you planned—but in a good way!”
